The obstacle course had... gone well. Oddly, at the end, but well, in the hunchback's opinion.
No one had died or been horribly dismembered too badly, save for the dragon but well... yes, it had gone well. He even got to help out in his own small way. The wet T-shirt contest had certainly been his highlight. He stood back from the now mostly deserted course with a look of pride. He hoped Miss Pepin had gotten a few pictures (uncorrupted) of the thing. It was a shame he had to tear it down. Destruction was a very enjoyable part of construction, though.
He pulled a pair of wrenches from his pocket to try to twirl them around his fingers like a gun-slinger about to face his opponent- the effect was ruined as he stumbled with one and dropped the other in the process of trying to catch the first.
Right. Dismantling. Glancing around to make sure no one saw his fumble, he slunk forward to Finish The Task At Hand. A bolt here, a screw there, it slowly crumbled, the parts set aside in anally labeled baggies and strategic areas. He should probably figure out where it would all be stored. Maybe Mr. Breck had a spare shed somewhere? A warehouse would be more like it. Hmmm....

Freya had won All The Things.
Okay, so technically she hadn't actually won anything. The faerie had beaten her all over the place. But she liked to make believe she had made Terror Warrior her little b***h, and when she started to jog away from the crime scene, she made sure to think such.
Oh, but she paused when she saw the hunch of her Second Friend Ever, and his helpful little ways. He looked strong, and he was clearly in charge of doing the grunt work!
... Perfect!
"HALLO, FRIEND!" Freya backtracked, bumping into Christof as she reached him. "What a great event yeh all rans, I had so much funs!" She reached out and helped him dismantle a bar, but that much help was.. probably all he was going to see from the ghoul.
"Say, friend! When I comes to school, they made me signs a lot of forms. One of them says we are going on a field trips soon, ja? Will yeh lets me come along with yeh? I don't knows anyone but my sister, and she already has a full group!" She gave her best, prettiest little puppy dog eyes. "Will you let me tag along with yeh, friend?"

Christof nearly dropped the bar, but thankfully the Valkyrie was there to catch it. Wait... what was...? Oh! He listened carefully, trying to push through the accent to try to scramble onto the same page as the ghoul.
Join... his group? He knew he would be going with Master Barth and Calder but... he had been hoping to invite... certain someone else into the open slots. But... well... there still would be one slot left, right? He could still offer? Would it be impolite to refuse her?
Judging by the look on her face, it would be more difficult than he had hoped. His lips twisted anxiously before slowly nodding. It wasn't technically his place to allow or disallow people to join them... but...
Oh Hell's Bells she was a new student, that was right. She had never been on a field trip before. An anxious noise escaped his throat. Had anyone... told her? Warned her?
Watching her carefully, he set his tools down to fish in his coat pocket for his note paper, scribbling out quickly:
Going on field trip?
Already agreed?
Still weak. Need more
schooling. Should not
go. Dangerous.

He nodded, and that was all Freya needed. So she obviously stopped helping, and just stood there. "Excellent!" She fisted in victory, but her hand froze there when she saw him try to take something out of his pocket. Was he writing her a letter?
She read it even as he wrote it, and as soon as she saw the word weak, her blood boiled.
"HAH!" She barked out, smacking him right on the back. "Did I not already proves myself in yehr games here? Did I not beats all the obstacles, and go against yehr silly shrouded mans? Me? Weak? ME? HAH!"
She took a step back, and looked like she was getting in a fighting stance.
"I'll takes yeh on right now, friend! Brings yeh down and shows yeh that Freya's an asset to yehr groups!"

Christof snorted at the sudden blow to his back, brows furrowed as he watched the winged girl, lips pursed. Maybe a field trip was what she needed.
He returned to the notebook even as she waggled her fists at him, writing carefully before turning it for her to read:
Not polite to hit ghouls.
Will babysit you if necessary.
Mistress had already had many Words with him about that. Although he was wondering if she would make an exception if one came LOOKING for a fight...

She leaned in, read the note, and her eyes widened.
"BABYSIT!?!?"
Her voice rang out so loud, she could hear it vibrating through the empty hull of half-assembled obstacles.
"Yeh are cheeky little boil. Yeh lucky I likes that, but still. Watch yehr mouth. I can takes cares of myself." She took the note he'd written, ripped it up into a lot of pieces, and rained it down from his head. It seemed malicious, but as soon as she was done, she grinned that brilliant grin.
"Okay, I will sees you then!" She chirped, gave him a great big hug, and hopped off to her dorm.
