The ways of different worlds were sometimes surprising, and sometimes... Comforting. Zhivko had found the day-walking ways of the Pridelands quite a jarring shock, with the way he'd had to meet Lilo just as she was going to bed, and he'd been waking up. At first, when they'd started traveling, he had tried to stay up for her. But two things had happened - She started adjusting her sleep schedule to match his, which was a blessing for the pink lion... And he kept running into trees, between being half asleep most of the day and blinded by the sunlight. Now, they moved through the dark trees, enjoying their new home. He stopped, inhaling with a smile. "This is the life, isn't it...?"She would have liked to meet his family, but Lilo had a feeling... Zhivko's wasn't the best TO meet. From what he'd described, in particular... His father wasn't a lion you wanted to run into at night. Hers had been a challenge to introduce him to, IF they were able to track anyone down. Which was just as well. Here, they were far and away from, as far as either of them knew, any blood relations. Just one thing worried her here - Just as they'd arrived, it seemed, some lions had gone missing. "If you consider worrying about someone thinking we killed someone, then... Not so sure. If you mean how otherwise nice the pride is, and the fact they're very happy to have more hunters, then yes, yes it is." She offered the male a smile, leaning on him as she stopped by him. "I love it here, by the way." And she meant it, she really did. It also made her giggle just how much Zhivko popped out in a crowd.

Hyousa was humming a little tune to herself, walking around as if she were inspecting things. Really, she was worried herself about what was happening within the pridal lands lately. A twinge of worry creased her brow, but otherwise she was the normal bubbly lioness she usually was.
Her jewelry swayed with her body as she walked, her tail twitching behind her in a playful manner. Her eyes caught sight of a pair that she didn't quite recognize. Time to fix that problem!
"Hello!" she called out casually, her paws carrying her over to them. Though she was of a decently high rank, it was hard to shed all of her habits from when she was a rogue.

Zhivko looked up, blinking in surprise at the blue lioness. Well this was a surprise to run into! He glanced for a moment between her and Lilo, wondering faintly if blue lions were all related. No, it seemed very unlikely. From what he'd seen, not one member of Lilo's family seemed to be blue. So this was a wholly unrelated lion. He shifted on his paws, watching her for a moment, before he finally spoke. "Hello. I don't think we've met..." Okay, they hadn't really met too many lions, outside their whole class.
"Of course we've never met them, Zhivko!" She then smiled at the other lioness, her chipper self taking over. "Hello! I'm Lilo, and this big pink behemoth is Zhivko! And he's stated the obvious. We've never met before!" Almost bouncing, she went up to the other lioness. "So what's your name?" Behind her, she just knew Zhivko was shaking his head with amusement in his eyes.

Hyousa laughed at the exuberant lioness. "Nice to meet the two of you." She was tickled by the contrasting energy between the two of them, and wondered a bit about their story. That could come later, though.
"I'm Hyousa, its a pleasure to meet you! You don't seem to be natives here....did the moon guide you here to these lands?" It was....kind of like that for her, and once she had found this place she had never felt the desire to leave. As much as she hated to admit it to herself, she knew that part of it was being at a higher rank than most - it made things comfortable for her. She was pleased to work as a huntress, though, to be able to help those around here and to keep everyone fed was satisfying.

The little lioness' face seemed to only light up further, as she bounced back to the big pink male, rising on her hind paws to drape her forepaws across his back. "No, we came from prides far from here! I came from the Pridelands! I left them when Zhivko passed through one night, and told me of his visions of a new place!" She reached over, pinching his cheek affectionately.
Good naturedly, he shook his head, rubbing his cheek. "Stop that, Lilo..." He grinned, though, despite himself, before looking at the other lioness. "She's not really stretching the truth there... I get these visions of the future... And they've led me first to the Pridelands, to Lilo... And then here... From MY old home..." He hesitated just a bit, not sure how to describe the Mwana. "See, the pride I came from, they... Live their lives at night. So I could easily say the moon led me here with my visions from there, since it was already a big presence of my life." He'd just leave out the blood-sucker part.

Hyousa nodded. "My love of the moon is what drove me to this place. It's nice to meet more that are not native to these lands." She was actually really really excited, but didn't want to seem too...over the top. Hyousa was quite the social butterfly, and a gossip too, but she did try to keep the best intentions for everyone put forward between her own social needs. So she was on her best behavior. Maybe later she would get a little more pushy about learning their past stories.
"Its interesting that you see things. I just heard from chatter in the rogue lands about this place." Her tail twitched and the flowers that were mixed in swayed with it. "Have you two started to settle in well?

"Well enough..." He glanced around. "Though I've kinda got to express a small bit of worry... When we came here, we had a pair of hares..." The pink lion peeked behind a bush. No hares... "We haven't seen them since we got here, and we're getting a bit worried they got eaten by someone who didn't know." Sitting down, Zhivko's ears twitched, mouth drawing into a line in thought. Where COULD they have gone? He had to admit being very attached to the little pink ball of fur that insisted on following him everywhere. Like a little angel...
Lilo shook her head in amusement at Zhivko. "They're probably off doing bunny things, Zhivi! Like... Well... Doing what bunnies do..." She motioned with a paw. "Er... You know... That THING..." She wasn't about to say it outright. "Anyway, you're worrying too much! If something was wrong, you'd See it!" She then turned to the other blue lioness, smiling. "Don't mind him, he's worrying about nothing. We're actually settling in VERY well!" She was, at least. There were so many faces she was happy to meet! "What about you, are you settling in well?"

Hyousa laughed. "Well, to be honest, I don't personally know of anyone that likes to go after hares. They're....kind of small, and not really worth the effort. I bet they'll be ok as long as you make sure that everyone knows they're not-for-eating." Of course, it'd be weird to have some food following you around until you were ready to eat it, but she was eccentric herself, and it would be wrong to just assume that no one ever did that.
"I've been doing so well here, its a wonderful place. And there's always something going on to keep you on your toes!" Of course Hyousa meant more gossip-y things, as that's what she thrived on, but it was an active pride, and not a sleepy one as one might think.

It was Lilo who let out a relieves sigh. She couldn't imagine life without her little blue bunny. He was like a baby to her! The faces he made left her in stitches with laughter, and for all his short words, he was a comforting conversation when things were dreary. "We'll spread the word in a bit. I wouldn't want Shulu getting hurt or eaten..." She paused. "Or him to hurt somebody else." She remembered all too well his first interaction with Zhivko... It hadn't ended well or pretty for the pink and white lion, and she was sure Shulu still didn't like Zhivko.
The male reached up, rubbing his face. A small series of scars was evident only after some of his fur was moved. It had grown in well to hide them. He scowled a bit, suddenly hoping somebody would eat the blue one. But then he remembered how much Malaika loved that little pain in the tail, and the malice vanished. He let out a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment, then looked at Lilo. "I think our time might be better spent looking for them, AND warning others." He turned, bowing his head to Hyousa. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Hyousa!" He then ushered Lilo off. "Come on, Shulu and Malaika won't find themselves for us..." He paused at the look Lilo gave him. "Oh, you know what I mean!"

Hyousa bobbed her head, still amused that lions had bunnies for pets...or something like that. She wasn't used to it, but she wasn't about to question it either.
"I hope you two find them soon," she said with a smile as the two of them began to leave her. "I'll see you two soon." The social butterfly that Hyousa was, she was certain to rush into them soon...perhaps with two little bunnies in tow, too!
