* ~:: Sand Trap - The Infamous Amago Haruhisa Incident ::~ *
(Location - Yasogami High School - Club Buildings)

Cold Afternoon, June 26th, 2012. Yasogami Club Buildings - Second Floor (Dark Hall/Rooms).

User Image

In the Club Building of the School the search of the Amago Party for Minori Koroko continues; in the second floor of the Club Building the lights have inexplicably turned off and an eerie feeling passes over those who venture into the corridors there. An evil is at work there, something supernatural that draws the ire of fiends and riles the spirits which wander inside there. Those students who enter here will inevitably feel a ghoulish call to the other side, an unnatural chill running down their spine.

This has become the lair of the Necromantic Samurai Harumasa Nanbu, returned from the Netherworld to settle his own scores...

This is the Tale of the Infamous Amago Haruhisa Incident! ...Um, how did it go again?

Eido felt a shiver down his spine as he walked down the club rooms, expecting to be able to catch some of the girls still in those uniforms or something from gym. But Nooooooo.

Instead, he just found an eerie looking area, instead, with no hot babes. Seriously? He'd heard bits and pieces of the announcement, but tuned it out like most of the announcements. He was ultimately unaware that the girl they wanted was the same one that he had talked to mere hours ago, much less that a girl was being looked for at all..

Wearing his gloves and Bandanna to try to look cool, he started around, moving sneakily at first, before giving it up. It was so dark...so quiet..... Ugh!! It was really fricking creepy around here.
"Hello...?" he called, looking around for someone else. Anyone..really.

"Yo."
Called out a voice from the darkness, he tried not to say it so suddenly so he wouldn't scare the pervert, and from the darkness there was a light patter of footsteps before the junior emerged from the shadows. It was a little bit frustrating really, to know that right after a night of extremely scary battles to creepy houses, this definently wasn't Allen's week.Or anyone's really, almost everyday in Inaba brought hell, misfortune,or some other supernatural mystery. He wondered if he will ever get sick of the non-stop action.
"So, I reckon you don't have any idea what's going on do you?" Asked Allen in an uneasy voice. The air itself felt like it was breathing down Allen's neck, watching them, listening to their words, waiting. The enviorment was so haunting that the both of them might as well have been thrown into a scary movie with cliche ghost girls with long white gowns and black stringy hair hanging sinisterly in front of their faces.

There were no dark colored people, so they didn't know who exactly was going to die first, and there was also nobody making love at the moment (which somehow cues serial killers to kill the couple in the midst of the action), so for now they were safe. The dark haired junior couldn't help but feel an ominous chill go down his back, something definently wasn't right.

Harumasa Nanbu, Necromancer of the North

Dark and quiet were the corridors, and cold upon the skin of those who had dared to tread upon its tiles. All of a sudden the bustling, life-filled club building had become a fearsome, shadowy lair for all who came to endure a treacherous gauntlet should they desire to escape with their lives. They had been told to enter the soccer field and wait peacefully for this event to be over, but if they had disobeyed and come out to this building to hide or worse, escape through some unknown passage, they would have earned the frightful experience that they were due to endure. Even the light from the outside seemed dimmed by some unknown force, and as those who wandered in let their voices be heard, no living voices answered...though ghostly whispers upon the air spoke back to them, silent screams, cries, 'Help!' they called, sobbing in a room here and there, as though the building had been transformed into a nest for spirits. And silent eyes in the far end of the corridor, white and watching, observed their every move from his hidden space. A cold wind like a breath whispered in their ears, blowing softly and then violently, words being carried across as the rooms around them began to clatter violently.

"Whyyyy have you come heeere?" the voice whispered, deep and raspy, as though croaking out some years of disuse...or death...the chill deepened and the doors to all the clubs suddenly began to open and slide closed, slamming wildly with no human hands to open them...and from the insides of the rooms came a low moaning, whispers of a ghostly terror, and a dull rattling...something was coming, something terrible, "Whyyyy do you disturb the soooouls of the deaaad? ...Do you wissshhhh to join them?"

A shiver went up Eido's spine as a figure emerged from the darkness, along with a fitting "Eep."
Upon seeing who it was though, he laxed. It was no zombie or vampire or otherworldly being come to devour him first! Comic Relief is always the first to go!!!!
"Not a clue." he added, sticking close to Allen, in hopes that the otherworldy forces would take him instead. He looked around, hearing voices, and seeing it being oh so dark. Oh why oh why was it so...
"ASFGAHSHTIAHHHHHH!" was about what the sound coming from Eido's mouth at the sudden change in the livelyhood of the room. Doors, slamming. Moaning, whispers, rattling. "OhgodohgodOhGodOHGOD"

When the room suddenly filled with haunting life, Allen reaction was similar to a cat seeing something startling, with it's fur on it's back rising up as it flinched away, except Allen didn't really have any fur. He felt trapped, and surrounded as all around them the walls themselves moaned and cried out hauntingly. As Eido did back flips as the doors slammed and opened and moans echoed throughout the place, Allen gave a firm slap to Eido's face before he became hysterical, "Get a hold of yourself man!"
What was happening now was thankfully a little bit less intense then what happened in the hall of mirrors in Zazi's funhouse. Zazi was focused on their inner fears rather than doing the Paranormal Activity 1/2/3/and whatever more franchises the popular movie was ever going to make. Thus, Allen was able to control his fear a tad bit more than usual.

Of course, that didn't mean his heart was pounding in his chest and that he wanted to run away, but really... how could you run away from something you couldn't see? Clearing his throat and not letting any signs of fear seep through, Allen replied back in an almost casual tone. He has seen way too many movies when the guy wasn't very polite with the ghost, and didn't end things well. But maybe if Allen kept his sarcastic manner from controlling his words and keeping manners and courage first, things might turn out okay in the end.
"Well, I had this feeling that I had to come here, it's hard to describe really, but in the midst of the chaos I just had this impulse to sneak in here. The better question is... what are you doing here?"
Allen had to clench his fists to keep his head, he couldn't fly off the handle and let fear get to his head, that was most likely something this... this thing they were facing was trying to achieve. His head turned quickly to the sound of rattling as he heard something come, and he couldn't deny the fact that he was dead scared, and that he just wanted to hide in a corner and hope everything would be okay. A hand went to his pocket that held his evoker, he was ready for what whatever was coming, and if Eido was a normie, he could just knock him out or something and explain that it was a dream.
Yeah, that was totally gonna work.
in his head, he repeated over and over again, 'Stand your ground, stand your ground, stand your ground!' As it felt like there was something arriving, Allen tensed up, ready for any surprise attacks by some overly powerful all knowing... Grudge... doll... demon thing? Whatever it was, it definitively felt evil.
"No I totally do not wish to join the dead people, and we didn't disturb all of you on purpose if that is what you are possibly implying." Replied Allen to the evil-thing-a-ma-jig's second question. Or was that his third...?

Somehow their responses didn't seem to calm the strange, supernatural happenings all around them, and all the slamming and banging became wilder and more violent, the rustling footsteps from inside each room drawing closer and closer, eerie blue lights like will-o-wisps floating towards the hallway and giving a dim glow to the area. Still watching from the shadows, the man behind the phenomenon saw the worry and the fear in the eyes of the gathered duo with an impassive sort of expression. They had never done anything to him personally, but this was the duty he was resigned to, his task to allow him to settle his own scores. And so the whistling and the distant, ghostly calls continued as a rattle in each room suddenly slammed the doors open...heavy metal footsteps tread heavily into the hall, as the will-o-wisps appeared in the form of large, armored samurai with spears that barely scraped the tops of the hallway...there must have been at least ten of them, their eyes hidden by wide-rimmed rice hats, blue and ominous, and the spears lowered all at once in the direction of the 'intruders'. Their bodies appeared like ghostly apparitions, but the scrape of the metal spears and the clinking of their armor sounded perfectly real. Which were they? Intangible spirits? Risen bodies to be stricken back down to their graves?

"The spirits of the Netherwoooorld...HUNGER...for the deaaad," the deep voice continued to speak, distant, echoing, like a spirit itself...not as much taunting as it was menacing. And as his words the spirits began to march down the hall in a slow, steady pace, their spears lit dangerously by the dim azure light...closing in on them...soon to strike. The walls began to scream and the doors slammed open and shut again, the wind whistled...

The grip on his evoker went tighter and tighter as their surroundings became more violent, things were starting to look bad. For a second the eyepatched junior was at a loss for words. He didn't really know how to exactly answer back. Okay, so far, they weren't really injured by this ghost thing, so they were all kinda good. Until he heard a strange scraping metal sound, a shape caught his eye that made him turn, letting out a gasp as he saw the samurai with their spears.
Okay, so now they definently might get hurt if Allen didn't do something, for a moment he hesitated and his body froze. Would Eido have a big mouth and tell someone? The sound of footsteps were starting to make Allen go on the verge of panic.
Clank, clank, clank.
But maybe he would keep this a secret...
Clank, clank, clank.
Of course he could always knock him out, but he could accidently injure the pervert some how.
Clank, clank, clank.
He looked over to Eido to see if he was going to panic even more, he was about to let go of the evoker in his pocket before he heard Momus shout out to his mind. 'Just do it you indecisive little twit!'
Allen was going to do a little talking to Eido after this, or somehow he could trick him into thinking he was on drugs or knock him out and pretend it was a dream.

"Momus, strike them down!"

A hand shot out of his pocket that was holding a silver gun, immediately aiming it to his temple, he squeezed the trigger. Head flinching to the side as the sound of shattering glass resonated through the room. Like always, a strange sinister looking being materialized over Allen in a graceful and showy twirl, before sending an almighty attack at all of the samurai thingies. Oh please let everything be alright in the end.

"I hope the others are okay." Determined light blue eyes peered around the corner as the wind rattled the lockers in the hallway again, an unrealistically dark air about the entire club building. When lunch had come, he decided to practice in the Drama Club's room so he could have some peace and quiet, but instead he'd only succeeded in avoiding the sand tentacles that grabbed a number of classmates back in the main building. While he didn't know exactly what was going on since he hadn't heard the declaration of Amago himself, he had a pretty good idea that this place was under someone's control when the lights had started going out one by one, and now there was the unnatural draft of air. His suspicions were finally confirmed when he heard someone yelling nearby, probably on the floor below his (he had went to the second floor in hopes of finding the culprit), and Gin's eyes narrowed when he realized who that had been. "Allen!" In mere seconds his hand shot out onto the banister, and Gin had jumped over the railing and down the flight of stairs, landing and shifting quickly down to the main floor as a sickly, pale blue light caught his eye. For someone who seemed to be so afraid of the atmosphere, Allen had quite the way to add to it... a pale blue light, like that of will o' wisps, looked exactly like the megido spell's excess energy. "Are you guys alright?" Gin strafed towards Eido, making sure he hadn't been hit while he was busy losing his cool.

Eido's expression expressed pure panic at the sudden activity, with all of the will-o-wisps, and the armored Samurai guys. What the hell was going on?! As the burst of Energy went to crash over them, and someone else joined them, Eido paused a bit, before nodding firmly.
"Yeah, I'm fine." he called, biting his thumb as he readied his fists in a sort of boxing stance. The gloves on his hands painted with the lightning bolt.

One would be surprised at how quickly he flipped his switch, but if one could see inside his head, they would be sure of one thing. He wasn't being brave. He was delusional.
"Alright, Show yourself you Old....geezer...moaner guy. I'll take on your spirits or whatever! In the name of Thunder Punch Eido Aeroda, I challenge you!!!"

Yeah, that's the way to be. This is my dream. It's gotta be a dream. Why else would someone be summoning up balls of energy just by shooting themselves in the head? Clearly this was supposed to be some kind of nightmare....and as such, he was now going to be able to dominate it. There's no way this was real......right?

Lady Oichi

User Image

Shadows morphing and growing snared around the corners, an eerie, static sound echoing through the hallways as claws of the deepest black pushed forwards from the abyss itself, dragging a figure along, pulling her to her feet, like a puppet being set into stage. The woman, dressed in pink and black armor, seemed to be able to barely stand on her own, her head always tilted to her side, her stance languid...almost as if broken. Deep, dark eyes seemed to be always watery, a silent agony hidden behind them; same with the perpetual frown and pained look on her features. It was an extremely pitiful sight...a soul as sorrowful as the ones brought back by the Necromancer. Lady Oichi, sister of the Demon King...left alone to wander on this cruel world... How long had it been? How long had she aimlessly walked after her Lord Nagamasa's death? How long had she suffered on her own, but not entirely, as the darkest voices and claws scratched inside of her mind...calling...beckoning? She didn't know... but finally, she had been given purpose again. She wasn't alone anymore. She had the Avengers now...they had helped Ichi when she needed it the most...and for that she was eternally grateful...happy even. She could show them how hard Ichi could work...how useful Ichi could be...If only, she wouldn't be left alone again. Not again.

"You...must stop this...Harumasa Nanbu..." her voice was nothing but a weak whisper, voided of any feeling other than the suffering and turmoil that filled her unstable mind. "And you...," the ebony haired woman continued in her soft voice, almost as if she were lost in a dream...or perhaps a nightmare, sorrowful eyes turning to the students that had been dragged into all of this unknowingly. "Escape from here...Ichi will...Ichi will stop him, for those are her orders..." And like the good girl she was, she would complete them without fail...she would protect this place. She didn't turn to them again, her body weakly returning to face the small army of reawakened dead...and their hidden puppeteer. The purpleish dark aura around her stirred angrily, appendages and claws searching...stretching...almost as though moving by their own will.

Lord Nagamasa...are you there? Are you...looking at Ichi? Are you proud of her...?

Harumasa Nanbu, Necromancer of the North

Hit with the power of an almighty spell, the samurai were knocked to the floor viciously, their skeletal bodies clattering noisily on the eerie, quiet floor as did their spears; the light in their bodies began to drift upward and out of the shells that housed them...and yet the eyes beyond them seemed to narrow and glow, the blue light drifting back down until they were housed inside the chests of the skeletal samurai once more, their broken and rotted bodies lifting back from the floor to their feet, snapping into place their wrecked appendages...it would take more than a little magic to stop them, their shambling feet already starting to march back down the hall at them, the breath of the dark warrior guiding them like a cold chill in the corridor, down all of their necks. Or was it...? No, that wasn't him...the sudden swelling of darkness, the quiet footsteps, drifting, wavering like some strange, barely-lucid thing down the length of the wooden hall. It was not him whose very presence had just chilled their spines, nor his own power that had sent an unpleasant shiver up his own. Of all the families in all the history of this country, there were few who could put a fright into the likes of a Nanbu, and yet this one had managed to do so...which meant that there was only one thing that could be true. Ghostly appendages reached down the hall, scraping, crawling along the walls at him...his intent to take things slow was now gone, the unfamiliar hint of panic in his heart having risen. ...After all, something much darker and dreadful than his dead had come stumbling into these halls now. Something sorrowful and broken, that would make even the demons weep.

"Demon Queen...Oichi of the Demon King's blood...what foul wind has brought you here. Were there warmth within these bones to chill, you might have already stolen it away," his deep, raspy voice could not betray the sudden unpleasantness inside of it, the very first hints of fear...for while he could give rise to creatures from the dark, it was the very dark which moved of its own volition to assist this woman, until her task was done, "Return to the netherworld, wretched thing...be free of your despair...and reunite yourself with that which you have lost." Recovered somewhat (but perhaps still a bit panicked), the samurai made his move. His shambling skeletons all lowered their spears in a single moment as Oichi stepped into the front of the battle, and with a great rush forward they all thrust their spears at the woman and her companions that remained. He could not risk her getting close...not with those hands...not with those cold, black hands risen from the very world as if to exact his judgment for tampering with the darkness!

Allen did a small fist pump of success to himself as the skeletal samurai crashed to the floor, he was watching to see their next move before he heard a familiar voice calling out his name. "Gin?"
And Allen's assumption was correct as he saw the singer come towards them asking if they were okay. "I guess I'm okay... so far." And suddenly, he froze. The hair on the back of Allen's neck stood on end as he heard a strange sound, static, something unnatural. Before he realized it, there was a sad looking young woman that entered the battle, with evil looking hands. The first thought Allen had was that she was on the ghost dude's side, but as she spoke in her soft tone, there was something that told Allen that she wasn't evil at all. Allen was looking for the right words to reply to the woman's command, but paused as Harumasa replied to the woman in his haunting voice. But was that a small change in his tone Allen notcied?

As Harumasa identified the woman as Oichi of the Demon king, it rung a bell in Allen's head. He dug through information in his mind as he thought of all the things he learned from some book he read out of boredom. Oichi...

Oichi... the sister of Nobunaga! And widow of... Nagamasa Azai?
So these were warriors of history Allen was fighting against, and might possibly be fighting with. Meh. Not really much of a big deal right now.
When Oichi spoke to them, the junior shook his head as Oichi ordered him and the others to escape, he had other ideas in mind. "Lady Oichi, I shall not run away now, I'm going to fight with you whether you like it... or not."
The sadness in Oichii reminded Allen of himself just a few months ago, as he was going through an incredibly depressed and emo phase after Yoshizo killed Chihiro. Luckily, the people around him was finally able to melt the sad distant look on his face, it would be just as nice to see the poor young widow smile too.

With that thought, Allen blinked as his eyes turned from green into a bright purple that shone in the dark, and a purple flame burning on his forehead illuminating the space around him like a lamp. His reason burning just as brightly as his strengthened will. Whenever Allen had a strong motivation, resolve, or emotion, his reason activated by itself like a switch, now it was time to put it to good use.

As one of the skeletal soldiers charged at Allen, he was quick enough to almost dodge the attack, but it grazed the side of his ribs and made Allen lose his breath for a second in surprise. Allen let a finger touch where he was wounded, feeling something cold and sticky on his skin. And with no warning, a stinging pain shot from the injury making Allen tense up in pain. "D... dammit..." Allen was poisoned, and it hurt like a b***h. It was hard to ignore the pain that was stinging like hell on the side of his ribs, but he managed to aim his evoker at his head again as the flame on his head burned more brightly.

"Persona!"

Glass shatter sound, head flinching to the side, the usual happened as Allen summoned his inner self. Rising above him for a moment, Momus suddenly sent dark energy at the feet of Allen, a hand went inside, and pulled out a sweet black and purple guitar that crackled with dark energy. "It will be my pleasure to help, Lady Oichi!" Enthusiasm radiated from Allen as he played one loud booming note that made the floor vibrate, and suddenly Allen's fingers danced to and fro on the guitar strum and strings as Allen played a beautiful solo, then strumming it rather strongly as he sent a wave of crackling black energy of darkness at the samurai that grazed him with his Poison skewer.

Lady Oichi

“That which I’ve lost…” Her eyes were covered by a painful shadow at the words and memories it brought back, her mind wandering into its darkest corners, leaving behind everything for a short moment. Flashes of recollections flickered inside of her head...memories of both her lives, of both times where everything had been snatched away from her. Her knees were close to buckling under her weight, and she was only kept in place by the dark claws that held unto her arms. But finally, she shook her head, black eyes returning to the army of the undead in front of her. “I can’t leave yet because…I have a purpose now…” the woman answered slowly, her hands moving over to press against her chest, eyes lowering sadly. As much as she wanted to be reunited with Lord Nagamasa…as much as she wanted to disappear into the abyss and finally sleep… she still was in debt with Tatsuya Suou…with all the others that took her in, the ones that had gave her life some kind of reason.

Her movements seemed hesitant, the dark haired woman not one to choose battle instead of any other mean, or at least not on her own, and having hoped, that this time…this man would listen to her and leave her do what she needed to do…but still, the moment the skeletal figures moved towards her, Oichi lifted her arm without any force, the shadow hands shooting up viciously against the skeletons, swatting them away like little flies. It wouldn’t be enough to stop them, she knew…but at least it would give time to the students to move back. Or…stay and fight, like Allen had chosen to. Deep, dark eyes fell on the boy, her gaze clouded, and if she was really looking at him or something from her own broken imagination it was impossible to tell. “Does it hurt little bird? Did that monster hurt you? … … That’s why you should have flown away… But no matter, blackbird… he won’t hurt you anymore…” Voice turning heavier at the end, the woman turned back to the battle, this time something else on her eyes…something demonic, even.

Things were only getting stranger now that he'd found the others, but even as the men in heavy armor came rushing at the group Gin took another minute to pause, looking over at the young girl who'd intervened for her sake. Although he knew that they should keep their mind on the battle, something about her was alluring, as if the sorrow the girl felt compelled his own heart to feel a bit of the burden too. It wasn't as naive as love at first sight, but something a bit more realistic... like a feeling of guilt for whatever had distorted such a young and innocent girl, even if he hadn't been personally responsible. If he ran away now to hide behind someone who continued fighting even with circumstances like that, whatever they might have been, Gin doubted he could look at himself in a mirror ever again. Especially when she reminded him so much of a certain silver haired 'Big Bro' that Nanako spoke so highly of, and who had also disappeared recently... likely doing what he could for their own good. "I'll fight too. You don't have to worry, I won't leave you." As the first of the empty armors charged at him, Gin pulled out his Evoker and quickly pulled the trigger under his chin, summoning Calliope in time to use a Crazy Chain to strike it in return as it's spear stabbed just by his side, nicking his skin as he dodged the swift blow. "You can take it easy. As long as we're here, they won't even touch you." Gin nodded towards Allen, preparing to take some of the heat off of the beautiful Oichi again.
