Though each contest will have its own set of rules, these rules override any and ALL conflictions. They do not replace rules when unnecessary, but if a dispute arises over a contest rule then refer to this list.
FIRST and foremost:
Follow the friggin' TOS!
Seriously. I cannot stress this enough.

Pay attention especially to the Rules & Guidelines.
This includes prohibition on plagiarism, harassment, abuse, and trolling. There is a zero-tolerance policy on any harassment in this guild and in the ball, so be kind and respect your fellow ball goers!
Second,
Keep every submission of art, written work, and otherwise, PG.
There is a definition of what is PG below.
In a nutshell: No nudity, pornagraphic images or themes, nothing with drugs or alcohol (though metaphors are allowed), or explicit/violent themes.
Third,
Adhere to the administrations of the Adventure Room hosts, co-hosts, and the Annual Ball hosts.
We've been around the bend, so if there is any confusion about the rules and what would be permitted then ask. Generally though, if you have to ask then it probably isn't alright.
Fourth,
You may only enter contests with ONE account. Using mules (otherwise known as second accounts still controlled by the same user) is prohibited and will result in a disqualification. We'll find out. We have our ways.
Finally,
This is not a rule, but it is a very serious warning:
It is not unheard of for scammers and phishers to attempt to gain passwords of Gaians during these events. While you are at less risk while within this guild than you would be in the public forums, it is still important to note that we will never, ever ask for your password.
Known attempts to gain passwords from users have been broken links, images that appear to be broken when posted in a forum, spamming, posing as a mod, and even pop-up windows. If anything other than your normal gaia activity arises in a thread you are in then report it to a Host.
