She's not a kitsune, though that's the form that she takes at those ends of the month. The form change is the result of a spell that was put on her when she was six, shortly after she was first sold into slavery. On the nights of the full and new moon, her personality takes a 180 from her normal quiet strength to a fragile creature made for pleasure. The curse also makes her speak in weird accents at times, and when she's really angry or upset she'll start talking in her native language, Aramaic (actually Hebrew).

His family gave up hope that she might still be alive after so long, but Kochava never did. Five years ago, he left to search for her and ended up being captured and sold as a slave himself. He's only had one master, but he failed one time to do the duty that master gave him and was sent to the Center. At times, he will speak in his native language, Aramaic (actually Hebrew), but it's normally only when he is really angry or deep in thought.

Her earliest memories are of fire and laughter. She was only recently taken to the Center to become a slave, but she's lived on the streets for as long as she can remember. She has a mark just below her jaw that looks like a flame tattooed into her skin, marking her as a djinn-human hybrid, but it's very rarely seen because she wears a veil over the lower half of her face.

She was out on a hunt when she was ambushed by a group of elves from another clan. She fought, but was wounded and knocked unconscious. She woke with her wound bandaged and her wrists and ankles bound with gold wire, slung over the back of a horse like a piece of meat to be taken to market.
