Jerome could confess to not being very fond of the desert, if he really bothered to say anything about it at all. He could tolerate it, not that he really had much of any other choice, he lived in a hidden base surrounded by the ********' environment.
But, Jerome was starting to think that it was just nature in general that he wasn't really to fond of. It was hard to tell your way around, there were so many trees in this forest, not making it very easy to see though, and it wasn't like getting to the top was going to help anything. There were bugs to, always buzzing around his ears, causing him to institutionally swat at them in annoyance. <********' nature. This would teach Jerome to think it was a good idea to part the car further away from the city. But what else was he supposed to do? there were people in the aria he usually parked, who knew what kind of even they were throwing, looked like some public fare or party. It seemed to be over as he was heading back from the though, so he didn't have to worry about drawing anymore attention to himself
With his half head of dreadlocks pulled back, and tied shorter to keep them out of his way as he trudged his way through the forest, eyes scanning the aria for familiar land marks that would give some kind of clue as to where he had left the car. This would be SO much easier with Bro around, but he had left the Gangster Gangar with Izumi for a while, to entire that blond guy didn't go trying anything. So he was left looking for the car alone.

There was a droning buzzing sound coming from no particular direction, echoing off the trees, but growing ever louder. Any trainer familiar with nature would recognize said buzzing and get out of the area as soon as possible.
After passing some bush that looked just like some other bush passed earlier, because all plants really looked the same, Jerome would find a little weedle directly in his path.
"Brrrdle!"

His shoes drew quickly and lightly to a stop when he noticed the pokemon now in his way. His hands casually in his pocked, a dark eyebrow quirked at the tiny pokemon.
He didn't really have any intention on bother it. he wasn't in habit to battle wild pokemon today. he just wanted to get to the car. Taking a rout to go around the weedle, though glancing around at the new noise that seemed to be around this aria... what was that?

Not far from the weedle, hanging from a tree branch, was a kakuna, who seemed to have dropped down rather suddenly in front of Jerome's face.
"Ktch!"
And then two more dropped down, hanging from silky threads.

"WOH!" Jerome tried to jerk back in time to avoid the pokemon that had suddenly dropped down from the trees, but in avoiding the first one by jerking his head back and around, the second one that dropped down was in price position for him to bump right into.
Jerome took a quick step back, eyes wide in surprise as he started at the three wild Kakuna that dropped down. what in the world? what with all the bugs suddenly?

Whatever was with the bugs didn't seem to be getting any better, as soon after he bumped into the kakuna, the soft buzzing sound grew louder, followed by the rustling of leaves, and the appearance of large bee-like pokemon.
They didn't look too happy with the human who had unknowingly stumbled into their territory.

Yeah, okay, Jerome knew this situation, looks like he just stumbled into an aria these pokemon didn't want him, their turf, that they looked about ready to chase him off of.
"Hey hey" Jerome said, holding up two hands, and taking a few casual steps back, though not appearing to be scared, or letting his guard down. "Look, I'll leave, just cool it and I'll leave." Jerome didn't have Bro hanging around, having his back, but he did have Boss, and Turret and the Pignite was a fire type, though they were in their pokeballs right now.

"Bzz!!" Apparently that wasn't going to work- The bees were angry, and there was no talking to them when they got like that. The three Beedrill readied their stinger fists.
There was a low growl from behind Jerome.

The moment one of them moved in an aggressive manner, Jerome thrust his hand into his pocket to grab the pokeballs he was carrying in them. He had given them fare warning. he wasn't going to stand around and baby some pokemon, or try and reason with them becasue he cared, they wanted to mess with him, fine, he was going to mess right back!
slamming a foot back and giving the Beedrill a frown, only to jerk around when he heard a growl behind him. what now?

Apparently, this territory didn't actually have a definite owner. The beedrill seemed to think it was theirs, and there were those who disagreed.
Crouching behind Jerome, baring its teeth and snarling at the bug pokemon, was a huge brown Arcanine. The canine was covered in scrapes and cuts, probably from the many fights it got into with the pesky bees.
The beedrill took off, buzzing their way towards the human and the fire-type.

Oh s**t! this was much bigger then a Beedrill, and the large fire type looked pissed! Jerome didn't know what it was doing here, or who it was really growling at, but he didn't take the chance that it was him that the archanine wanted to take a chunk out of him.
Moving quickly, Jerome jumped out of the way, and backed off as fast as he could from the pokemon, wide eyes blinking in surprise.

Luckily for Jerome, the large beast wasn't after him. With a savage snarl the Arcanine clashed with one of the attacking beedrill, flames licking out from between her fangs as she sunk them into the thorax of one of the pokemon.
One of the other Beedrill turned its attentions on the human intruder, holding out its stingers and diving at him.

"Woh" Jerome jumped out of the way when the much larger dog pokemon lunged in for an attack, he didn't have much time to watch though, since he was being attacked himself.
Jerome frowned, bending his legs and watching the pokemon dive quickly in. ducking out of the way in time to avoid getting hit himself.
Alright, well, the other pokemon was a fire type, two would play at this game. Jerome had another ball in his hand by the time he straightened up again, tossing it out with a casual tossing motion of his arm.
"Pig Pig! NIIITE!" The blue pig pokemon held his arms up, flexing his arms impressively and with his last outburst jettisoned a burst of flame from his nostrils. Time to show these beedrill who was BOSS 'round here!
Boss didn't even wait for the beedrill to turn around, before he was firing his flaming attack at the wild bug.
