Hera pad through the land towards her mother quietly, the female trotting easily as she moved towards her mother's den, eyes focused. This was for demonkind! The idea of a place with more dark lions was too much and she knew she had to go see.
Koh was napping by the den entrance when Hera returned, and the male got up, stretching and looked towards the den.
"Ri, Hera's home." He smiled. He STILL had no clue the level of s**t he was in.

Ri had been waiting patiently for her fool of a daughter. The pride, small as it currently was, hadn't moved BECAUSE of her idiot daughter. When she heard Koh call out her daughter's return...even Ithil was startled by how quickly the lioness moved, falling onto the ground from her place on Moricorm's head. Ri passed Koh quickly, ruby eyes narrowed and her anger barely contained.
"Where have you been, Hera." The tone in her voice said that she was not amused, and not in a mood to be lied to, or to beat around the bush.

Hera raised a brow, though Koh rubbed his mate to try calming her, worried before Hera spoke. The younger lioness stretched seductively.
"Well, mother, I was following a cousin and a nice dark lioness to find out if there might be some useful lions." She eyed her mother calculatingly. "Even if they tolerate Na'artu and Na'artue."

Ri let Koh rub against her, letting the Nat try to comfort her. He'd been a good Nat so far. "Cousin?" Had she met Ia'duin's spawn? He was the only of her sibs that she remembered being truly outside the pride. Or...No. Just no. Meleth was gone, dead so far as she knew. "Tell me of these dark lions. Perhaps you holding us in one place might be worthwhile...if you've found a worthwhile group."

Kohrisu looked, reading Ri silently as he groomed her a bit, Hera using the time to compile her thoughts.
"They are... Almost-ours. One smells related to him." She nodded at Koh, the male blinking. "Magenta, black, gold. LArge too."
Koh looked surprised. Epyon?
"One is white. Really, more of a... Na'artue or so, but with interesting fire in her eyes. One's one of those and unclean. And one is thought to be death, even if not." Hera smiled sweetly. "She is my friend."

"Almost ours?" That confused her a bit. Though the fact one smelled related to Koh surprised her. It only showed in her eyes, however. The rest of her listened stonily. And...a WHITE lioness? "Hmm...is this...white one a good source of information?" She'd used lions that would normally be Na'artu and Na'artue for information before. To keep her in the Know. Her daughter's remark about one of the number had her bristle.
"You have been travelling with one of THOSE?" Her eyes narrowed. "Tell me, daughter...what pelt color does the...unclean thing have?" Because if it was one of her 'dear cousins' or the unclean spawn of Kimya'Mwimbaji...Her daughter would be punished, and she WOULD hunt the things down.

"The white one's brilliant. She'd be a fine demon if shne was proper." Then she scowled.
"It's orange. And white. I've tried to attack a few times and explain why he's unclean. Noone listens. I think one slept with him but hopefully the situation is salvageable."
Koh put a paw on Ri's to calm her, not liking her look. No, his mate was NOT killing anyone.

Ri could only shake her head. "A shame. If she's useful as you say, however...keep her in your information network." She listened to the description of the leopon, then snorted. Damn. "I believe I know who his mother is. Do not kill him. Yet. It would bring too much wrath down on us, and we do not have the numbers. His mother is the Jua of those idiots." Ri looked to Koh, then raised a brow. Now what was going through his foolish mind?

Koh had to think fast, unused to seeing Ri... Hateful and groomed her softly, rubbing her to help relax her body before smiling.
"I'd think he'd be informative as well. It's not good to waste." He nuzzled Ri gently, trying to soothe. Hera's ears pricked.
"He's damn stupid enough to think I'm harmless. So maybe he can be useful." She liked her mother's pet's idea.
"Mother, why not bring the others to follow? If the pride their from is a handy source of dark pelts, I'm sure they'd like some of the 'problem' ones off their paws and numbers would be good." She smirked. Darkly.

Ri let Koh groom her, her anger already starting to melt away...at least visibly. She hated being reminded of the things that had set her back so much, that had led her here. "Keep him as a source, but do not let me see him." She snorted. "I cannot guarantee I can hold Coactum back if I see him." And best not to risk the Mwako'bi'Giza on them. Not yet.
"So long as you keep him out of my sight, I can lead the pride that way. We'd certainly be MOST happy to take any troublemakers off their paws...even the pale ones." They could use more Nat.

"I think that can be done mother." Hera purred, rubbing her mother fondly.
"Besides, they'll drop him some hold pride. We shouldn't have issues, and if he breeds... More to enjoy." A dark smirk. Nat would be helpful, and she watched Kohrisu continue his affection.
"The brown one is cousin. She smells off though." Hera grunted.

Ri nodded. Good. All was settled than. "So...who is the mother of this brown cousin?" Brown...perhaps Meleth was alive after all? If so...Ri wanted WORDS with her dear sister for abandoning them.

Hera nodded, pushing Kohrisu off her mother roughly. The male squeaked in surprise as he was sat on, Hera rumbling.
"Her mother's named Circe but her AUNT is named Anmeleth." Hera nodded.

The lioness growled lowly at her daughter pushing her Nat around. "What have I told you about other's Nat?" Her daughter's words had her...a bit disturbed underneath, however. Anameleth was NOT a common name. "I have no sister named Circe. Never have. I DO, however, have a sister named Anameleth, disappeared long ago."

"Still only a stupid nat...." Hera growled, but Kohrisu tolerated it long enough to read Ri's face, then rise, padding over and leaning. She was troubled, he could see thatg, and groomed her ears, Hera growling at him before speaking.
"She's nobility. And claims to come from a pride susp-iciously like ours." Hera tried to read her mother, Kohrisu nuzzling her.
"It won't hurt to talk, Ri." Koh coaxed.
