Shelving was not Daniel's favorite task in the world, but right now he could certainly revel in the sheer normality of it. He felt better with both feet on on earthen soil, which perhaps was the irony that came with being a page of cosmos.
But then, Daniel was frightened by pretty much anything unfamiliar. Outer space wasn't much exception.
So he was shelving, minding his own buissness, and was most likely to be off once he was done. Maybe he would call Chris to see what he'd been up to ?

Much like Daniel, Kail's feet were firmly on the ground. His head, however was a completely different matter - up in the clouds to say the least. Pushing his glasses up his nose, he frowned as he once again walked down the line of books and found it to be the wrong section. The library in this section (The older section, full of textbooks and things that most people didn't read) wasn't terribly well lit, and Kail was having difficulty reading the signs. His hand was outstretched, running along the bookshelf, a measure of comfort if you will. However, he certainly wasn't concentrating or looking where he was going, so when he bumped into some kind of stepladder someone had left out, he yelped loudly, tripping over it and his own feet with a crash. He tumbled to the floor, glasses bouncing off his face.

It was a loud crash that made Daniel jump, dropping the book he'd been in the process of shelved in it's rightful spot. Holy s**t, what was that ?
H-hopefully not a youma oh god no please not a youma...
Thankfully it wasn't youma - just a kid in the next aisle. Daniel blinked, then entered, bending down to retrieve the boy's glasses before anyone could step on them.
"Hey, you're okay ?" He knelt, handing the glasses back to who he figured was their owner.

Kail took the glasses with great gratitude and a copious amount of blushing. He stumbled over his words as he stood up, stuttering out a thankyou as he replaced them on his face.
"T-t-t-t-t-" He closed his eyes and paused, breathing before speaking again.
"Thankyou. very. much."
The words were very staccato if you were musically inclined, each almost spat out as he fought past the nerves. He smiled somewhat awkwardly at Daniel and stuck out his hand.
"Kail."
Introducing yourself is normal, right?
