Personality
Graham & Calliope: Graham is her fighter, she works hard training him to be the perfect fighting Mokai.
Calliope is less of a fighter and more of a herder. She's trained to sort of keep Rerehi in line and Kari keeps her close whenever she's working with them. If one gets loose, Calliope threatens back into a place where Kari can take care of it.
When she goes hunting, both her Mokai come with her for protection and to aid in the hunt.
She's the man: The only daughter of an aging settler, Kari was raised to be just what his father wanted, a son. A girl to marry off was no use to him when she was younger, so rather than work hard to make her useful in a woman's place when she grew up, he treated her as if she were a boy. She learned how to take care of and train Mokai and Rerehi, how to hunt, and grow some of the island's fruit trees. Because of this, Kari has a very masculine personality, comfortable around guys, unafraid of manual labor, apt to roughhousing when she gets a mind to it, and not too ladylike that she can't pop into the local drinking establishment.
JackJill-of-All-Trades: To support herself, she does a number of things.
- She hunts Tia to supply her home with meat, though most of it goes to her Mokai.
- Most of the fruit she grows goes to markets or regular buyers.
- Her main monetary supplements come from Rerehi breeding and Mokai fights.
Cool as a day in November: She keeps a calm head about her; it takes a lot to rile her. With the places she goes and the amount of hunting she does, she can't really afford to panic all the time or let her temper get the best of her.
Honorable: She'd never cheat someone. But you can be darn sure that if she catches you cheating, she'll sic her Mokai on you.
A friend in need: Kari will always go out of her way to help a friend if she can.
Even if they don't want her to...
Obsessive Compulsive: Even though her father didn't make any efforts to make her a "proper lady" she developed a want to keep things clean and orderly in the house. Her father's untidiness drove her crazy until it was clean and neat. To her, her home is like a machine. If it's not well-organized, it won't run right.

Extra
She has two Mokai, Graham and Calliope and her family has only ever had fighters. She owns two breeding pairs of Rerehi and staggers the birthings every year or so, so that she isn't overwhelmed in training before she sells the fawns.
She lives alone (Her father passed away a few years back) on the outskirts of the settlement, close to the forests.
