Heres a question to the whole of Gamer Girls: What is your favorite "Classic" game? I dont mean classic like its the first of its kind, I mean Super Classic, NES era, the GameBoy brick games, and the really oldschool Atari stuff. Classic like the Donkey Kong Arcade. Twin Bee on the FamiCom would be my classic of choice. Probably one of the first games besides Super Mario that opened my eyes to the world of gaming(My passion for gaming lied dormant until about senior highschool). I remember how me and my friend used to suck so horribly at the game. We would seldom make it to the second boss. Making the third stage in itself was a miracle. Despite this, it was a game that holds a lot of nostalgic value with me.

I was brought into the light by an old (even when I was tiny!) Atari cabinet: Battlefeild. It was in the local barbershop, and I swear I asked for haircuts just to go by. I had to get a really tall stool just to reach the controls. But the vector graphics and tactics amazed me. A little later I got my NES. I still have it. xd

My favorite classic game is one I doubt many people even know or remember these days. Old school NES game Willow, lol. I miss that game... Other then that it's classic old school Mario Bros.

Ok, heres a challenge. Go dust off your NES, Gameboy, or fire up a emulator. Plug in the original Metroid. Set a timer. Beat it as fast as you can. Post your time here. Winner gets a small prize next week.
Quote this post and format it: -System played on -Time (from when you gain control to the final cutscene start) -Missles Collected -E. Tanks collected
Cheat and I'll know.

Pokemon Red, Castlevania, and Mario and the 6 Golden Coins are my personal faves. I grew up playing them back when i wasn't even 5. The original pac man, tekken, and dead or alive are also on that list

The Legend Of Zelda was a complete breakthrough game for me. After this game I suddenly wanted to stay home with the boys and game all day. I have been a hardcore gamer since I was 7 years old. I honestly think I always will be, even if life gets in the way. I will ALWAYS make time for video games. heart
Lets see.... The Harvest Moon on 64 is great. I also had lots of fun in Doom. I can't even count to hours I spent playing the original Pokemon Games I am also a huge fan of Advanced Wars. *sigh* There are just SO many to choose from!
