Um...I am a fanatic of the Rapture and end times, I know most of what will happen, but here is a question, I think I know the answer, but I just need some clarification. The Bible says that the Lord will come for His people, is this the Rapture they are talking about or the Glorious Appearing?

Shihen Tenshi Um...I am a fanatic of the Rapture and end times, I know most of what will happen, but here is a question, I think I know the answer, but I just need some clarification. The Bible says that the Lord will come for His people, is this the Rapture they are talking about or the Glorious Appearing? I believe it is the rapture because he is coming to take away the church age but can you show the full verse or where it is at to make sure?

Matthew 24:44- So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Acts 2:20-The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 1 Timothy 6:13-16 I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time - God the blessed and only Ruler, the King of Kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen I have a feeling 1 Timothy 6:13-16 is talking about the Rapture,

To be frank, I'm most certainly not in full knowledge about the end times. I haven't reached Revelations yet.
But I did heard once that..
1) People will disappear
2) Second coming
3) People who disappeared will regroup in the sky with Him

Amen I have a feeling 1 Timothy 6:13-16 is talking about the Rapture, I am pretty sure the Matthew and Timothy are about the Rapture and the acts 2:20 is talking about the end of the tribulation period because the Sun is supposed to be darkened during the tribulation. KJV Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; KJV Revelations 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Yes, so I believe that Rev. 6:12-is one of the judgments that God sends in the Tribulation, then Rev. 9:2 is the end of it when the Lord comes back to Earth to get the Tribulation saints that have survived the 7 years.

When the Lord comes, His followers will ascend into Heaven and those left behind will undergo a torturous experience before they must face the far worse fate of an eternity burning in Hell burning_eyes .Thank God that I am saved!

the rapture will take place when the lord comes for us and takes us away with him. after this tribulation will come and people who want to survive will have the mark of the beast. Those who refuse this mark will be tortured and chased. In 7 years of tribulation the lord will come to purify those who refused the mark of the beast and take them. After this satan will be tied up and sealed. then the lord and us who where saved will reign over the planet for 1000 years. Satan will no longer be part of the planet.Then finally God will destroy everything and boom end of earths story.That is the real end of times.

That is the rapture.
I am also looking forward to Christ's return. We christians will all be in the clouds with Him on that glorious day!
