 This little leawyn is a SPEED DEMON. It loves to find other leawyns and challenge them to a race. Needless to say, it usually ends up victorious. But, NOT TODAY! Your leawyn's feeling pretty confident, and thinks it can make this cocky fox eat it's words. Well, it's time to prove it! ~--------------------------------------~ Start: Sat. Oct 1st @ 8AM EST End: Mon. Oct 10th @ 11:59PM EST Rules:Each day, I will roll 5 6-sided dice. Your goal is to beat the total rolled. If you do beat it, you will get one point. If by some chance your total is double the total of what I rolled, you will get 3 points. No points if total is lower, lol (don't worry, I don't do negatives). ❧ Bonus! If you have a short rp post (just 1-2 sentences, you may get extra points. Number of points rewarded will be disclosed at the end of the game. This, of course, isn't mandatory. It just makes it seem more fun. If you don't have a fox, feel free to fabricate one up for the rping if you want. =)

"You think you can beat me?" he chuckles. "I'd love to see you try."

Miki cocked her head to the side, peering up at the Leawyn in front of the pack of others and her fur bristled. What gave him the right to brag; a couple of speedy feet didn't make him the best. She stepped forward, silent.

With a spring in her step the sly old leawyn bounded forth. She laughed and taunted her opponents with a waggle of her tail. There was no reason for them to bother since it was clear she would be the winner. "You should all might as well go home! If not, I'll see you at the finish line."

He laughs as they try to catch up to him, only to cough in the dust cloud he left behind. Though, one did come close.
"You'll have to do better than that to beat me, ladies!" he called back.-----------------------------------------

Miki fell behind the other challenger, but she was determined to win this. She groaned at the feeling of exhaustion already sprouting in her muscles. How long had it been since she'd last run this hard? But she had to, she just had to!

Once again, the cocky leawyn smirked at the rest.
"What, just ladies?" He grins at the one who seems to be keeping at pace with him. "Just you and me now, or is it?" he laughs.

"Got a problem with that?" she barked, pushing herself. She knew she'd regret pushing herself this far tomorrow. The burn would be painful and present for several days. But she'd do anything to beat the champ. It would give her a place to settle into, as the fastest, and a title to claim. A great bonus for the short amount of pain she'd feel for just a mere few days.

Her efforts paid off, as he watched her pull ahead of him. He stared, flabbergasted, and lost his pace momentarily, but picked it up soon after.
"Haha, you may be first now, but not for long!"

Miki gasped for air. There'd been the smallest little place where she'd been able to pull ahead, but she doubted it would last long. She'd gotten lucky, that was all, she told herself. She kept up the pace, but he was getting faster too.

Her initial sprint had fallen woefully short, but Ali would not give up. This time, she started out more steady, hoping to build up speed to pass the quick Leawyn and beat him at his game. "I'll get you yet!"

With a huff, he quickly pulled ahead again, and turned his head to laugh at the two.
"This is MY race now!"

As guessed, she quickly fell behind. Her strength was slowly dwindling, but she could see him in her sights. He was within reach, if only she could amp up her power. She'd done everything she should have; she'd trained for weeks, eaten right and abandoned her beloved sweets, ran miles and timed herself, all for this one moment. Just so that she could pass up the mighty, speedy Leawyn in front of her. Had her time come only to fail her?
