It was perhaps about four in the afternoon, and Juno was having generally a normal outing on the grounds. It'd been a while since he'd last been there. He'd forgotten, was it two or three years he'd been away...? Ah well, what did it matter really? He was back and ready to enjoy the loveliness of the campus once again...
More specifically, his favorite tree. A thickly foliaged oak tree to be precise. It was perfect for hiding in, and the best spot to play some old tricks he'd played oh-so-often during his days here as a student. Figuring it was bit time for some nostalgia during his first few days back, he had to return to this spot.
Crouching comfortably on one of the branches toward the middle-high end part of the tree, he was eyeing his unsuspecting target's backpack. All it need was a small cut at the seam and it would be enough; from this distance it was perfect. He pulled each hand's glove up a bit in preparation for the shot... And in one quick gesture, pointed at his target. "Bang." He whispered. An extra small dart of light appeared and disappeared in an instant, leaving its mark on the indent that attached the bottom to larger portion of the school bag: a near unnoticeable tear.
He knew what the end result would be eventually, and grinned chuckling to himself. Stretching out his legs more comfortably along the branch of the tree, he leaned his back against the trunk. Brown-eyes behind the pitch black shades still lazily on the student's bag he'd just sabotaged for disaster in the near-future (as it looked like a rather heavily loaded bag for sure). What a fine afternoon it was indeed.

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡ"Hmm?" Clow looked down from her perch, as she noticed a unfamiliar man coming towards it. Careful not to make too much noise, she pulled her feet close to her and kept close to the tree trunk, and watched him climb onto a branch under her own. She thought about calling out to him, but he seemed busy with...something. Narrowing her eyes, she decided to stay silent and watch him some more...
"Bang."
Something bright whipped swiftly from his pointing finger...to someone else just a ways off. Clowrey widened her eyes, thoughts quickly pouring through her mind: Why had he done that? 'He's smiling and laughing...He looks relaxed too.' Her eyes went to the other person, whom was trudging a heavy book bag with some difficulty. 'That little...light thing, he shot it at that guy for sure.' Frowning slightly, the young teen leaned over on her branch to get a better view of his face. He was wearing shades, but that wasn't an issue...She recognize that sort of smile he had. She'd worn it herself, many times before.
"Heh." She cupped her hands to her mouth, blowing some black smoke into it...Then she tried to imagine a form. A snake...no, a dragonfly. The big kind that bites, like back home in Tasea[this is real, I saw 'em when I visited Vietnam. Evil little things]...
She unfurled her hands, pleased with how it looked. Now to just make it look real. She sent the modified smoke downwards, careful to try and make the faux dragonfly look like it was moving like it was alive. She made it dart and zag, whizzing around Juno's head a few times in an angry manner before moving away...Then flipping backwards to kamikaze-slam into his face! Of course, it being just smoke, it would dissipate into nothing on contact.

Even from behind Juno's shades, he could always see quite well. He'd grown so accustomed to them after all these years wearing them that they'd become naturally part of his entity. So when a dark darting insect began to assault his head, he wasn't the least bit alarmed.
It looked like a giant dragonfly... From Tasea. Which was obvious to him since it was his home, plus the fact he'd used them as target practice on numerous occasions before coming to SA (Tasea had a great selection of enormous nuisance bugs that he didn't feel guilty shooting at). And he also knew there were none on SA, so how it'd gotten there was beyond him. Why he was attracting it, another mystery. It was for sure looking like it was going to attempt to bite him.
All these calculations had been within a few seconds neither had he really moved at all, but he was just about to take aim when it went straight for his head. His quick reflexes allowed him to duck his head out of the way to the left just in time. He had expected it to come around again, but instead it'd disappeared in a small poof of smoke after striking the trunk of the tree.
Mildly confused, his eyebrows scrunched together. He could only assume it was another person who'd decided to play a trick on him. This made him grin, it was always grand to bump into a fellow prankster. Though he wondered if he could find the culprit. He peered around on his level of tree and below and then finally took a glance upward only to find that yes there was someone. And she was sitting but a few branches up from him. He hadn't noticed her at all when he'd climbed his tree... Amazing!
"It probably would've been more effective if you'd used a snake." He said to her, smirk still on his face.

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡ"Pfft. Yeah, but who expects a big bug to try and knock you silly?" Clowrey smirked back at him, giving a little wave in greeting. Now that she had a better look at his face, she went on to say, in Tasean: ">>Unless, of course, you've already had to deal with one of the little beasts. Right?<<" She let herself down a few branches, so that she was sitting on one adjacent to Juno's own. She stretched out a hand to shake with, introducing herself, "my name's Clowrey Eir, one of the new students. And what do I call you, Shades?" She adjusted her own spectacles, keeping to the shade of the tree; today was just a little too bright for her liking... She was unaware that this man was, in fact, staff. She'd never imagine a teacher would play a prank on someone, and so the thought never crossed her mind. Instead, Clowrey felt at ease to be as she was.

Juno's grin grew wider.
"Or having shoot outs." Juno turned himself towards the young teen, right leg swinging off the branch while the other was up against his chest, forearm leaning against it. "Nice to meet you Clowrey Eir." He took her hand with a gentle squeeze followed by a short shake. "You may continue to call me Shades if you like. Or SS."
"So, what brings you to this fine specimen of a tree?" Juno inquired. She must have great taste in trees if she managed to pick one of many oaks out of the grounds that happened to be his particular favorite, eh?

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡ"Well, I was hiding." . . .Well, maybe not in the tree itself. She shrugged a bit, "I snuck out of gym class and this was the biggest, closet tree. I'm keeping low till the 15 minutes "I give up" time is over. Which actually should be in a few minutes. I think I'll stick with 'Shades'...You can go with just 'Clow' if you want." Looking to him, she twirled her index finger up in the air a few times, as though to mimic what he did; "So you do some light shows or something?" Clow asked, "Or, like "light bullets", seeing as how you 'shot' at that one kid's pack?"

Skipping class, eh? Not like he'd never done it. Juno nodded in comprehension to her statements.
He chuckled. "I guess you saw that, huh. Yeah, you could call it 'light bullets'." "Well, what about you? Smoke insects? What's that about?"

"Haha...Nothing quite so specific." She shrugged lightly, "I just deal with smoke and smog in general...I take it from the air and I can use it for whatever...I can make them into shapes and stuff and control their movements, or I can make a solid weapon out of it if I need to get physical. Can't make sharp edges though...I guess that's just part of the whole 'it's smoke' deal. It isn't really useful, I guess." Legs swinging to and fro, Clowrey's eyes wandered off into the distance of the sky. Despite how bright it was...it looked like a beautiful day. "Hmm...But there is this one part of my powers that's kinda cool...I can use them to see." She turned to him; "I mean...Like, use them as my eyes to see where I usually can't. Kinda like camera bugs, but...not mechanic. Y'know?"

"That sounds pretty neat." Though Juno'd been around the super power business and all that for quite a while now, he'd never really heard of this sort of ability. He nodded while listening to her talk. "Nah, I think it's plenty useful." He smiled. "Maybe one day you'll be able to, by condensing it enough into a solidified form. Though maybe that's not in your range and I'm talking out my butt. Haha." He shrugged. "But logically speaking, smoke or smog or whatever is made up of particles like soot. Aaaand I'm talking too much." He laughed. "Sorry."
"That is also pretty incredible. Sounds a lot like spy material." He grinned. She definitely acted the part with her stealth skills.
Juno sighed and stretched and stood up on his branch. "Well, I don't know about you... But I think it's about time to grab a snack of some sort. Been sitting too long in this tree as much as I like it." He bent down and was about to swing himself out of the tree when he looked up at Clowrey. "Care to join me?"

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡChuckling at his comments, she nodded in unison. "Naw, I don't think you talk too much," she then added, "Aaaaaand we'll just have to wait and see how much my ability can progress. Thanks though...I was never really one for a frontal strike." She'd certainly would have to think more about that spy bit; it made quite a bit of sense to her. "Hmm? Yeah, a little snack sounds good." Keeping her grip on the branch, she lowered herself so she hung off it. With a little bit of a swing, she easily jumped the small distance to the ground. "So what did you have in mind anyway, Shades?"

"So what did you have in mind anyway, Shades?"
With a twinkle in his eye (though of course she couldn't tell because of his shades), "Ice cream."
He knew that SA promoted healthy food and all that jazz, but that didn't keep him from having his own secret storage in a secret compartment in the school's kitchen. No one would keep Juno from his love for sweet things, ice cream was definitely in that category. Cold sweet things.
And now that he was a teacher at SA, he was all the more important that he keep this secret storage well... Secret. The only other person who knew about it was BB. Hack certainly couldn't know about it because he'd clean Juno out of food, the fiendish black hole. And he couldn't have a student finding it. So he would have to figure out a way to get some without Clow knowing. But he would get to that step once they got here.
"We'll have to go to the school's kitchen." He added, hopping down from branch to branch and landing nimbly on the grass at the foot of the tree.

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡNot like she could taste it, though admittedly she hadn't tried eating ice cream in the 2 and a half years she lost her sense of taste...And she was a bit curious what frozen, creamy ash would be like. "I don't remember the kitchen having ice cream..." she muttered under her breath, remembering that one time she missed dinner service and snuck in. She shrugged, though, telling Shades to 'lead the way'. "Hope no one catches us though; I've already got detention lined up at the end of the week. I don't wanna have to spend much longer in that room..." 'With that jerk, Black Blood.'

"Hope no one catches us though; I've already got detention lined up at the end of the week. I don't wanna have to spend much longer in that room..."
Juno snickered at this. He wondered who was in charge of detention these days. He'll never forget that day he met BB in there. And then the many consecutive times they were in there again together... Oh detention, the memories he, BB and it shared. So numerous and wonderful. He could not remember a time when they did not wreak even more havoc in there than the reason that'd got them stuffed in detention in the first place.
Oh fond memories. He sighed. Hopefully he would find BB around soon, since he'd been back he hadn't seen his good friend. Even though he heard that he was around somewhere doing who knows what. Terrorizing new students maybe.
"Eh, I'm not too worried about it." Juno was never afraid of getting in trouble, as long as he had good reason for it. Though pranking was always deemed a good reason, as long as his prank wielded the results he desired.
Strolling along the school grounds on his long legs, it was in no time (at least for Juno) that they got into the cafeteria building which was rather crowded as it was almost dinner service. It was late afternoon after all. He supposed lots of kids were hungry. He noticed a few teachers keeping watch. But with this many people, it would make sneaking into the kitchens even easier.

Now what could The Black Blood doing in the kitchen? (( o.o that was my thought...snack, kitchen and ice cream made me hungry, it was time for breakfast when I typed this in... )) Give him the most difficult mission, he won't complain about a thing. Give him healthy food for a month and he'll go crazy. Snacks is supposed to be snacks. Leave healthy regiment to people who need it. It seems like Zone didn't change from the first time he got here. Tasting that healthy snack bar from before and eating it for the longest time, didn't get him to actually like it. It was recommended, so he ate it. Not that he liked to ate it. Besides they didn't get him what he wanted... ...additional numbers to his height.
Think of it as a way to relieve stress, he always refill Juno's secret storage with a stash of 'The Snack' snacks, whenever he got an opportunity. "Hmm...I wonder what that beanpole is doing now..." Zone thought as he looked left and right, and secretly grabbed for a candy bar. Sweet chocolate with caramel and peanuts, and not the bar of oats kind. He teared the wrapper open and bitten off a piece, "Now that's a chocolate bar." He quickly hidden it in his pocket and closed the storage as he sensed someone coming. It was nearly dinner anyway and a kitchen staff passed by. "Yo," his form of greeting somewhat ticked the guy off, that ticked him off. "What's for dinner?"

_ _©ⓛⓐⓘⓡⓥⓔⓡⓔ ± ©ⓛⓞⓦⓡⓔⓨ ⓔⓘⓡUnnoticed by the mass of people, it seemed simple enough to get to their destination. She did hope nobody was actually inside when they got there though...Clow followed after Juno as they made their way to the kitchen. "Say, what part of Tasea are you from anyhow? From your dialect, I guessed more inland-north?" she queried, being a sea-to-the-south girl herself. It was a simple question, for simple chatter as they came to the kitchen...The girl almost instantly spotted BB--"Oh crap it's that jerk!" she grumbled before starting to speak to Juno. "We oughta get outta here," Clowrey would begin to say, unaware that the two were the best of friends--or that Juno wasn't a student like she had initially thought.
