POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The day was like any other day in Halloweentown. Like all their practices, it was early yet, although the pumpkin sun had already risen completely in the sky, leaving a soft orange haze over the field. The only difference was that a few thick, heavy-looking clouds had begun to fill the sky, leaving it almost a little darker than it already was. Students had begun to fill the stands around them, the noise filtering a little before it reached the side of the field were the bruteball team had already collected.

On the other side, the dark puke-green of another team's jersey stood out like a sore thumb, the blood red numbers distinctly unappealing.

Mechanics of Bruteball

User Image
^Example^

All games will be played with an NPC opposing team, with the same number of players who are playing for Amityville.

STEP ONE: Players move first (fifteen minute phase)

During this phase, all players choose between run, tackle, throw (or, if you have a second form, transform) All players will randomize a number between 1 and 50. 25 - (your stat for that choice) = number and lower for miss. Above is success. Example - Nuk throws. His throw is 2. 23 or lower and he fails. 24 or higher he is successful.

Run – attempt to run north, east/west, or diagonal. If there is no tackler, miss = player runs ONE square. If success with no tackler, player runs TWO squares. If tackler, tackler must miss to move.
Tackle – randomize to see success.
Throw – player may throw anywhere on field. If no tackler, randomize to see success. If tackler, highest number success.
Transform – no dice, takes one turn. Only applicable to students who have two forms.

STEP 2: Other team moves 2nd (NPCs)

STEP 3: Check Results

If tackled w/o ball, try again
If tackled w ball, other team has ball
If not tackled, successful run/throw

Games are time-based, with 2 hr halves. First 'Half' plays Saturday Morning, Second 'Half' plays Sunday Evening. Team with most points at the end wins.
