Zaniah hopped along with her two generations of family escorts. She beamed as bright as that big star in the sky they call
the sun. This was her first time outside her herd lands without her parents, although Akuba and Symphony were close family her parents were still a bit jumpy about taking their children out on walks away from them and their line of sight. As she walked she stuck out her black, white and blue wings and rushed the tips against the bushes and trees softly, she enjoyed the company of all of her family. Quickly she turned and charged her granddad.
"Rahhhh." She flapped her wings and tried to tackle him playfully.
Akuba smiled and received his granddaughter and toppled her over swiftly but gently so the fall wasn't too hard. He grinned at her, she wasn't as tough as Heze or as careful as Auva but to him they all had something which made them special. She landed on her bottom. He and her dad always won. He huffed and stood again looking displeased.
Symphony watched and smiled quietly. She could see her brother a lot in her niece. She had so many questions to ask but there was no way of asking, she wanted to know more of how her brother and his mate were doing, although Zaniah probably reflected that. The little girly would always talk about her parents their business. She nudged her Niece and smiled to signal a cheer-up. Zaniah nuzzled her aunt and hopped onwards without looking soon tripping, falling and rolling by the blue hooves of another foal. Her eyes winded and she covered her head with her wings incase he was mean-mannered and felt like stomping, but there was none, she sprang up,
"sorry!"Akuba ran over to see if she was okay,"are you two okay?"He asked this whilst carefully dusting off his granddaughter making sure no flight feathers had bent. Symphony remained silent and gawked at her dad's fast movement.
