Mys'ketay laid awkwardly on her back, allowing the sun to warm her belly. It was still fairly early in the day and she had only just moments ago woken up. Her belly felt as cold as the earth when dug deep into. Slowly she closed her eyes and allowed herself to slip into a day dream of when she had first made her way into the rogue lands and away from her father. It felt like so long ago, but in retrospect it was only a few months. In that time she had learned so much not only about herself but the world. When she had first made her appearance in these lands she had not been capable of hunting and distrusted every male she came across due to the experiances she had had with her father. But as time went by and her many encounters with males, she learned that not all males were evil like he had been to her. Although, there were quite a few.

After several minutes of laying there she felt content with the warmth her body had recieved from the sun and rolled over. She opened her eyes, squinting slightly. Her eyes making sure to scan the horizion. Once he was content with what she had seen she happily trotted over to a watering hole she had found the night before and began to drink from it, making sure to drink all that she could because who knew when the next time she would be able to drink again.

It was no surprise he had seen the female. He had been watching her for moments now. Watching her stretch and roll into the grass. He even followed her movements to the watering hole. He had caught on to her scent last night, as he made his way to quench his own thirst. Curiosity didn't allow him to just go away. He wanted to see who it belonged to..Once he had.. He was intrigued. She was beautiful, and he watched her with wry grin. He was a bit of a creeper, keeping an eye her the whole time. But his golden eyes werent going to let go of something he found interesting, or that he wanted to play with. And boy oh boy.. Had he ever found a perfect specimen for such things.

He wanted to play a game, and he had a feeling she would be perfect to play with him. Grinning he stepped out of the shadows and headed towards the watering hole, sun bright against his back. He hated the sunlight, but he would deal with it. For now.

Leaning down he gulped a bit of the water. Wondering what she would do if he ignored she was there.

Since coming to the rogue lands Mys'ketay's skills had grown, however, it wasn't uncommon for others to sneak up on her. After all, she was no where in their league. She was still to new for that. So when the male with the dark pelt appeared out of the blue for a drink at the watering hole she was far to surprised then she should have been. His body was black, with red stripes covering his body. His mane was a darker red then his markings which blended perfectly with his pelt, but his eyes, they were the color of the sun when it was setting. Mys'ketay couldn't deny that he was handsome. As she lifted her head, turning it so she could get an even better view of him she hatched a plan.

This male would more then likely be up for a conversation, as most were. Although, she wasn't sure if this was a good decision on her part. But she needed to practice talking to males so that the next time she saw him she could show him how better she had gotten since she saw him last. After all, how she was now was all thanks to him. Taking in a deep breath she turned her body towards the male and walked a few steps closer to him. "Hello there." She said with a friendly smile. "Nice day out isn't it?" Mys'ketay asked, trying to get the male to talk to her.

Her not thinking he had been following her was his first plan. If she made the first move, she would be more comfortable with him. He was trying to use his fathers training, and do what he had done to Crue's mother. He had tricked her into thinking he was something else.. Now Crue had to convince her that he was no demon. Even as the demon roared within his head. And when she spoke to him, the demon inside smiled. Though he lifted his muzzle from the water, licking his lips and smiling at her with a dip of his head.

"Indeed it is. Though I prefer the darkness. Not so hot on my pelt, you know." He said with a wink.

Mys'ketay knew nothing of the darkness lingering within the male, not even seeing it in his eyes. If she would have been looking she would have found it. But since she wanted to desperately prove herself a changed lioness she decided not to look to hard into him. "I suppose so." She said with a light laugh. "I don't really know what that's like." Mys'ketay said gesturing to her own light pelt. Once more her blue eyes scanned his pelt for a moment, making sure to take in all the details she could.

"What brings you this far out into the lands?" Mys'ketay asked curiously, not even thinking to gauge his response. Her heart felt as if it was racing in her chest. She was taking a risk by not looking deeper into him. But if she did this conversation could potentially be over, and she wasn't willing to give up. She needed to be able to look at a male and not question his every move and word. Otherwise, how could she ever survive around males? She would never be able to trust them, love them, or have cubs of her own someday. No. If this male turned out to be bad well then that was just another lesson. It would help her somewhere in the long run.... Right?

Crue tried to hide the demon in his eyes, and he was sure he was doing a good job. When she didn't call him out on it, he commended his darkness for being able to stay hidden so well. He was proud of himself in this moment but he had a long way to go. Especially if he was going to knock out the deed going in his head. Normally light pelted lionesses were considered ugly to him. He hated them for their slave like pelts. But she was different. He liked her. Something about her anyway. Maybe it was interesting..

"Ah. So I see. Well consider yourself lucky my dear. Because with a dark pelt, summer months are certainly sweltering."

Continuing to be naive, she still didn't notice anything awry with him. In fact she was trying so hard not to concentrate on his possible personality that she began to feel like Crue was this amazing stud lion she had always pictured in her head as a adol when she first began to notice that she liked boys a lot more then she had before. "Well I'm sorry." She said with a slight frown. In this instance she stepped closer and almost nuzzled the male. The motherly side of her had shown itself, but thankfully she had for the most part repressed it. "Umm." She said clearing her throat, hoping he wouldn't notice what she almost did. Certainly he would tell her she was a weirdo and run off. "I'm Mys'ketay. It's very nice to meet you...." Mys'ketay responded, trailing off a bit for him to answer. She figured since he hadn't answered her question about what he was doing so far out in the lands that whatever the reason was not a good one. Little did she know it was her.

When she nuzzled against him, he had to admit he was surprised, and his eyes widened a bit though a grin came over his features. With a bow of his head, as gentlemanly as he could possibly muster.
"Im Crue." He smiled and introduced himself. He knew he had the kind thing right, because look at him! He had her eating out of his paws already. Though he really had to try to hold in the cocky attitude that he usually always carried.

"The pleasure is mine. So, might I ask, what are you doing out here, all alone? Its certainly dangerous." He said, looking concerned.

Mys'ketay was surprised at the males reaction and tried not to read to deeply into it because in that instance she knew she wouldn't like it. Whatever it may be. "Nice to meet you Crue." She said, mentally shaking off her skepticism. "Well, I'm searching for my home." Mys'ketay said, looking away and nodding. Then she returned her gaze back to Crue once more. "But it's very hard to locate. Since I never asked where it would be if I wanted to go there." She said trailing off once more. Finally she sighed, giving up. This was not a time to be depressed. She would find the pride. Even if she only found it years from now when she was to old to enjoy it. "And it hasn't been to dangerous." She said with a playful grin.
