Family Info Father;
 Swafi Jr is what is known as a nice young man. The sort most mothers would probably love their daughters to bring home! But Swafi Jr is quite shy around females, and is happier talking to other males because that way he thinks if he says something foolish they won't be judging him too much. Swafi Jr is attached to his mother, not in a 'need to cut the apron strings' way, but he worries about her, and makes sure to visit his mother as often as he can. Swafi did worry that one day he might lose his good memory and intelligence and become like his mother. He also worried that he might wind up doing what his father did and leaving any mare that he made a relationship with. But when he met Cassandra those worries seemed to melt away, and now all he wants to do is be a loyal mate, and a good father to their three children.
Swafi is happy doing most things, and will pretty much go along with the flow and with the crowd
Grandmother;

Dory is a sweet mare, but suffers from her short term memory, as a result she often doesn't remember those she's met, where she is going or even the names of her children on occasion! Dory likes the sea, likes to stand on the beach and watch the waves because the sea is always the same, and she doesn't feel that she is forgetting something when she is standing by it. She likes to collect shells, and then discard the collection to start again. Dory loves to race, and has a good turn of speed on her.
Dory has three children, who she remembers with varying degrees of success, but she'll always love them. She is veryy happy that Swafi Jr found himself a loving mate, and moreso that they've had three children, though this does of course mean three more names to try and remember!
( Please note, as I will be leaving Gaia you will only be rp'ing with the owners of the mother and siblings, these are for information for the contest)
Mother;

Cassandra, a precious daughter of Snowlily and Cassius, have not known the hardships and struggles when she was a foal because of Snowlily's adopted sister Frosta and brother Zahariah always being there to help Snowlily with Cassandra and her siblings. Cassandra loves being in a very large family and her vision to have a large family with her mate Swafi Jr because she wants to experience the ultimate joy and love in her OWN family she is starting with her mate. This is the mare that loves to laugh and enjoy the life to its fullest but at same time, she is almost a carbon copy of her mother, personality-wise. But this mare have a perchance of following in her father's footsteps when it comes to dancing and singing.
Grandmother;

Snowlily is a mare that enjoys travelling and soaring in the skies but her most favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family (extended and adopted as well). She always have been a maternal type ever since she became an adult, wanting to help and guide soquilis through any problems or troubles they have. She is always ready with a smile and some wise words. After losing her first mate, Snowlily became more stronger and resilient but more wise. She discovered her true mate in a white wintery Cerynei stallion named Skah so she is content with watching her family blossom around her.

Name: DemonWingedPoetGirl Soquili Owned: I fully own four ( Blake, Thesh-ah, Reii Yuki, and Isolean Vriends.) And I co own two (Recovery with DarkMoonDancer and Tyler with X_Nagati.) So five total.
Soquili Name:
Male: Puck Reasoning behind the name?: The coloring of the basket reminds me of the fairy protection circles of Irish fae lore. You know the ones made out of mushrooms?
Female: Chastity Reasoning behind the name: Again that the baskets colors remind me of fairy circles but Im drawing form a certain aspect of that resemblance. The protection aspect.
Example of fairy ring http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_hOWKFt6tS8/TXyJ5gaSqYI/AAAAAAABLFo/RcYpcp8BsIc/s1600/Doll+house+fairy+ring.jpg Personality: Due to how much I enjoyed writing the males prompt I've decided that I really just liked that personality so it will be the same for male or female.
Temper word for cert: Imaginative Quirks: ~Has imaginary fairy freinds. ~Knack for story telling. ~has a hard time separating the things he makes up with the things that really happen. ~ appears to be a tad off and not remarkably bright but hes really quite sharp. ~Silver Tongue ~ Sings ((or if i get him ill get a reed flute costumed for him)) ~ like foals better than adults. Likes: ~Flowers ~telling wild tales that he sometimes thinks really happened. ~laughter ~Attention ~ Watching others iterations. ~ Stir-ing the pot so to speak. ~ games Dislikes: ~ Being Dirty ~ planing things ~ being told he needs to grow up ~ being bullied (( as a foal he will be bullied and pick on a lot about his imaginary friends))
Future Plots:
~ Finding a super serious companion for him to entertain. ~ be a general comical third wheel in more than a few of other soquillis plot lines. ~ A friend who doesn't mind his imaginary ones ~ A friend who tells him he needs to stop with the imaginary friends ~ telling stories ~ ADVENTURE!!!! ~ An Epic Quest! ~ helping those in need.
Prompt Response: Prompt #1 written from the male persona's perspective.
"A foals adventures are like falling in love. They much like you do don't know how far in they've gotten until it's scary to turn back."
Puck looked back across his shoulder, over his white spots and remembered quite fondly now how this day had started. Hopping that maybe just thinking of something light would make how this day was ending a little brighter. It was with a high step, a light heart, and a wide grin He had trotted along the winding forest path. So confident so . . . Foolish. Brightly colored dry fall leaves showered down from the trees that seems so happy then. The way his voice echoed and carried through the barren forest. It was all so beautiful so magical. . .and now it was all just so terrifying. The trees were now ragged skeletal wraiths waiting to grab him, every falling leaf that landed on his back was the talons of some beast trying to grab him and perhaps worst of all was just the general darkness. Enveloping everything, hiding anything that might have been of some minor consolation in this surely his hour if need. Suddenly an owl swooped over head and snatched a mouse off of the path right in front of him. With a exclamation of surprise he Quickly dashed into a bush and shivered with his hooves over his head. His eyes squeezed shut "I wish I had grandmas memory problems i would really like to forget I was here right now." he whimpered "no-I have to stay positive. I'll be fine. I'll be fine I'll be fine.-" he repeated to himself over and over and over. Trying to build up his shattered confidence. "yes you will be fine" said a tiny feminine voice after a few moments. Puck nearly jumped out of his skin but kept his eyes closed for fear of what he might see. "go away." he shouted in shaky tones tears welling in his eyes. "puck. open your eyes puck" the voice coxed gently. "I'm not here to hurt you." Slowly he opened them to see a tiny green . . .or was it purple (he couldn't really tell maybe it kept changing or . . .maybe his mind kept changing) glowing orb with wings fluttering before him. He blinked a few times to make sure it was really there sniffling and on the verge of more tears. Whatever it was his it seemed friendly and made him feel vastly better about his situation. "Don't cry little puck." it said sweetly then landed on his nose. "I'm here to help you." "ho- how are you going to help? how do you know my name?" he replied. It said nothing in return only started floating away in a fashion that suggested he should fallow. He struggled his shaking legs and chased after it. The thing went to fast for him and eventually despite his best efforts he had lost it. "COME BACK!" he shouted looking around. "puck-we've been looking for you for hours!" his father scolded stepping out from behind a large oak tree. "DAD!" puck shouted and Bounded toward him so happy he could nearly scream. "your mothers been worried sick. Let's get you back." Puck nodded and looked back once more. There was the glowing orb seeming to wave to him he smiled at it for moment in thanks, making sure to keep right instep with his father so as not to get lost again.

Name: Ramenli Soquili Owned: 3.5 Soquili Name: Gladiolus (For both genders, aka Sword Lily and known to be the flower of the gladiators, showing traits such as strength and honesty) Personality: This is for either gender really, but for ease of reading I will fill this out with feminine pronouns. Gladiolus knows that she somewhat dainty in appearance, and was named for a flower, but she truly has taken the idea of the sword to heart. She leans toward being serious, but she does have a good sense of humor. Gladiolus understands that she cannot do anything about her mind if it does go, so she is training her body instead, and also trying to follow a good path. She has her own set of rules to follow, to protect the weak and to try to ensure that justice is done. She does not like those who manipulate her, but she can not always tell when she is being manipulated. Part of why she has a code that she has tried to drill into her mind is that she does not always remember the details. She remembers big things, and unlike her Grandma Dory she remembers names (well, if they have met at least two or three times). But things like when someone’s birthday is, or what their favorite food is, smaller details she simply cannot recall on demand. Likes: Honesty, stability, helping others, plums (she has a minor obsession) Dislikes: Manipulators, bullies, extremely cold weather, things she can’t remember when she wants to Future Plots:Best Friend: I’d love for Gladiolus to find another foal (preferably outside of the family, but maybe one of her siblings) that’s maybe a bit on the weaker side that she can grow up with, and stick up for if needed. You’re a Bully Gladiolus is not fearless, but she will stick up for herself and others if there is a need. I would like to see her stand up to a “scary” soq (this could just be a fully grown soq while she is still young). I do not want her to be hurt from this encounter, but rather I would like the soq to be amused/impressed by her spirit and back down, giving her a boost in confidence. Family RP: Any family interactions would be great. I would at least like to have a little bit of storyline fleshed out before you leave to figure out how her father factors into her life. You forgot again, didn’t you: I would like an RP where Gladiolus forgets an event, perhaps even her own birthday. It would be a little exasperating for those around her, but she will try to shrug it off, but inwardly she will feel guilty about not remembering, and she may finally remember the event if it is an annual one. Prompt Response: Prompt 2 Gladiolus followed her family away from the beach, not sticking too close, but not exploring like she usually did. She was contemplative today; visiting Grandma Dory had made her think. Now that she was older she realized that funny Grandma Dory actually had a problem, and she somewhat understood it. Just last week she had tried to remember what her mom’s favorite food was, only to realize she couldn’t remember. And before that she had tried to remember which of her family members didn’t like grasshoppers…to no success. So what if she ended up like Grandma Dory? What if her memory got that bad…and she couldn’t even remember her own name? Gladiolus snorted and shook her head before frisking up and then passing her family members. If she forgot she didn’t have to worry about it, she wouldn’t be able to remember what she was missing out on anyway. There was too much to do to waste time worrying about it anyways. She started exploring, and in her mind she began to fight an imaginary foe, rearing up and playing in the grass as she put the bad thoughts out of her mind. Perhaps a bit too easily…

Name: ~Twilight...Angel~ Soquili Owned: 1.5 : D Soquili Name: Hiroshi (Male), Akemi (Female) Male name means generous. Female name means bright and beautiful. Personality: Male:Temper: Thoughtful As the meaning of his name suggests, he is very giving and kind. He enjoys being around others and likes to try and please everyone. Although this may seem like a good thing, it leads to a lot of unresolved internal issues for him. He has a tendency to think of others first and, therefore, ends up forgetting to take care of himself. He enjoys playing with his basket siblings and trying to teach them various things that he's learned about the world himself. Likes: His siblings, nature, exploring, and girlies ;D Dislikes: People being mean and inconsiderate to him, having to share his feelings, and bugs... they scare him (as a foal). Female:Temper: Flirty She is very intelligent and enjoys being the center of attention. She enjoys flitting around, making new friends with any foal or filly that will play with her. Other Soquili seem to flock to her, having a magnetic personality. She loves going out and finding things to do, exploring and taking care of things. She has a knack for growing things and takes care of her own little flower garden in a spot near their home. Like: Plants, Flowers, Nature, Exploring, and Learning new things. Dislikes: Extremely cold weather, Being lonely, and Too much hard work. Future Plots: Male:Sharing Your Feelings: Another Soquili corners him about always having to please others and not bothering to take care of himself. He ends up breaking down a bit and telling them about how he does feel. Finding Love...: This would be for a Soquili that has gotten to know him well and can read him. He would finally be able to openly share his feelings while pleasing someone at the same time. Female:Attracting Attention: She has found a Soquili who doesn't flock over to her and garner her with attention. Thinking it strange and not understanding why, she pursues them, trying to get some attention for herself. Loving Affection: She has met a Soquili that seems to enjoy her company no matter what they are doing. She enjoys their attention, and them, hers. She learns that life isn't always about getting what she wants and the attention it gets her. Prompt Response: You wake up one morning and realise that the whole world (well a couple of meadows and some woodland) is spread in front of you to explore so you decide to go on a 'grand adventure'. What happens during said adventure?Male:Hiroshi yawned and stretched as he slowly made his way outside their home. He looked around, excited for the day ahead. The other day, he had discovered that there was a bit of woods and a meadow a bit beyond them that he hadn't been able to look at yet. Happily, Hiroshi trotted to the edge of the small woods, looking back, he saw his basket siblings and mother just coming out. He let out a small whinny and smiled at them, telling them that he would be back and letting them know where he was going. Slowly, he made his way into the small woodland. Hiroshi took in the sights, sounds, and smells as soon as he was a little in, stopping to enjoy it all. "This is gonna be a great day..." He wasn't talking to anyone in particular. As he strolled in, he sniffed at the ground a bit. His nose touched something.... fuzzy. He sniffed a bit more... "OMG! A BUG!" Startled Hiroshi, jumped back, examining the bug from a safe distance. "Weird fuzzy thing..." Deciding that leaving the bug alone was a good idea, he continued on. He stopped and sniffed a bit at a tree, some of the sticky sap getting stuck to the tip of his nose. Looking down his muzzle, he noticed the light amber color... and that it wouldn't come off. "Huh... sticky stuff..." Looking around a bit, he saw a stream a distance away. Hiroshi trotted over to it, sticking his whole face in. "There... that's a bit better... mom might be able to get the rest off for me..." For now, he decided to continue. A little further up, he finally saw the small meadow. Gleefully he bounded into it, falling and rolling around in the grass and flowers. "Ahhh.... this is nice..." Laying on his back, he tilted his head to the side, eating a bit of the sweet delicious grass. He then turned his face to the sky, admiring the clouds shapes. A rabbit familiar hopped close to his face, blocking out the sun and staring down at the foal. Hiroshi stared at the rabbit, admiring it's soft coat of fur and snow white coloring. Then, just as quickly as the rabbit had appeared, it hopped away. He watched it, noticing one black spot on it's behind as it left. "Even the whitest of creatures still have dark spots." He found this to be an interesting observation as he rolled over, getting off of the ground. Satisfied with the day's adventure, Hiroshi decided it was time for him to head home. He was now content with the fact that he had seen it before his basket siblings and could now show him all the amazing things that he found. Maybe he would see the rabbit again too. He hoped he wouldn't see that fuzzy weird bug again though... Female:Akemi gleefully trotted over to the edge of the small woodland. She had already told her mother and her basket siblings where she was going. Her siblings had decided that they would rather stay home then go on her adventure with her. Her mother had let her go because it was still early afternoon and wouldn't get dark for a few more hours. "Plenty of time to explore this new place" Akemi had decided. Galloping into the woods, she stood a ways in, looking around at all the different plants. Always enjoying the prospect of finding a new kind of flower to take home to her garden. Spotting a pretty blue one she didn't have, Akemi went over to it, carefully smelling it and deciding how she might take it home later. "Maybe I'll ask mother for help... or if I can borrow some kind of container that the two leggers may have left behind." Smiling to herself at her find, she continued on a bit further in the woods. Akemi spotted a small fox familiar not too far ahead of her. Quietly, she stalked it, slowly creeping closer. She liked it's deep brown coloring and the weird silver looking lines it had. "I wonder where it got those pretty markings..." Just as she was thinking about them to herself, she saw a slightly bigger fox familiar walk over to it, bearing similar markings, but a coat of pure black. "That must be the little ones parent." She smiled to herself as she thought of her own mother, thinking of how she got some of her markings and things from her mother as well. Getting up from her slight crouching position, Akemi decided that it was time to move beyond the woods to observe what she could find in the small meadow her mother had told her was beyond them. Galloping into the meadow, she tripped on a small stone and fell headlong into the grass and dirt. "Ewwww...." She got up, shaking off and looking herself up and down. "Alright... not as dirty as I thought I would be." She puffed out her chest a bit, trying to look big and strong, for now reason in particular. She giggled at herself, then decided that it was time to go home. Akemi turned to face the direction she had come from, remembering that she had to ask her mother for the container, she galloped excitedly back toward home. "I'm sure that mother will love the blue flower I found as well..." Grinning from ear to ear, she ran at top speed toward home.

Name: lysia_nyteblade Soquili Owned: 10... but 2 are co-owned so um.. 9 Soquili Name: Girl: Brigid, Boy: Tristan Personality: The foal within will have an affinity for Detective like things. Mysteries, and unsolvable things she or he will try to solve them like a good little sleuth. She/he loves a good story that has a decent mystery plot to it. It's dislikes will be sweets of any kind.. can't stand them preferring the more sour tasting things in life to the sweets. Future Plots: foal plots: Tell me a story- This is what will spark the foal's interest in gumshoe work. Some one tells him/her a story of some one else that went to great lengths to solve a mystery. It inadvertently plants the idea into the foal's impressionable mind. You need me I'm here- This is a family incorporated plot. Some one in the family looses something or just is having a hard time.. coping with something else.. The foal sees how much it'd be a positive thing if there were some one to help solve the issues. Adult plots: The Missing- He/she has obtained a task to find something that's missing. Could be another soquili or just something very dear to someone. Suspicions-Some one comes to him/her after hearing things about a gumshoe investigator of a soquili in order to seek out some information on another soquili. This could be open to a mare worried about her mate being unfaithful.. or anything along the lines to give another soquili any suspicions of another individual sending him/her out to trail and investigate the soquili in question. Prompt Response:Prompt 2: You've just visited Grandma Dory at the beach, and whilst you had great fun playing in the sea etc, you were struck by how poor Dory's memory was. Your parents have told you she's always been that way, but it gets you thinking. Do you worry you might 'inherit' the memory problem? How do you think you would cope if it did happen? ((Will be responding as if the basket were a male for this.)) Hrm.... always been this way? He thought to himself as he walked away from his parents to think this over some. Just how HAD grandma dory lost her memories? Were they find able? Was there some way to help her? There had to be! Only, how? He could snoop them out perhaps.. but no... that wouldn't work.. she'd likely just loose them again.. Was it possible that some day he too might loose his memories? His brow furrowed as all these thoughts rolled around in his mind. He looked rather perplexed by this. What would it be like to one day know some one and the next... not know them at all? Shaking his head, he refused to settle for just waiting and seeing. He'd just have to make sure he wouldn't loose if memories.. after all.. what good was a gumshoe if he couldn't remember the case he was on? He'd be prepared if that came to pass.. but for now.. he'd just have to settle for the knowledge that he knew who we was and his memory was healthy and in tact. Nodding his head in his resolve, he wandered back to be with his family. For now, it was enough to just be him.. to know who every one was in his family. He'd gladly take it one day at a time and treat each day as a blessing that his memory hadn't gone. And what if he started to become forgetful? Well.. he'd just have to cross that stream when he came to it.

Name: Scaramouche Fandango Soquili Owned: Four: Yuri, Laika, Dresden, and Galileo Figaro Soquili Name: If male, Priam (Cassandra's dad in Greek mythology) If female, Castalia (Ok, connection here is kinda tenuous. Greek Cassandra got her gift of prophecy from Apollo. Apollo was a total skirt-chaser and got involved with several nymphs, and Castalia was one of them. Of course, the parents would not know this and would pick Castalia as a name because it's a very pretty name.) Personality: The foal will definitely take after Cassandra when it comes to temperament. Laughter is very important, second only to the importance of family. The most exciting thing in life is getting to play with cousins... or maybe it's meeting new soquili! There's not a bitter bone in the kiddo's body. The foal really likes hanging out at the beach, warm weather, and meeting new friends. Dislikes include the rain and... well, honestly not much else. The foal's got a really open mind and can find value and something to enjoy in nearly every situation. An enemy, after all, is just a friend who hasn't seen the value of friendship yet. Future Plots:Don't you forget about me: I envision the foal as being really close to Grandma Dory, but frequently frustrated with her forgetting her grandchild's name. This plot would center around kiddo trying to come up with a nickname for himself or herself that will stick. But while "Super-fast" and "Awesome-hooves" are pretty cool nicknames, are they really the best? And what of a sibling's suggestion of "Goofus"? I'm in love with a sea pony: The foal will really love spending time at the beach with Grandma Dory. Eventually, but while still a foal, he or she will develop a massive puppy-love crush on another soquili (preferably patient and very understanding) they frequently see at the sea. Sure, the object of their affection looks a little... different... but that's ok! Love is based on personality, right? Of course, this is a love that cannot be- not only is the crush in question pretty wrong for the colt/filly, they're also completely aquatic! I'd like this to develop into a life-long friendship and also serve as the foal's introduction to the more body morphic forms of soquili diversity. Brother from another mother: In this plot, the foal would find a familiar. Maybe at the beach, maybe elsewhere. The bond would be super-close and the rp would be adorable, as this would be the foal's first encounter with an animal of this species. Family means no-one gets left behind: While the foal will be really close to the dad's side of the family, what about Mom's? Those wings on Grandma Snowlily are pretty impressive, and Grandpa looks nothing like Mom! I envision the foal seeking out the extended family on Mom's side and getting to know them well. Prompt Response: (Using maleness for the sake of ease) On an ordinary warm summer's night, Priam would be asleep, snoozing with his siblings under the stars. But tonight wasn't an ordinary night, no, not at all. The normally happy-go-lucky little foal was fraught with worry, malaise souring his stomach and racking his brain. Grandma had done it again. They'd been collecting shells together and she'd forgotten his name. He'd passed it off as a joke, and eventually so did she, but it really worried him. What if this kind of thing ran in the family? He didn't want to forget! His siblings meant so much to him, as did his parents. They were his world, his universe, a little microcosm of togetherness and love. What would it be like if one day he woke up and they were strangers? He couldn't ask his grandmother how she coped with it. That would just probably make her sad, and he couldn't do that to her. But he saw how she lived, how she stayed near the sea because it was a concept too big to forget. How she'd named a fox Squishy, and how he wasn't sure if it was the first Squishy or just a name she could easily remember. He had no idea how the world at large perceived her, but while he loved her just as strongly as he loved the rest of his family, he knew that something was wrong with her mind and there was nothing anybody could do about it. He felt horrible for thinking of his beloved grandmother as disabled, but the truth- and facing the truth- was also important, no matter how bad it might be. But... maybe even if he did inherit the memory problem, it wouldn't be so... so bad. After all, look at Grandma Dory. Sure, her issues were real and prescient, but her family loved her and supported her. His dad really cared for her, and even if she couldn't remember his name, she still was happy to see him when he and his siblings were brought to see her. She was loved by her children and her children's children and even if she forgot her family, they'd never forget her. It would be the same with him. He had his dad, his mom, his siblings, and the extended families on both sides. Even if her forgot everything else, he'd never forget their love. They'd never let him forget that. He still worried. Knowing that he'd have love and support didn't completely quell his concerns. After all, he'd have to contend with the uncertainty and fear of losing his mind until he found a definitive answer. But he could at least be happy and content in knowing that losing his memory wasn't the worst thing that could happen to him. Now... if he could just get to sleep before sunrise. Yawning, he snuggled against his sister, hoping that he hadn't forgotten how to fall asleep.

Name: jinxgirl5 Soquili Owned: 1 (*cuddles her pretty boy*) Soquili Name: Padma (For either gender; means "lotus flower". The pink and green remind me of the flower itself, the gold and white dots make me think of India where I've seen lots of pretty pictures of lotuses.) Personality: (Personality and prompt will be written using male pronouns.) Grab a dictionary, look up forgetful, and right under the picture of Dory will be a picture of her grandchild. Along with references to absent-minded, oblivious, distracted, unaware, etc. Perhaps that’s being a bit unfair to Padma, because he doesn’t just forget things. His mind is like a merry-go-round, a thought here one second and gone the next, but it’ll eventually make the revolution and return back to the forefront. Instead of forget, it might be more accurate to say that Padma has a big mind, rich imagination, and itty bitty attention span. If it causes him problems it’s hard to tell, since Padma always seems to be on some level of annoyingly cheerful and optimistic. He is aware (as much as he can be) that others think he’s forgetful and unreliable for important things, so tries to make up for it by giving his all and doing everything to the best of his abilities. Future Plots:Let’s go! – Foal plot preferably, but can do as an adult too. Padma is out wandering and comes across a stranger set on some small task of their own, and insists upon helping. Distraction strikes, and Padma leads the stranger through a whole series of time-consuming (and potentially dangerous) situations. Do they even get to finish the task the stranger was bent on in the first place? Don’t forget the- – Another plot I’d prefer to do at the foal stage, and would like to somehow involve family. Padma has been given a task, a very important task. It could be delivering an item or message, finding something that got lost, anything along those lines. Will the distracted little foal be able to stay on task? I can be tough too! – Let’s face it, Padma is just overly cheerful and screams “push-over”. This is an adult plot. I’d like Padma to meet someone of the same gender, a real tough guy or gal, the kind that makes little foals run crying for their mommas. The encounter can vary, from a chest-thumping bragging contest to a show of strength, to anything else that can be thought up. I’d like Padma to come away from the encounter either with a “rival” for who’s toughest, or a really good friend. I think you’re really….LOOK AT THAT!! – Adult plot. Having a poor attention span doesn’t mean you can’t find love! But is there any mare or stallion out there that can not only capture this highly distractible Soq’s attention, but hold it? Prompt Response: Padma found himself wandering aimlessly, humming little snippets of song that changed style every couple minutes. What to do today? He’d already played a game with his siblings this morning, or at least he thought he did. Hide-and-seek ended when you found everyone, didn’t it? Was he the seeker or a hider? Well he hadn’t seen either of them since then, so it probably didn’t-… A squirrel streaked in front of Padma and whisked up a tree, scolding the young foal for disturbing her. He laughed and gamboled around the tree, thinking the squirrel wanted to play chase. “I’m gonna getcha, I’m gonna getcha,” he called out through his laughs. A breeze suddenly swept through the treetops and… Oh, what a pretty feather! Padma promptly forgot about the game with the squirrel (to the squirrel’s intense relief) and chased after the wind-blown feather. “Come back here,” he called out, making little hops and trying to catch the scarlet feather. “You’re gonna be my new mane ornament, and we’re gonna have lots of fun and play games together, and-,”… Games. Oh that’s right, he’d been playing hide-and-seek with his siblings. They were probably still looking for him. Or waiting for him to find them, he really couldn’t remember which. Padma stopped and looked around at the surrounding for-… This wasn’t the forest! There were no trees at all, just a bunch of grass that came up to tickle his belly. Padma had never seen anything like it before. The wind brushed the top of the grass, making it look like a giant creature moving underneath, just out of view. With a whoop Padma gave chase, reveling in the newness and forgetting (again) about hide-and-seek. The sun was a fiery disk sitting on top of the trees and quickly sinking beneath them by the time Padma returned to the edge of the forest where home and his family waited. He’d had an excellent day of chasing rabbits, birds, and wind-blown grass, pairing up rocks he found so they’d have friends, and even composing a wonderful song for all his rock friends to remember him by after he left. A scarlet jay scolded him for walking underneath its tree, making Padma feel like he’d forgotten something. He hummed a little song that included credible imitations of the jay’s scolds, trying to remember but coming up blank. By the time he got home he forgot he was even trying to remember anything at all, far more caught up in finding Momma and giving her a good nuzzling! And why were his siblings looking at him in that slightly accusatory fashion?

Name: Ishtanballa Soquili Owned: 15, 4 co-owned and 13 fully owned Soquili Name: Zita for female, Zamuel for male Personality: Temper: Sporadic If you were to look at this foal and see him/her partaking in some activity, then only briefly look away, by the you returned you attention she/he would be doing something else. It's not that she/he lacks the attention to focus on solely one activity at a time, just that there's so much energy in their body they she/he feels the need to constantly have more than one activity going at a time. This hyperactivity also causes him/her to have a mouth that goes a mile a minute. If you want him/her to be quiet, then you're going to have to stuff a sock into their yap. Not guaranteeing it'd last since she/he would chew through it eventually, but it might buy you a few moments of peace. She/He also has an odd habit of referring to her/himself in the 3rd person. Future Plots:-As a foal, he/she encounters another Soq that attempts to fix his/her speech habit. Feeling self conscious, she/he will attempt to listen to this Soq and adjust their speech patterns to fit normal standards. Ultimately this will fail because it simply won't feel right. -I wish for him/her to be taught various lessons from many different kinds of Soqs. Lessons that will prove handy in day to day life. I would also like him/her to find a special niche during this process and become an apprentice to another Soq to hone to which ever skill catches their interest. Eventually he/she will grow into a master themselves. -Another thing that I would like to happen is for him/her to be challenged to do nothing for a whole day. I believe it would drive him/her absolutely bonkers and that she/he would cave in no time flat, but would be a great learning experience. Prompt Response: Prompt 2What was it like within his grandmothers mind? To have thoughts and memories slip away like the waves washing over the sand. To have to struggle to remember the important things, a task that comes so easily to anyone else. No, Zamuel could not even begin to imagine what kind of life would be like. Nor did he want to. He didn't want to forget. He didn't want to forget how to get to his special places, like the shallow pool of water he would often visit to watch the baby frogs. Or how to play his favorite game, Hop Skip, a game of his own invention involving skipping pebbles. He was still tweaking the name. He knew it was selfish to feel this way, but he could not help it. Just the thought of forgetting things he considered important, no matter how small, was more terrifying than the scary stories of being turned into a Skinwalker. He didn't want to be like grandma Dory. He refused to! If he began forgetting things well, then he'd have to fix it. He'd make his brain work more. And leave notes, notes everywhere! Notes that only he could understand so that no one else would know what was happening. And if anyone ever asked why, he'd just tell them that it was because he had so many things going on. It wouldn't be a lie, he always had stuff going on. Mom and dad would probably be suspicious. Parents seemed to have a radar for these kinds of things. Like they could magically sense trouble. But things would be alright. He wouldn't be like grandma Dory. He hoped.

Name: Redbud-Tree Soquili Owned: 3 full owns Soquili Name: Cassidy (regardless of gender) Personality: Cassidy’s temperament would be best described as ‘fearful’. This little foal is afraid of anything and everything imaginable, taking caution to near paranoia-levels at times. Cassidy is afraid of the ocean, afraid of the sand, afraid of gravity reversing and suddenly dragging him/her up into the sky. The more ridiculous and overblown the fear, the more Cassidy is absolutely convinced that it can and ill eventually happen. It’s not uncomming to see this foal skittering back from the waves, or tying him/herself to a tree before sleeping so that s/he doesn’t fall up into the sky! About the only things that don’t frighten Cassidy are his/her family, and their presence. The only time Cassidy really feels safe is when close and snuggled up with family. You would think with this kind of fear and belief in certain doom, that Cassidy would be miserable and unhappy most of the time, perhaps even gloomy. But this isn’t the case. In fact, Cassidy is quite happy and cheerful when not suffering from the panic-attack-of-the-day. Future Plots: At some point, I’d like for one of Cassidy’s ridiculous fears to actually come true – not necessarily to his/her person, but at least in the vicinity where the foal’s fears seem to be completely justified. (Granted, not something silly like falling up, but some of Cassidy’s fears are believable.) Then perhaps later on, having to face the fact that his/her fears are interfering with a normal life, and trying to conquer them… albeit unsuccessfully. And maybe, in the far-flung future, meeting someone who can make him/her feel as safe as family does.. Prompt Response: Quote: You've just visited Grandma Dory at the beach, and whilst you had great fun playing in the sea etc, you were struck by how poor Dory's memory was. Your parents have told you she's always been that way, but it gets you thinking. Do you worry you might 'inherit' the memory problem? How do you think you would cope if it did happen? Note: For this prompt I am referring to the foal as female. Today had been a terrifying day for little Cassidy. First of all, they had gone to visit Grandma Dory. That wasn’t so bad, except that she lived by the beach. The beach meant sand, which she was sure was going get stuck in her ears and make her deaf someday, and worse, the ocean! The ocean was the scariest thing next to the wide-open sky, because it was big, and wet, and deep, and it was going to eat her. It was going to escape the beach someday – the waves would grow great big, rear up over her head and pull her down into the depths, away from her family and everyone she knew. And then, when she was far enough away from them, she would turn into a fish! So it was perfectly understandable that the mere thought of visiting Granma Dory send shivers of terror down the young filly’s spine. Today’s visit, however, had brought an entirely new fear with it. Cassidy had always known that Grandma Dory was a little odd, especially since she sometimes didn’t seem to know who any of her family was! But just a little while ago, Cassidy had learned that her Grandma Dory forgot things all the time! Which meant, of course, that she was going to start forgetting things soon too; she was going to be just like Grandma Dory! Did that mean she was going to forget Mama and her Grandmas and siblings? Maybe – maybe she would forget how to breathe! Panicked now, the little filly started to run in circles, trying to make her mind go ‘in, out, in, out’ so she wouldn’t forget breathing. Oh, no, forgetting breathing was bad, but what if she forgot how to see? Or walk or eat? Oh, this was bad, horrible, terrible and scary! But – but maybe it wouldn’t happen immediately? Shivering, Cassidy trotted over to a safe place and folded her legs up, lying down and peering around her cautiously, trying to make sure she remembered everything around her. Had that rock been there a moment ago? She wasn’t sure. Had it been there? Had it just appeared? She couldn’t remember. It was starting already! With a terrified little moan, the filly dropped her head down and closed her eyes, hoping that Mama would come over here soon or that one of her less-scary fears would come true instead. Just because Grandma Dory was okay with her bad memory for the most part didn’t mean that it would be so mild for Cassidy. She shivered and let out a low sob, terrified anew that she would forget how to breathe and would end up suffocating.

Name: HarukaHaru Soquili Owned: 2.5 Soquili Name: Male - Kadon//Female - Sophia Personality: Kadon is the ideal friend/lover to have by your side; courageous, doesn't get upset easily and he is extremely passionate. He cares a great deal about others; their feelings, thoughts and dreams. Kadon wants everyone's dreams to come true, he likes to see others living their life the way they wish and not the way someone dictates a life to be lived. He is rather a free spirit; he goes on his own rules, no one else's. Nature is one thing that keeps him grounded, if he doesn't get peace and quiet when he wants to listen to nature, he can sometimes get a bit cranky. He doesn't like to stay in one place too long and if someone were to ask him to stay, he would have to say no unless it was someone who captured his heart. Kadon is one who will speak his own mind but try and be gentle, one who will rescue the damsel in distress and run off with her into the sunset. Sophia is very smart and cunning, she doesn't get tricked or deceived easily, if she does get tricked, there is certainly hell to pay. She is one stubborn mare who will never back down even when she might be in over her head. Soph doesn't like the idea that some mares depend on a stallion for a lot of things that are vital to survive. She is very head strong in her beliefs and will try and make others see the way she thinks if she doesn't agree with the other person's thoughts or attitude. Sure she wants to find a mate and settle down one day but she will do it on her own terms and not someone else's. This girl is full of attitude and knows how to share it in lame man’s terms. It doesn't make her all bad though because she does enjoy nature, the ocean and life that surrounds her every day. The sun, air and sea almost soothe her soul when she is by herself. There is no one to annoy her or upset her over stupid things like loving a mare or needing to provide off spring before she’s too old. She might be full of attitude, but that doesn't make her rude or a bully to anyone. She does not like being told what to do and when to do it is really all it comes down to in the end. Future Plots: If it is a male: 1) Fairy tales don't end in happy endings: He gets his heart broken by a mare who lies, cheats and deceives him. They have children and then she leaves him in the dust. 2) Once upon a time: There should be a healer of sorts, a mare who stumbles upon the single father and tries to mend his heart. This could become a really good friend to him or possibly a lover. 3) A new chapter: He finds what he thinks is his true love and realizes that not all of the mares in the world are evil or lying manipulators. 4) Stranger Danger - An evil being comes and reigns down on Kadon and his lover, it could be a Kalona or skin walker or something else entirely. They take away his true love and he has to rescue her only to find out that his once true love has decided to mate with the evil being and that she was only in it for his off spring. 5) Heart break fever: Tired of heart break, he closes himself off from other mares and just focuses on his children. A pure mare happens upon him and works bit by bit to open him up to her; she falls in love with him and is patient enough to wait for him to fall in love with her. She would have to earn his trust and love big time. If female: 1) War of words: She encounters a mare or stallion or challenges her beliefs and really makes her second guess her own thoughts and beliefs. 2) Sticks and stones: Sophia finds out that words can really do some damage to someone. She tries to get someone to see things her way, once she is certain they do, she leaves them to their mind. Later on, she encounters the same mare/stallion and realizes that the damage that was done to them was by her. The mare/stallion can be insane or some other mental state, he/she makes her see what she is capable of doing to others. 3) Think before you speak: Soph tries to heal the mare/stallion that she did damage to in the past, she doesn't like knowing she is responsible for the things she had done. 4) A new life?: If it is a stallion, she could possibly fall in love with the one she broke and get turned down once she fixes him. 5) Prince Charming: She encounters a stallion who agrees with her beliefs and feelings about settling down and having a lover. It would be her version of prince charming or as close to it as could be possible. 6) Bad Boy: Soph could encounter a "bad boy" who could change her beliefs and the way she thinks about others, he could shape her into his perfect lover of sorts. ((For the last three, they are just options; it could go all three ways or just one)) For boy/girl: Memories don't last forever: He/she panics because they had forgotten something important and begin to think they have inherited Dory's short term memory problem. He/she tries to find a cure for it, talking to many mares/stallions only to find out that it is common to forget somethings. Prompt Response: ((#2)) "Good morning Dory!" Sophia called out to her grandma as she walked over to her. "Hello, my dear Sophia." Dory greeted her granddaughter with a warm smile and a pleasant tone. "How are you this morning?" Sophia smiled back at her grandma, she was excited to visit. "Who are you?" Dory looked down at Soph, confusion was in her eyes. Sophia's ears went back and she frowned at her grandma, she realized now how bad it really was, she just thought it was exaggeration. "Grandma, it is me Sophia." She introduced herself one more time before walking into the ocean. "Come play with me." Sophia begged her grandma; she wanted at least something normal to happen today. Her fears eased a little when her grandma walked into the water and began to play with her. However, in her mind, the fears continued to plague her and make her upset. Her mind’s eye went to ten years in the future and she began to see herself like Dory. Worry gripped her heard, she was also afraid of the future and who she would become. What would happen if she does become like her grandma and loses all of her memory over time? She panicked and stopped playing to stare at her grandma, Dory noticed and became angry. "What are you staring at?!" She began to yell at Sophia and then became even more upset. "Who are you?" Dory moved out of the water quickly, distancing herself from Sophia, while she just stared in horror. It didn't ease her fears at all, she felt sorry for her grandma, and wandered if there was anything she could do for her or for herself in the future. Her heart broke as she tried to imagine dealing with the memory problem; not remembering the people around you or where you were, it had to be terrifying. She wondered if it really would get worse for grandma Dory, Sophia was terribly sad and didn't want to play anymore. "I'm sorry, I was just leaving." Sophia didn't have the heart left to remind her grandma who she was again; she had bigger things to worry about. She knew she was being selfish but couldn't help it; she didn't have the patience to repeat herself over and over again to someone who just would forget again. Then she had to stop and realize just what cruel thoughts she had, it made her think that possibly everyone else would be that way towards her in the future. This made her sadness deepen more, if it was even possible; Sophia felt tears fall from her eyes and she began to cry. Grandma Dory walked over to her and tried to console her, but she didn't even know her name. "Don't cry, Sara, it will all be okay.” Dory tried to remember her granddaughter’s name but she couldn't remember to save her life, she just remembered it started with an S. This made Sophia even more upset, she ran away from her grandma and went back home to her parents. She needed to be comforted and assured that she wouldn't become like her grandma.

Name: Lolli McHotpants Soquili Owned: 21.5 Soquili Name: Felicia or Dorian(A nod to Dory.) Personality: Whether male of female, this will be a patient foal. Always quiet and understanding, he or she will want nothing more than to be the emotional support in the family. S/he won't be protective, and at first, won't even be any sort of mediator; s/he'll just always be there to lend a helping hoof and gentle ear. As s/he grows Felicia or Dorian will grow into a strong diplomat. Someone that understands the unique position they have because of the patience they've been blessed with since birth. S/he'll be gracious and regal, always there to diffuse a bad situation or help those that feel they have no voice. The downside to his or her maturing from simple "helpful patience" to "diplomat" is that s/he will adopt a definite poker face, one that results in being considered cold and distant. Even when it couldn't be furthest from the truth. Future Plots: Truthfully, I am not good at all with coming up with plots without initial RP interactions to go off of first. It could be A LOT of fun later to see Felicia/Dorian forced to lose his or her cool for the sake of standing up for a family member, possibly a sibling or other relative. Prompt Response:(I'll be playing the foal as Felicia for the sake of the prompt.) Grandma Dory. Watching the older mare splash and play with the family as though she were a foal herself had been the single most hilarious sight young Felicia had seen to date. Never had either of her parents been so carefree and acted with such wild abandon. Closing her eyes and playing over the scenes in her head brought such a grin to the foal's face, the happiness swelled throughout her body and she let it wash over her as she let her little legs fold under her and Felicia rolled onto her back to look up at the sky. It had been a marvelous day and one that had left Felicia and her siblings exhausted and sore with fun. As she gazed up at the sky the filly bit down on the inside of her cheek and chewed gingerly in thought. Her grandmother had been immense fun, there was no denying it, but playing with her had been troubling as well. The filly and her siblings had been warned by their parents that Dory was "just Dory." That there was nothing to be done about certain aspects of their grandmother, and though all of them could see the concern in their father's face as he said it they were all told to be nice and just enjoy the day. Of course they'd been told many times about their Grandma's memory problems, but they were just foals... It had naturally gone in one ear and out the other, try as they did to understand it. So it was that the more they played, and the more Dory's problem became apparent, then the more Felicia's siblings got frustrated. Indeed, even the palest of the three had felt twinges of aggravation. Twinges that were most out of character for the little one. It hadn't occured to her that it was even happening until while they were playing a game of badly decided upon Hide-and-Seek and she was forgotten about behind a large rock that Felicia even realized she was upset. Quote: Little hooves pushed sand away as she stomped, leaving holes in the ground as though well organized meteors the size of a bug had hit the world, towards the oldest mare. Eyebrows furrowed she had stopped right before her Grandmother and in the coldest of voices stated: "I hate you." Staring Dory down, well up, she glared and stomped a hoof like a spoiled child. Felicia knew deep down and hidden in her heart that it wasn't her Grandmother's fault. She knew that her Daddy had warned them all ahead of time. She even knew that fairly soon her father was going to step forward and she was going to be punished. What she didn't know was how her words could affect another, especially when that other didn't have any idea what they'd done wrong. The look on Dory's face said it all and as she looked at Felicia and adult lips started to quiver in shame and sadness, the filly's own eyes teared up. What had she done? Turning her tear streaked face towards her daddy, she walked towards him and mumbled something under her breath. "I'm a monster... Can we go home now?" Before her father could even answer, Dory was laughing and chasing after the foals again. This time, Felicia chose to sit out. As she opened her eyes again to look at the sky, her face became one of seriousness. She was never going to do that to anyone again. Felicia rolled over onto her side and with a solemn vow to herself swore that not only would she never make anyone feel that way again, but she would go the distance and help others learn from her mistake. Starting within her own family.
