Classroom Professor: (Current) Barney Namakemono Barney is the professor for the Strike Team Pre-emptive class. He isn't well liked by his peers, and some look down on him because he originally started off as a member of the Tactic team. It was the fact that he had a violent temper and a bad habits of drinking and getting into brawls that convinced the Tactics team that he was better off on the Strike Team. He has since gotten off the liquor, but, that doesn't mean that his bad habit hasn't come back to hunt him. His starting pokemon ...a Totodile named Buzz seem to have grown quite attach to the drink and woe betide anyone that gets between him and his bottle. Surviving students:Raven Illiaster Pheonix

Sadie entered the room with her normal swagger, she looked around and thought to herself, Why so many bottles of alcohol? She walked a little further into the place and called out "Anyone here? I am here for my assignment." Sadie walked to the center of the room where she would wait for a response. She thought more and was soon lost in her thoughts. She was thinking of how she could impress her professor before she even left for the mission. Her mind distracted for the moment would regester a clincking as bottles tumble over the floor and sounds came to her ears that sounded like pokemon cries only slurred.

Buzz tumbled from underneath the teacher's desk as he rolled to a stop, and then tried to stand back up. The hiccup that escape his lips were loud, and his balance was completely off as he went over backwards in a roll once more. His trainer simply watches his antics with a loud sigh.
Professor Barney ...peered at the girl as he sighs lightly.
"Welcome to the strike class." "Ignore the Totodile ...he doesn't bite, unless he is really plastered, which is he is today." "So, if you want all of your body parts I would stay away from him."
"Anyway, my name is Barney, but I guess that Professor Barney to you." "So, who are you exactly?"
The man asks.
"And don't just give me your name, but tell me exactly what you are all about." "I don't have time to waste on children trying to find themselves here."

Sadie looked at the man,"My name is unimportant, but if you insist it is Sadie, and what I am all about is getting stronger and becomeing the strongest trainer." Sadie didnt show emotion but she did care if the man liked her or not, it wouldnt do to make an enemy of the professor. She looked at the man and thought how drunk he looked even if he wasnt. "If you dont mind me being blunt but could we get on with my assignment" She was being herself which did tend to annouy many people. She was ready to prove herself to her professor.

"Get on with your assignment?"
He looked slightly confused at her words as the Totodile gave a burp and then slump over to one side as the roll end. The pokemon quite promptly fell asleep as the man waves one hand in a way that said he was the type that was used to thinking with his hands.
"Oh, you mean what is your first lesson." "Well, I don't know ...I haven't really gotten that far with scheduling your class or anything like that." "Since, that sort of thing tends to come after getting to know your Professor."
"Though, since you don't give a flick about me ..I guess I can start you with gathering the item you will need for your contraption for this class." "Now, the item itself is called a Rare Bone."
"So, I need you to go to the Island of Beginning and get one." "Also,"
Barney would carelessly toss it towards the girl. Three pokeballs would land either in her hands if she managed to catch all three or on the floor as he sat down and lend back in his chair.
"You also have the secondary mission of trying to capture another pokemon for your team." "You don't need to be a tactical genius to figure out that the only way you can push forward is if you have more than one pokemon to do the pushing."
"And, since you are so eager to start simply go the Pokemon center and catch the boat there."
"There you have your assignment ...begone."
The man actually growls at her. If she wanted it short and sweet, then that is what she was going to get from him.

The door would swing open gently as a boy, darkly clad in every way save for his cloak the colour of flame. Wordlessly the boy entered the room, taking a position near the middle of the room on the side closest to the doors. There was something defensive about the child's posture, as if he expected to be attack at any second...or was simply prepared to be.
Left hand resting on the hilt of his sword, the boy's eyes slowly scanned the room, taking in the positions of another student, and one he assume was his Professor. Like with the Poke-lot attendant before, the child said nothing, there were particularly few reasons he would be here, and he expected the elder man in charge could quite easily divine the purpose for his presence.
It would seem the man would be attaining several students whom didn't waste time on extra words.

Coming in quietly and standing there ....for some reason there was students that believed that professor would go out of their way to attend to their wants or needs. Professor Barney could already guess that was probably an air of superiority that came with such a stance, and giving that he was being quiet the other student had her assignment ...he was given a third option.
Ignore the silent one as he walks away from her ...going to retrieve one more item as he toss a potion her way after the pokeballs. His Totodile snoring as he would go to collect him ...the man's eyes never once falling on the boy since he found quite easily that if he ignored him he could be lazy. He wouldn't have to give any instructions if the student said nothing ..he could always pretend he hadn't noticed him as he went to his computer and quite literally got on the internet ...as he drops the unconscious Totodile on the floor.
How ever long Raven choose to stay quiet was how long he would be ignored. THis wasn't the proactive professor he might have thought him to be.

Raven's eyes narrowed, and he immediately sighed. So this man was one of those types...how such a person became stronger, more so became a Professor was beyond him. Swift and forceful action would do him no good. If this man was expected to teach he was almost certainly stronger then his students...at least for the time being.
Despite what one might have gleamed from the boy's demeanor, he was neither prideful, nor did he feel himself superior to anyone unless proven otherwise. The stance was simply a by product of living on the streets; life could be rather harsh depending on where you were, and for a time there had always been the threat of wild Pokemon wandering the alleys in search of easy pray.
Boots clacking against the floor, Raven strode over to the Professor's position "Excuse me, you are the Professor correct?" He asked, tone oddly polite as he addressed the man.

"Yes, and you are a student."
The man declares without looking up from the computer. He knew the game and could play it just as well. A few words here, a few words there ....and then he sighed.
He was slipping back to tactics again. It didn't matter here, he didn't have to cover his a** every time he said or thought something. This wasn't the type of student who was trying to analyze him for weakness so he sighed openly again. Then he turned a bright smile on the boy.
"Welcome to the Strike team."
He actually turn the chair around to face Raven.
"My name is Professor Barney, and I am in charge of this class." "So, who exactly are you, and why are you bothering with this class?"
Two questions that he found very important to get out of the way. He was in the strike team so there wasn't a lot of beating around the bush in this sort of a class, but he needed to still find out what the student felt they needed so he could somehow in the future perhaps accomplish them.

Raven took a step back from the man, allowing himself proper space for his next motion. Based almost entirely on reflex he bowed to the Professor, dropping only low enough to show respect to someone of superior rank, no more and no less. The proper height of a bow was a much trickier thing then most knew. Too low and you were subservient, too high and you were disrespectful.
"My name is Raven Illiaster F...Phoenix" He stumbled slightly as he said his name, having just barely caught himself about to speak his former family name. Lucky that the first sound of both sounded quite similar. Without skipping a beat, he moved on to answer the Professor's question "What I seek by my presence here is simple...basic even...Strength. True Strength" He stated, stressing that the last two words.
The boy moved to his previous position, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword "The nobility of this age has grown fat and weak, leeching off the power of their ancestors. Too many of the lower class are content to remain under someones thumb because it is the simpler path to follow" Raven continued, his crimson eyes seeming to blaze as he spoke "I do not seek shortcuts by they chemical, mechanical, or even magical. True Strength is not simply obtained, it is earned through blood, sweat, and pain. It is only through trials that one can gain such power, because it is with those trials they gain the ability to appreciate it for what it truly is."
"A very long time ago my ancestor worked for the Organization, and through it he gain such strength. I have come here in hopes of doing the same" The young trainer at last finished, conviction strong in his voice. Perhaps his answer had been more detailed then the Professor might find necessary, but to Raven it was. He wanted his intentions to be clear. Power was his goal, real power earned by his own hand, and nothing less.

"SO, let me get this straight, you want to change yourself and not the world around you?" "If you choose to change the world, then you are in the right place, and if you choose to change yourself ...this is still the right place."
"I will ask both of you, and whether you survive or not will be up to your conviction."
Professor Barney declares lightly.
"I lost mine, but then again ...I think I was in the wrong place at first." "I wasn't meant to hide behind doors, or sit at a safe distances and watch those that I lead die before me." "I joined the academy to make a differences, and in the end ...I had to change classes to even get my start."
"This is why I teach."
He declares giving back what he had asked. His reason for the boy's as he takes three pokeballs and one potion and hands it to him.
"Though, to achieve your dream you need more strength then you have now." "I can give you that, but you will have to earn my support." "So, I am sending you to beginner island, you are to capture another pokemon from your group ...that is a given, but in order to gain strength of your own ....you must also find a rare bone and bring it back here."
The man declares with a smirk.
"So, that is your first assignment." "To get to Beginner Island, head to the pokemon center and simply go to the back of the center. Take the stairs to the bottom, there should be boats at the pier with pokemon that will take you there."
"Good luck."
IT was a formal dismissal as Barney seemed to have said quite a bit for a change.

"Be it myself or the world around me, change is inevitable no matter the goal. All that matters is not to lose sight of it in the shuffle" Responded calmly as he took the balls and the potion, unhooking something from the back of his belt with the other hand. It looked somewhat like an old burlap sack, one which could have easily held vegetation of some sort in the past; for now, the boy placed the items into it, and returned it to the position it held beneath his cloak.
He'd not had the coin for a proper bag after the purchase of his clothes, and in truth he could not think of anything beyond the sack he now carried which wouldn't simply get in the way.
Bowing faintly, he made his way toward the door, and from their his true destination.

"You smell like wet dog" "> I am a wet dog <"
Crimson and Impromptu argued as they walked down the hall, the Growlithe not too pleased about the fact he was pushed into a pond. Crimson, however, was still grinning from the whole thing, at had been pretty funny...
She was dragging a rather festive looking Keldeo pinata behind her, and just as they approached the door she stopped. "Impro, start working on getting the door open while I get in this thing~" she'd been waiting to try this trick for awhile, and she opened up the top as she started to get in the giant, rather cramped pinata. The Growlithe jumped and turned the handle, pushing the door open just as Crimson finished getting in and closed the top of the Pinata.
"Pssst. Push me in" she whispered from inside the pinata. Impromptu looked determined as he grabbed the rope on the pinata, pulling it as hard as he could...to no avail. He got behind the pinata and pushed it with his head, it went forwards a few inches before he flopped down on the ground, tired. Close enough, at least she was in.
There was a post-it on the pinata with a match taped to it. The note read "light me up like a candle <3" and one could only guess that she wanted him to light the pinata on fire...weather or not he would do it, that was his choice.

There would have taken quite a bit of luck in her being found by her Professor. The man in question was currently working in the back lab ....as his drunk Totodile stumbled about. The pokemon's eyes were half closed and he hiccuped as he walks as he notices the Growlithe, and actually stumbles over the pokemon. Squinting as if he was trying to see what was in front of him ....he hiccuped one more time and then turned to the pinata.
A smile crossed his face ....as he quite literally lifted one leg and started to piss on the thing's side.
Once he was done he stopped and sniffed it just to make sure that it smelt like him before walking back into the middle of the room. A pinata smelled the same to him as wood, since the inner part was made of cardboard. And since it was some strange ...unneutered fire type male in the room ...he made sure he had marked his territory well.
This was his area ....as he hiccups again as the Professor came out of the back. A smile was on his face, until he got a whiff of that acid like smell. He screw up his nose as he notices the Growlithe, and immediately he would growl at him.
"BAD GROWLITHE BAD!"
He would reach to grab the pokemon and put him out of the room ....with the guess that he was classroom wetter.
