 Opal sat on the other side of the tree fuming over Hellfyre bringing that trash to the herd. She was still puffed up like a puffer fish looking quite angry. She wanted nothing more then to find Prism and shove his head up his own tail end. But she knew Ion would proble kick her own tail end for doing such things with a full belly. She snorted flicking her tail back and forth. She was going to see to it that Hellfyre was put on double duty for patrols for egging the annoyance on. She snorted thinking about the duties she would put him on. The most foul ones she could think of. Ohhhh he would be on poop scooping duty.

Ion meandered over to his puffer fish mate and deposited a nice basket full of apples in front of her. "There we are my love, enjoy." he grinned. He was in an exceptionally good mood for no good reason. He figured it was to balance out Opal's negativity. That and Tide had just come back from patrol with nothing to report and Hellfyre had just left to attend to his duties. Ion snagged an apple and munched it. The juices ran down his muzzle and he sighed. When was the last time he had had an apple? Too long.

She snorted at Ion. "What you so happy about?" She was still fuming. "Ion! I want Hellfyre on the nastiest duties you can think of. And put him on double patrols." She flicked her tail back and forth in annoyance.

"Yes ma'am, double patrols and dung patch duty." Ion whistled. " I am happy because I know that soon you will have our babies, Hellfyre will be in the pits of dung patch hell and I will be a father with the most loving and kind mother in the world."

Opal eyed Ion. "Yeah continue being happy. Be happy you aren't the one that gets fat. Packing around this extra weight is not easy." She huffed a bit. "Neither is the mood swings or the raging hormones. One minute I'm happy the next minute I'm pissed then I'm crying."

Opal groaned. "I'm refusing to have any more!" She flopped over on her side. "Hellfyre is driving me up a wall already. Thali proble hates me. Tide is always a pain in my tail end." She sighed flicking her tail against the dirt. "You hear that Ion? No more babies from me!" Course she more then likely was not serious on this threat.

"Yes dear, no more babies for you, Tide Thali and Hell are evidently enough, maybe we just need a break from the less mature in our herd. I'm sure Thali will come around eventually though.

Opal rolled back and forth kicking up a small dust storm from her dust bath. "We both know that can not happen." She stopped then got up. "I've heard horror stories about stressed mares. That they give birth to deformed foals or lose them. So what do you think I should do? Hellfyre is going to stress me out with this whole Prism issue."

"I think, Opal my love, that you should take a vacation until the foals are born. What happened between Hellfyre and Prism was unforseen and unfortunate as it puts your foals and your *Ahem* sanity in danger. Perhaps you could stay in the little canyon that we found, you know, the one with the waterfall? It would be healthier for all of us. Then I could visit you in a stress free environment and you could stop stomping on my hooves, which hurts by the way when you catch my coronet."

Opal eyed him. "Sorry about that. You know just well pissed off." She thought a bit. "So I go stay there and you come visit me every day?" She questioned him. "There was plenty to eat there and of course a fresh source of water. And the waterfall sounds are very comforting."
