Az sat outside of his den, feeling damn proud of himself. Tucked away inside of his cave, behind the crystal waterfall, was his prize. He'd been absurdly bored earlier in the day and had left the confines of his jungle to find something interesting. Interesting indeed. The lioness had been rather fetching in his mind, her coat a compliment to his own dark coloring with a splash of cream and sunset. He was a little sad that he had to use force to get her back to his home, though he hadn't been surprised when she had refused to come with him. But any den in a storm.

He felt better being home again, and even more so that he had a lovely little treasure, too. The air was thick with moisture and heat even though the sun was on its way out of the sky, leaving splashes of pink and gold on the surface of the lake that made up a fair bit of the clearing. Thick jungle made up most of the clearing's boarders, but for the high cliff-face at his back, from which the river plummeted down from, forming a curtain over the entrance to his den. There was plenty of space to walk from behind the falls, but every time he did, he got a little sprinkled with the cool water.

Turquoise eyes slowly closed and he took a deep breath of the think air, listening to the world around him and waiting for his prize to wake up.

Her dreams were odd.. She was still unconscious, knocked cold from the male that had asked her to go with him. She had refused, obviously, because she had not wanted to just follow some stranger and live with them. She simply wasnt that type of girl. She didn't need a male to survive, she didn't need anyone to survive.. Of course maybe now.

Her amber colored eyes fluttered open, unfocused. It only took a few seconds for the pounding in her head to return and she placed a paw on the side of it as if that would help ease the throbbing. She was still groggy, not really remembering much outside of her dream..

She glanced around her, looking at the waterfall that it seemed she was.. behind. How was that even possible? She stood, a bit shaky at first but with each step she got her footing back.

"Hello?" She called.

Azrael:
Az looked up at the sound of a clear voice over the sound of the falls. Ah, his prize must be awake. He stood with a smile and made his way back to the falls and behind it, peaking around the corner of the entrance with a smile.
"Finally awake, are you sweetheart?" he asked smoothly, head tilted slightly to one side. He took a moment there, taking in her appearance. Ah, she was beautiful.

With a smug smirk on his features, he approached her, slowly and carefully. He'd kidnapped her after all, he didn't need to startle her... too much, anyways.
"Did you sleep well?"

Andais:
When the voice came to her ears, they flicked forward and her eyes widened a bit. Seeing him, she remembered a bit at what had happened. She glared at him, and though she was in no condition for fighting, she was geared to protect herself.

"Who are you and what do you want?" She demanded. She wasnt the type to scramble back and be afraid, but inside she surely wanted to.

Azrael:
"Ah, I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I was so distracted by your beauty..." Az trailed off slightly, caught in her eyes again. What was it about her that he was so fascinated? He wanted to reach a paw out and touch her, but knew it would just scare her more. Although, when had he ever cared? Apparently now.
He let out a sigh and shook his head.

"My name is Azrael," he replied, softening his smirk a couple of degrees, taking a couple more steps towards her. She looked terrified and that bothered him. He didn't want her to be terrified of him... Wary enough to keep her from crossing him, but not terrified.

Andais:
He spoke softly, and it unnerved her. What kind of male hit a female over the head for refusing his attentions, and then was charming, and kind? She wasnt going to fall for it.. Not yet anyway.

"Why am I here?" She asked. She didn't give her name yet. He hadn't asked and she didn't feel the need yet for him to share such information. She gulped, and looked at his skull marked face. He was intimidating, but he had pretty eyes.
Not that she cared at the moment. The throbbing in her head didn't allow her to care much.

Azrael:
A few more steps and Az was only a couple of strides away from her.
"I did ask. Unfortunately, I'm not a male that takes no for an answer," he replied and tilted his head to one side. She hadn't given him her name. Well, he hadn't asked... But it would have been polite of her.

"Do you have a name, or do I need to think of one for you?" he asked, taking the last couple of steps towards her. His eyes shone with a mild humor, his mind working on names that he could give her. Mine was, of course, on the top of that list, closely followed by Sexy.

Andais:
When he kept stepping closer, she felt that backing away would do nothing but show her fear. She couldn't show that. So she didn't move, and she allowed him to come closer. Though she wasnt sure there was anything she could have done to stop him anyway. She had no choice but to accept his advances.

"So you hit me over the head and drag me away? Do you think you can keep me forever? Ill only try to get away." She responded as if she had the answer for anything. Her voice was strong, and she was trying to be brave though the feeling of being trapped was becoming a bit stronger.

"I go by Andais, thanks. Id prefer no other name." She said, and she looked down at her paws.

Azrael:
When they were almost toe-to-toe, Az quieted and listened to her replies.
"Yes, I d-" he began, but stopped when her head dipped down. Now that he wouldn't have. His paw rose and gently touched her chin, a soft stroke before a gentle push upwards.

"The ground doesn't deserve such a pretty gaze, Andais," he all but purred, stroking her fur slightly. It was soft against the worn pads on his paw, heavenly.
"You can try to get away, but I cannot let you succeed." No, he wouldn't lose her, she was his now.

Andais:
He placed his paw under her chin, and lifted her head up until her amber eyes met his own teal ones. She was so confused. He seemed the type she wouldn't mind.. if he hadnt have beat her over the head to get her where she was.
"Why? Why won't you let me go? Are you planning on hurting me?" She asked, looking nervously at him rather fearing the answer. She didn't want to die when he was through with her. What was it he had planned? The uncertainty made her nervous.
Did he plan on hurting her if she escaped?

"But what if I do? What if you can't stop me?" She asked. She was more pressing now than threatening. She was rather fearful of fighting against the larger male. His body heat radiated against her fur and she shuddered a little.

Azrael:
Az's eyes widened a fraction and he leaned forward, pressing his cheek to hers.
"I'd never hurt you," he replied. No, he'd never hurt her. Well... if she attacked him, he'd only have to defend himself... But he wouldn't like doing it. He hadn't even liked knocking her out. But he had seen no other way. If he had time, he could have drugged her, he was good at that. But there hadn't been time to even consider it and he couldn't let her get away.

"I wouldn't suggest it, Andais. The jungle isn't a safe place to go wandering about when you don't know your way around." It was in no way a threat, his voice held only a sort of concern that she understand that there was no safe way for her to leave. And the last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt. She was his, and he took good care of his things.
He finally pulled away, the smirk back on his features.

Andais:
When he told her of the jungle, she shivered. She had been in a jungle before. Its how her mother had died, deep in the heart of the jungle and trying to find her way out. She gulped, and the fear was evident on her eyes. That was one thing she didn't like. She couldnt do it.

A tear escaped down her cheek in frustration, and she nodded. So she would have to stay. She was his, obviously, though she certainly wouldnt give in too easy. She'd keep her mind working.

"Y-You brought me to the jungle.." She said, as if she should have known that was where she was. The humidity should have been the clue.

"If you arent wanting to hurt me.. What do you want with me?" She asked, voice softer now that she knew she was stuck. At least for the moment.

Azrael:
The smirk faded into a frown at her tone of voice.
"I brought you to my home..." he replied. He hadn't intended to take her to a place that kept her trapped, he'd just intended to keep an eye on her. This was advantages on one paw... He shook the thoughts away.
But when she asked what he wanted from her, the smirk came back.

"There are plenty of things I could think of." His voice dripped with innuendo. Oh, yes, that would be nice, but he wouldn't force her into anything like that. He'd much rather have her come to him instead.
He let out a small chuckle.
"But for the moment, your company is fine for the time being."

Andais:
He had brought her to his home, to have her. For her to be his. She supposed thats the way alot of females ended in the care of the males in their lives. That didnt make her feel any less anxious about the idea though. She put her paw back to her head and frowned.

"My head hurts." She said, and lifted her eyes back up. Man, getting hit over the head hurt..Bad..
When he said what he wanted, and the innuendo was there, she scowled, however she guessed she could live with at least being his company for the moment.

"Im going to have a huge bump, I know it."

Azrael:
Now, that he regretted. Az stood and turned towards the darker recesses of the cave.
"Come along, sweetheart. A bit of cold water will help that," he said, heading into a tunnel that opened up into a smaller cavern in the cave. A small pond of luminescent water glowed there, cold as it was forever underground. He walked to the edge of it, dipped his paw in and shivered at the coolness. Usually the waterfall was cool, but this, this water was freezing in comparison. A bit on her head might numb the pain.

"Andais, come here. I won't bite... ... Not unless you ask me to." And with that the smirk was back.

Andais:
She followed him, keeping close to him as she was in a new place, and her nerves were getting the best of her. He was at least acting as if he wanted to take care of her. She wasnt sure if it was genuine but at this point.. She just needed to trust him. She looked at the small pool of water, cocking her head. She had never been in a deep cave, and she had no idea there was water in caves! The dens she had lived in, had all been just stone, or hollowed wood.

When he made his comment, she glared at him but stepped forward, doing as he asked.
"What is it?" She asked, wondering what he had in mind.

Azrael:
He chuckled again when she glared at him and shook his paw slightly.
"Just water. Freezing water, but water," he explained, pressing his cold, damp paw to her cheek. He dipped his paw back into the water, not liking the temperature at all, but he ignored it. His paw wet and cold, he drew it back out and reached up, finding the bump on her head and pressing his paw to it.

"How's that?" Az was happy that she was being so agreeable. He'd actually expected her to be more... difficult with him, fighting or at the least yelling at him. Or crying, he would have hated that. But no, and she didn't look frightened anymore. It made this so much easier for him. Images danced through his head, thoughts that caused him to smile with a bit more... malice was probably the best word for it. For some reason, he wanted her. Completely.
And he always got what he wanted.

Andais:
When he placed that cold wet paw against her cheek, she drew back her neck in surprise. She hadnt expected it to be so cold, yet it countered the swollen, warm feeling in her cheek. She leaned into his paw without thinking, just to feel more of the cold against her cheek.

When he spoke, she blinked back to reality and pulled back again. "Thats better.. Id say thank you but you did this to me..So.." She said, looking away from him and around the den. Then her gaze was back at her paws once more. She couldnt help it, it was her nervous tick, and if there was ever a time to be nervous it was now.

Azrael:
A rumble of a purr radiated out of Az's throat as he leaned close and tipped his head so that she could see his eyes. Awkwardly, yes, but she could see the narrowed look and smug smirk he wore.
"I can make it up to you," he purred at her, craning his neck so that he could give hers a light lick. He nuzzled his way up to her ear, purring the whole way. He nuzzled her ear, taking in her scent.

"Would you like that?" Oh, he didn't want to ask her that question. He didn't want to ask her for anything. But in the end he wanted her to be willing. There was nothing wrong with that, he told himself. A willing female made for much more enjoyment, on both ends. And yet even he knew, somewhere in his mind, that she was somehow special. He'd never kidnapped someone before. Lied, cheated, and bullied, but never taken someone against their will. But when she had said that she wouldn't come with him, he hadn't been able to stop himself.
Bewitching little minx.

Andais:
She had been in thought, and then he craned his neck so that she was forced to look into his eyes. She felt her heart in her throat, and she gulped a bit. Stepping back, she looked at him of her own accord, a questioning gaze on her face.
"How would you make it up to me? I don't make it a habit to agree to things when I dont know what Im agreeing to." She said. It was something that had done her well in life. He was being kind to her, and though she was held against her will she knew that he cuold have been much.. meaner. She was rather thankful that he genuinely seemed to give a damn about how she felt..Even if he had kidnapped her.

Weird.

Azrael:
"Mmm, I can think of a few ways," Az replied smoothly, the innuendo back in his tone as he continued to nuzzle around her ear. Damn, but she was being difficult. Was she being coy or did she really not catch on? His tail curled around his side, only to snap back when it dipped into the water. He turned away from her with a growl, glaring at the pool as if it was somehow out to ruin him on purpose.

"But here is no place for that," was all he said before standing and moving back into the main part of his den. To the farthest back corner was where he went, to a pile of furs. They were mostly from prey-beasts, but a couple had come from would-be usurpers who hadn't taken no for an answer when they had tried to take his land from him.
He didn't take kindly to thieves who questioned his power.

He flopped down on the pile, glad for the cushion against the cold, hard cave floor and leaving enough room for his pretty Andais. She might have gotten some sleep, but he'd carried her all the way home and had waited up for her to awake. It had been an eventful evening and he wanted nothing more than to curl up with a beautiful lioness and get a bit of rest.

Andais:
She figured it out after that, and she knew what it was he was going to try to get from her. She gave a small glare but it wasn't too deep. She had given in to things to get out of things, and maybe this was one of those times.

"Okay." She whispered, and watched as he flopped on the bed of furs that he had made. Indeed it did look soft, and she knew he would command her over.. So she did one better, and stepped forward on her own, approaching him in the bed of furs.

She had been sleeping sure but her throbbing head had made for a not so nice sleep. She stretched out her muscles, stretching her toes, before standing straight back up, and lying next to him. He was warm, and she was scared.. and his body offered her a feeling of security in the darkness.

Azrael:
Az huffed a bit at her response to his actions. Her movements were almost mechanical, not as if she really wanted to come to him. Very well, he'd just get some sleep.
When she laid down next to him, he rolled onto his side and one paw shot out, wrapping around her shoulders and tugging her firmly to his chest. He tucked her head under his chin and breathed in her sweet scent again. A smile returned to his face.

"You're mine, Andais. And I never let go of what is mine," he whispered in the darkness of his den. He wasn't sure if she heard him over the white noise of the falls and he really didn't care.

Andais:
Her movements might have been mechanical, but the fact that she had come to him at all was a step forward. She knew that it was futile to resist, and it wasnt like he wasnt at least kind to her. She rather liked that.. But she had a hard time getting over the fact that he had knocked her out to get her here at all. If he hadn't, she might have been out in the sunshine by now.

He wrapped his paws around her, tucking her into him and she was welcoming of the cuddling. It made her feel safe and thats all she wanted. She sighed, but it was that sigh you get right before you start trying to fall asleep. Then she heard his words and she gulped.

"Sleep well, Azrael." She responded, not sure what to say.
