 She was content at this moment. It seemed fate was working once again and the fact that she was pregnant was beyond belief. She loved Pavi and had promised him with her heart to love him while this lasted..It seemed shortly after finding this secluded home in the mountains she started having strange pains unlike any other. In the mornings she would feel sick and when she tried to eat she would just get sick and be unable to eat. She also had been having very strange mood swings lately. She then figured out on her own due to having seen and heard of this that she was pregnant. Her growing belly only backed up her thoughts. Pavi had yet to find out though because she had been keeping it from him and he had not been home since this had all started. She felt today though that he would come back and this was the day he would find out and she would just tell him. She herself was overjoyed and the thought of starting a family made her joyful. She hoped Pavi would share the same joy that she felt.She no longer felt the need to wear her mask she felt she could show herself to Pavi and so she left her mask on the wall in the little home for when she did need it..

The skys were pinking with dawn making its way over Pavitra's back. He was anxious to return home, to return to Adalyn. It had been a short time since he left to travel the surrounding area, to make sure their home was secure of evils, but it had felt too long to leave Adalyn by herself. She grew so lonely so easily and he'd vowed not to let her feel that any longer. It was chilly for this area's time of season but of course, that could of been his altitude. Titling his wings a little upward, he felt himself begin to sore down. He didn't want Adalyn to be able to spot his return.
Landing silently in the trees, Pavitra continued towards the cave, hidden in vines, that he and Adalyn had chosen to reside. He wondered if she were still asleep. Her patterns changed often, like her moods. Smirking at his silent tease, Pavitra felt his tummy tie in knots with anticipation.

She was watching the area from the home scanning the ground and the skies for Pavi hoping he truly would come home soon. She missed him and longed to feel him by her side again like before. She sighed and laid her head down feeling suddenly tired and before she knew it she was drifting into a deep sleep. She dreamed of a happy family there was laughter echoing through the home and bright happy faces. She was smiling in her dreams but a sudden pain in her stomach jolted her awake. She snorted but then felt it again and as she looked down at her belly... She knew that even if Pavi was not here she had her foals for company even if they were yet inside her. She wanted to speak to them but was unsure if they would even know "Little ones..You must grow up to be strong and proud..do not make the same mistakes i did.." she closes her eyes and feels another kick wondering if that meant they really did understand her. Of course she had no idea the number of foals she had or there genders but she knew they would be loved all the same.

Ah. And there she was. Her faint white pelt glowing in the pale light and the shrouds of the greenery. She was luminescent in what Pavi assumed was sleep. Careful to not make a single noise (Wind soqs have lighter bones, making sneaking much easier), he approached her from behind, smiling down at her form. Had she.. had she gotten bigger? He pondered only a moment, assuming the green around the area was just that good. Huh. She never was one to gorge. Shaking the threads of hair that'd fallen in his face, he scanned the area for her mask. She must have slept with out it... now that was particularly odd, what with him not being home and all.
A slight movement caught his eye, and he peered down once more. Had something... did her stomach just jerk? His eyes widened as his heart exploded in flutters. With out thinking, Pavitra let out a loud whisper, "Adalyn!"

She was having a peaceful dream once again she saw a family she supposed was hers laughing and having a good time. She was unaware of Pavi looming over her smiling down on her. She shifted slightly in her sleep but quickly shifted again finding some positions very uncomfortable for sleep. If she had been awake she would of seen Pavi staring at her wondering what was going on. She would of seen him his eyes wide as he saw something move from within her. She was suddenly jolted from sleep again as she hard Pavi not even knowing he was there she was both surprised and worried. "Pavi?? Your back..I have missed you in the short time you were gone..Why have you woken me..?" she was staring at him with sleepy eyes then she looked down at her belly and remembered. "Pavi..were going to be welcoming a family..i dont know when but its true.." she nods at him her voice growing softer as if it might be lost "I love you and now were starting a family..I would of never thought i would embrace this moment"

Pavitra's jaw dropped. And I mean dropped. There was even a loud "pop" noise. With wide eyes, the only thing Pavitra could do was stare at her stomach. Really? A family? Was she positive? How did she know? Well of course she knew, it was her body? But when did she know? How far away are they? What would they look like? Act like? Would they be boy or girl? Everything flooded his senses to the point that everything went numb at once. He was finally, finally going to be a father. Have a family. A true, honest to god family.
Taking a deep breath, Pavitra exhaled the same time a smile crossed his lips. "Really...?" he whispered, as more of question, daring her to take this happiness from him before he was entirely too attached. Well too late for that. "Oh Adalyn!" He leaped, his wings bursting out from his sides, his eyes bright with excitement and little bit of tears. "Our family, Adalyn! It's begun!"

She stared at him waiting for his reaction she wondered if he would be happy of course she was overjoyed. She watched his expersson change as what she said soaked thorough of course she was wondering what they would look like and she was hoping there would be a filly she had always wanted a filly. She could make due with a colt though she knew they would both raise them well. She saw his jaw drop and gently pushed it back up for him standing under him. She nodded at him "Yes Pavi why would i lie about something this amazing?" she smiles at him and nods " A new chapter had started and we are the stars of it"

He nodded vigorously, reaching his maw down to rub it against her lower belly. "Oh little ones, our little ones, Adalyn." he murmured quietly, his eyes closing. Jerking up, Pavitra got the expression of seriousness. "Oh my, what are you doing up? You need to lay down! Rest, sleep!" He was smiling a little but he truly wanted her to relaxing and be stress free. That short time he spent with the pregnant fae told him how exhausting pregnancy is, and he feared for his fragile Adalyn's health, and the health of the foals.
"I'm so terribly sorry I woke you, no go back to resting. I shall rest with you, if that makes you feel better. Or I'll go out for food and bring back spectacles. Anything you want, love!" He reached his wings forward and rested them around her back, smiling happily, still aflutter.

She smiles and follows his head down to her stomach "They will be little ones when they are born..but like all things they will grow to be strong" she lets her head rest on his but is suddenly jerked up as he moves his head as if something was wrong "Your the one who got me up Pavi.." he laughs at him though "Now your asking me to sleep?" she shakes her mane "How can i at a time like this??" she is still smiling at him her face a ray of hope and comfort. she sighs at him "I dont feel likes sleeping but if you think i should..I will do it for you" she slowly lays back down and closes her eyes "I love you pavi.." She mutters it softly under her breath feeling his wings brush on her back smiling blissfully

With a happy sigh, like relief, Pavitra made sure she was as comfortable as can be. "And anything, my dear Adalyn, I'll do for you." Oh a father. He couldn't think of anything else but them. Nothing could fill his heart any more than the thought of foals. He didn't care what gender they were, or who they looked like, as long as they were healthy, that would be all that matters. He'd love them no matter what, and will make sure they know it. And Adalyn knows it. He'll be the best possible father he can be. Even though he never had one, he knew as long as he made sure that they knew they're loved, they'd be just fine.
Yes. He'd do anything for his family. Anything.
