He had been tracking the youma for over an hour now, and Pollux felt like he was both running out of time, and patience. So far, he hadn't seen any signs of it going after any civilians, but that didn't mean it wouldn't. The senshi had seen it while passing the street fountain on his way home, but by the time he'd found a place to transform and done so, it was off. The only signs of it were large wet foot prints, constant in size.
That size, being massive. Judging by the shape and the fact the tracks were formed from water it must have been soaking wet; the tracks didn't resemble any sort of living animal, and thankfully didn't show signs that it was a heavy hitter. The fact it seemed to be going away from him did raise his curiosity however. Just why had it left that one area so quickly? And aside from that, why hadn't it turned to go after him?
If this was trap Pollux was falling for it. While he may not have admitted it, letting a youma run free wasn't something he wanted to have happen. The fact it might have been a trap?
There was always his senshi phone.

Sailor Adhafera sprinted down the street, her heart pounding. The youma was tracking her, she was sure of it - a massive, ugly thing that was much bigger than the monsters she'd been taking down. Still, the bigger they were, the harder they fell... at least in theory.
If she could get it up high to start with. A likely awning came into view, and she leapt for it, pushing off the ground and landing awkwardly on the tilting canvas. One heel tore through the fabric, making her stagger to one side, very nearly twisting her ankle; she wasted precious seconds pulling herself free.
s**t. s**t. s**t-
((This okay? XD Let me know if not, I'll edit.))

The youma was growling in sickening pleasure. It's prey was near, and from the way it moved? It was soon going to be the youma's belly. While the monster stalked it's way over to the landing, Pollux turned the corner, catching sight of it. The youma and senshi both. Cursing to himself, Pollux figured he could hit it from behind, but that didn't mean it would go down. Still, he wasn't about to let another senshi die because he wanted to play it safe.
The youma was still fixated on Adhafera, the water from it's body practically gushing as it snapped it's jaws at her, backing away to get read for an attempt to jump. What it didn't see or notice was Pollux, motioning for Adgafera to be silent as he got ready to cast his attack.
It was only once the youma heard the cry and found it's body unable to move, frozen, that it cried out in anger. Pollux had used his magic, all he had left was physical. Looking at the senshi he'd come to help he cried out, "What are you waiting for, attack it!"
(It's fine, ;A; tell me if my post is alright as well)

Adhafera felt power flare, the unmistakable bright-buzz that meant another senshi. She turned just in time to see the youma freeze in place. Literally.
Fantastic. Now her entire strategy was ruined because someone else saw fit to interfere. So helpful - but she could roll with it and give this other senshi a piece of her mind when the thing was dusted. Adhafera balanced on the awning, then clapped her hands and drew forth her own power.
"Adhafera Bind!"
The attack was designed to clap limbs to body and hold them for a few seconds. But the youma's arms and legs were frozen stiff, unbending. Something had to break, be it Ice or Knot...
SNAP.
The youma shrieked as its arms were forcibly pressed to its side, the brittle ice shattering rather than bending naturally. Adhafera's face lit up with a delighted, feral-edged smile. Maybe she wouldn't yell at the other senshi after all.
Of course, the rest of the youma was still undamaged...

As she snapped the limbs, Pollux grinned. That was one way to get it to stop in it's tracks. But youma were persistent, as could be seen my the monsters' attempts to crawl towards her. If it was going down it seems intent on taking Adhafera with it. The strangled cries of the beast echoed in night air, as black blood and red pone poked our from where it's limbs had snapped. It was gross, but for Pollux, it was meaning victory was at hand.
The youma was struggling to move forward, ice and limbs making it rather feeble. "Have to hand it to you," Pollux walked over to it, boots clinking on the ground. "The youma hissed at him, but the sound was short lived and his boot came crushing down on the youma skull. A flash of dust, and it was dead and gone. "Most senshi I've seen running from youma don't stand up to fight. Then again, not seen most senshi." Shrugging he gave a halfhearted wave. "Pollux, frost. And you?"

Adhafera jumped down as Pollux approached, relieved to be on firm ground again rather than the uncomfortable, shifting canvas of the awning. Her ankle twinged a bit; she'd probably twisted it. Damn. "Adhafera, the Knot," she replied, in kind, not entirely sure how to feel about this. Normally she would have run from the other senshi, but he'd kind of... saved her bacon. And done a pretty good job of it, too.
"I don't see many others, either," she added, shrugging in a non-committal fashion. She was withholding judgement until she learned more about this guy. At least he didn't seem to be wearing a skirt.
