Noke began walking throught the forest with Kamali beside her. She was smiling as she walked with him. She was just bubbling with excitment as they contniud to follow the trail to the pack's settlement. It wasn't really their territory, but soon enough they would claim their own terrain. She then looked out to see the den. She smiled as she trotted over. "Well here we are.." She said gently looking out over the den and area where Akui and Noke spent most their time while Nyx and the pups were in.

Kamali almost froze in his tracks, hackles rising a little, a note of how nervous he was. He calmed himself though, forcing himself to tak e the next step, looking around cautiously. "So.. here we are.." he murmered sheepishly, why was he so nervous?

Akui's head poked out of the den as he heard wolve's approaching, by instinct his came out of the darkness bearing his teeth and holding his tail up high in a dominent position. But immediately upon seeing Noke and her companion, he relaxed his hackles and put on a more friendly expression. He was very relieved to see Noke back, and went up to her, nuzzling her gently, tail wagging.
Regardless, he did step in front of the new male to keep him from getting any closer to the den. After all, he didn't know this stranger and would have to pass a thurough inspection before being allowed to get close to his children.
He reached out to sniff him, carefully guaging his reactions.

*hearing the noises and smelling new smells, Nyx's ears lay back agsints her head and she nuzzled the growing puppies carefully, whispering reassurements and instructions to stay perfectly still as she crawled on her stomach towards the opening of the den, not leaving, but carefully watching to see what might be going on*

Kamali froze once again as the larger male came from the den, worried gaze flicking to Noke as he approached. He stood still, tail curling between his legs and ears flat, almost ready to whine. Yes, he was nervous. He swallowed and waited patiently.

Akui did his best to look dominent, but not threatening. After all, he wasn't a bully. He assumed this was the male Noke had talked about.
On one hand, he knew Noke was a good shewolf, and any friend of hers was a friend of his. But on the other paw... he was certain Noke's feelings for him ran deeper than mere friendship given the way he acted.
He gave an expectant look to Noke to introduce the newcomer, then went to give the green make a extensive sniff-over. He looked enough. Clean, not too skinny, not too fat. But if he had romantic interests in Noke, he would certainly have to proove himself worthy enough for her.

Kamali wondered if it was alright to tell the older male his name yet, but decided it best to wait for Noke. So this was Akui? His head tilted slightly, as he watched the older male, curiousity consuming his mind. He glanced again to the den, just able to see the other alpha, Akui's mate..
So this was where Monenoke was staying now? He let his gaze wander a bit, just around the area. It seemed a lovely place, but she had said they would be searching for new territory soon.
What he wouldn't do to have Haku here. Well.. no not Haku.. that might cause conflict. Lera perhaps. Hell, even Gaara, who still scared him secretly. But scare him or no, he was part of the pack, and boy did he miss his pack.
Especially being in a strange situation like this. Well, it wasn't too strange.. He glanced back to Noke, seeming to find comfort in watching her, partly because she was the only wolf he knew here, and the other part because.. well he wasn't sure exactly.

Harlequin blinked dazedly as she felt her mother lightly move about in the den. She was saying something quietly, although the first utterance of her plea was lost in the echo of a dream. The small black pup squinted and snorted lightly, her head bobbing about with peculiar intent. Quite a few things had changed around the young pup's world, the most startling of them being her pair of bright yellow eyes, which now fiercely peered forwards at the opening of the den.
Her father seemed to have left as well, as she had recently learned to identify him as. What was so interesting? But she kept quiet, mindful of her mother's words. The outside world was still a bit more confusing then Harle dare let on.
But regardless, scent and instinct told the small form that another creature had arrived. Her muzzle twitched, showing just a tiny sliver of knobby puppy teeth as she warbled carefully, and then settled down to see what was going on.
Why couldn't she go up and look too? Her nose crinkled. But, she knew better then to argue. Her ears flattened, and she resolved herself to staring intently at the den entrance, as if she stood at the very mouth of it. Her tiny paws tingled for urge for movement, but the small black pup kept herself beside her brother and sister, listening intently.
All was silent, for now...Without being able to see the social interactions of the big wolves, she was left at a blank as to what the mood of the situation was. But Nyx certainly wasnt taking any chances, apparently. Were they in danger? Or worse. Were they simply too young to understand the extent of the matter? Harle had a bad feeling, with an idled thump of her tail, it was the latter.

Noke watched as Akui appeared, she tried to smile gently, but she was just about as nervous as Kamali was. Her stomach caged in too many butterflies. "Hey Akui, um... Akui this is Kamali and... Kamali this is Akui..." She said with a cheerful tone. She looked at Kamali and smiled at him. There was inded a long silence, which just seemed to set her nerves a bit on the edge. She stepped closer to Akui and licked him, "Akui, I was wondering if Kamali could stay a little bit and rest from his journey?" She sounded a bit hopeful as she looked from Akui to Kamali.

"It is nice to meet you Akui.." He trailed off, managing to keep his voice steady though. He swallowed, waiting for his answer. He hoped he would be allowed to stay. He wanted to watch Noke more, but kept his gaze firmly on Akui.

Akui nuzzled Noke in response. "Of course he can rest here, Noke." Akui had non intention of letting in physically inside the den, but being how small it was, he woudl be surprised if they could all fit anyway.
Akui turned his gaze back to the green male. "Welcome, Kamali. Its very nice to meet you. This is my mate, Nyx," he said, motioning to the black and red female that was peeking her head out of the den.

Kamali gave the wolfish equivalent to a grin, happy that he was permitted to stay on the land. He bowed his head when he glanced to Nyx, head tilting agian. "ah.. Nice to meet you Nyx." He murmered. glancing between both. "And thank you for letting me stay for a rest.." his tail flicked, not sure what else to say.

Noke smiled in immediate relief. She nodded her head as her orbs looked over towards where Nyx and the pups lay. They still occupied the den, but that was fine by her. She shook herself and then looked at Akui, "Thankyou Akui..." She said cheerfully. It was an awkward situition indeed. What to do next.... She paused for a second wondering what was next to come.

"Feel free to rest anywhere you like, just not directly in the den, please, Kamali. The pups are still quite young..."
Akui looked between Noke and Kam, then cocked his head off to the side, indicating a thicket just beyond the den. "Noke, can I speak to you, please?"
