Shizuo lead Izumi into the apartment building, Sunshine Apartments, and into the elevator. It was a well kept building filled with tasteful furniture here and there, keeping more of a home feel then the hotel one as apposed to some apartments. It had been one of the perks of being a well paid bodyguard, after all it had to leave a good impression on the clients that stayed with him or visited him to do business. Once they were out of the elevator, getting out on the sixth floor, he lead her to apartment number 624 and pulled out his keys. "It's on the small side compared to some apartments, only one bedroom as I stated before if you remember. You can take the bedroom and I'll take the couch." It was something he was used to with other stay in clients anyway so his couch was bought to be comfortable. When the door was unlocked he held open the door for Izumi to walk in before him. In the direct line of view when you walked inside was a good look at the couch and entertainment center to the immediate left and a bit of the food bar and kitchen towards the center and right. "O-oh. Y-you don't have to do that... I-I don't want to be a burden..." It wasn't fair of Izumi to kick Shizuo out of his own room, especially since he was doing her--well, Jerome--a favor.
The girl nodded politely and walked through the door. She'd never really been over to anyone else's house before, at least not since she was little. It was awkward. None of these were her things. She didn't know any of the particular little rules for the home, or etiquette for being the guest at a 'sleep over'. So Izumi stood just inside the door, out of the way, holding the handle of the pully suitcase that she'd brought.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." Shizuo said as he stepped in and shut the door behind him, locking it in the process. He passed by her while untying his bow tie on his way towards the kitchen. "Take a seat on the couch or at the bar and make your self at home. Thirsty?" He asked as he stopped by the bar where his laptop rested. He left the untied bow hanging around his shoulders as he opened the computer and hit the power button. "The bathroom is through that door there as well as the bedroom so you can put you things in there if you don't want to sit just yet."
Once the laptop was up he quickly typed in the password and let it fully come up. "Feel free to look around if you wish." He said as he got into his planner and started to arrange some things.

"U-um... t-thank you..." Izumi looked around, flustered at being thrown into such a new situation without any guide on what to do. "U-um... y-yes, I am..." The girl cautiously moved back to where her host indicated the bedroom was and deposited her suitcase neatly in the corner. Shizuo had a nice apartment, nicer than her little place over the shop... aesthetically, at least- It wasn't home... Though, Izumi noticed, it was much quieter in this area, and that was pretty nice.
The girl came back out to the front room quietly, clasping her metal arm with her other hand. She went over to the couch, sat down as Shizuo said she could, and looked at her bright orange shoes. She hadn't had long to pack, and even less time to get somewhat dressed. All she could do was put on a pair of jeans with her nightshirt and her shoes, which meant that her bright blue hair was down and hanging loose over her shoulders.

Shizuo kept an eye on Izumi as she moved around but paid most of his attention to his laptop. Once she sat down and he finished with his schedule he closed the screen but left it up. He awkwardly stood there for a moment before walking over and sitting down by her. "We can pick up some of your other things tomorrow if you like." The blond offered, not sure how to make this situation less tense.
He looked around while absentmindedly scratching at his cheek slightly. "I'm in the middle of changing tv companies so there isn't any channels but I might have some movies. Only VHS' though as the DVD player is broke."

Shizuo sat on the couch with her and her feet seemed to get even more interesting. "A-alright..." She rubbed her metal arm absently. Would staying at Jerome's have been this awkward? Probably not, but for some reason, he wouldn't let her come with him. Izumi frowned at that thought.
"Broke?" Strangely, Izumi seemed to perk up at the word. She didn't say anything as she stood and walked over to Shizuo's entertainment system. Most people would have asked a few questions before poking around with someone else's electronics. Would it be okay to take this thing apart not least on that list.
Izumi stared closely at the DVD player--Who watched VHS any more? Sure she could take one apart and put it together with her eyes closed, but you didn't actually use it. The mechanic reached back behind the player and started unhooking it, mumbling quietly to herself.

Luckily for Izumi, Shizuo was more amused then anything about her going and messing with the DVD player. And really it should have been obvious that she would be happy to have something to do with her self. He relaxed against the couch and toed off his shoes. "I guess we shall have to make sure to bring back some things for you to fix when we go back to your shop tomorrow." It was more thinking out loud but if she was inclined to talk she was more then welcome to.

"Good idea..." Izumi said while she stood up and put the DVD player on the coffee table. "But I don't have very many things that aren't cars to fix-" She said at the same time as she started walking into the bedroom to get something from her suitcase. Luckily for Shizuo's DVD player, Izumi kept a mini-tool kit handy at all times. You never knew when you'd have to fix something... especially when one of your limbs was mechanical.
She returned and sat on the floor, unrolling the little tool kit and starting to remove the casing from the expensive piece of entertainment equipment. "What is wrong with it?" If Shizuo could manage to keep breaking things, it would be fairly easy to keep the shy girl entertained for her stay.

"I'm sure you could think of something. If nothing else I'm sure you have some project you might have put off that's on the small side." That's what mechanics do after all right? Have projects for a 'rainy day'? Shizuo wasn't sure but then again that's what he would do. He crossed his legs and watched her get her things ready. "Honestly all I know is I broke it when I dropped in two weeks ago." He had been trying to set it up when Aiden wanted to play. Lets just say that the DVD player wasn't the only thing broken by the time that was over.

"Dropped it... Hm..." Izumi unscrewed something else and detached half of the player from the other half. "Oh-" Not too much had been damaged from the fall; If the DVD player had been running, it'd be a different story. As it was, it only took putting a few parts back into place and Izumi grinned, "Fixed!"
Once the electronic was put back together, the timid demeanor of Izumi's returned. "U-um... I-if you have anything else to fix... I, um, could fix them for you..." It was only fair, since she was staying at his home. She took a seat back on the couch, on the opposite side from her host. "W-what movies do you have?"

Shizuo blinked in surprise at her speed. "You are quite fast, thank you." He said in awkward praise, giving her a small smile. He leaned forward to study the DVD player for a moment before carefully taking it from her and starting to set it up. "You are welcome to look through them if you want. I have mostly action and scifi films though." he said as he worked, a small wave to the part of the entertainment center they were in.

"Oh- I-I like sci-fi..." Izumi smiled a little bit and went over to look through Shizuo's movies. It didn't take long for her to find something and take it over to her host, waiting quietly for him to hook up the player. "I-is this okay?"

Shizuo looked over just as he finished and quirked a smile at what she had in her hands. "Primeval? Sure. I haven't rewatched that in a while now." He said then walked towards the kitchen. "Popcorn and drinks? I have water, tea and root beer." He offered as he grabbed a bag of popcorn out of the pantry then put it into the micro.

"A-alright." Izumi went over and sat on the couch again. "U-um, root beer, please..." Movies were always a good distraction. It didn't hurt making her feel more comfortable that they seemed to have similar tastes in movies. And they both liked popcorn, that was something. And- Oh! They both had a pokemon(s) from the beldum line!
Izumi decided, with all of these things in common, Shizuo must be good people.

Shizuo nodded to here request even though she wouldn't be able to see him as he got out two root beers. He set them on the counter as he pulled out two bowls to put the popcorn in. "Want extra butter or salt?" he asked as he got ready to take the popcorn out. Personally speaking he didn't put extra of either on his popcorn and instead put nacho cheese on it but he tended to stay away from that when he had guests or clients in the apartment.
