Personality: Tengo was always a kind, wise, and very happy soul until the day he lost his wife to a hollow. After he had learned what had happened he blamed himself for years for not being there to protect her. He was in this state for so long until the day he realized he would have to find the hollow that killed her to get closure. The day he found it he did not hesitate to kill it in an instant, but from then on he was depressed and always looked has if he was still grieving over her death. He was still wise but rarely ever spoke unless it was giving orders to his squad, he is also now very defensive over his squad and loved ones even more than ever to be exact. Unless he is absolutely sure the person he is assigning a mission can handle it he will not assign it to them. He is now a very quiet and very full of sorrow individual that never got over her death. His new defensive attitude has lead him to many injuries to prevent anymore deaths in his squad. Though he has lost some members there are very few losses in his squad since his wife was killed.

~Zanpakuto Information ~
Zanpakuto Name: Baransupuren ( Balanced Plain ) Tengo's unreleased zanpakuto that appears to be a double-edged tanto that lacks a stabbing point. The double-edged blade appears to be about one foot in length, this is so Tengo can effectively hide his zanpakuto in his sleeve while unreleased. Due to there being no stabbing point Tengo's unreleased zanpakuto is mainly used for slashes. The grip of Baransupuren appears to be a silver-gray in color. The cross-guard takes the shape of an oval with four straight line-like decorations on it. The sheath Baransupuren is carried in is unknown, it is also unknown if he even carries it in a sheath. Tengo's zanjutsu skills are far superior to his Hakuda skills, and is also rather skilled with short weapons as well as normal length swords. It is rare for Tengo to draw his zanpakuto for no good reason, while he will draw it in an instant to protect his squad or loved ones.

Spirit Appearance: Baransupuren takes the form of an elderly woman with a small set ram horn coming out of her short grey hair, also from her waist down is the lower body of a ram as well almost appearing to be a Faun. She stands a rather short 5 foot three. Her face is covered in wrinkles and now has a face full of great sorrow. Her face used to be full of joy and envy to welcome any visitors but is now full of sorrow and great sadness for the death of Tengo's wife. Barandupren used to be so balanced with her emotions but is now unbalanced due to the lose and now does not care for her inner world at all. She is always staring at a picture of Tengo and his wife on the day of their wedding reflecting on how happy he was then, but is now left with not much of anything. Baranspuren started to build those statues of Tengo's wife to try and cheer him up but it never worked and he usually ended up knocking them down or breaking them. The inner world is closely linked to Tengo's emotions and when he is sad turns to a great mess, but when he is happy or defensive the world goes back to its original look. When Tengo enters the inner world he will sometimes come to look at the statues of his wife or start a conversation with Baransupuren and never finish it. Baransupuren is a very crushed spirit as well as Tengo for that matter, on a bright side Tengo has recently started to slowly get over his wife's death and start talking to Baranspuren more. Time to time when Tengo is up to it he will help Baransupuren clean the inner world, due to this Baransupuren's emotions are slowly coming back into balance. In shikai state she draws her zanpakuto and her horns grow quiet a bit, in bankai her horns grow very large and she gain a rather large ram body.

Spirit Inner World: Tengo's inner world appears to be a very untended and wildly growing bonsai garden full of broken and crumbling statues of his deceased wife, instead of neatly trimmed bonsai. Each statue is covered in moss and all kinds of vines of wild vines, the statues who's faces that are in tact appear to be crying. Wild flowers and all kinds of weeds thrive there along with wildly growing tress and just abandoned old structures of meditation. The bridges are covered in slippery moss and the railing is sneered in vines with poisonous leaves. The small streams are overflowing constantly feeding the weeds untamed growth, the stones in the what appears to be an old stone garden are all out of order and also covered in moss. The inner world used to be neat and full of order with a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. The weeds used to be tamed and the trees neatly trimmed. The statues used to be bonsai trees on severed stumps from trees that Tengo, his wife, and Baransupuren used to keep in great shape. The stone garden was full of beautiful stones and the bridge was in great shape, while the stream never overflowed. The river has overflown from every tear Tengo has shedded tear from Tengo since his wife's death, the spirit now resides in under one of the meditative structures in sorrow wishing he she could have the old Tengo back.
Shikai Appearance:
Shikai Release Command: Entwine, Baransupuren
Shikai Release Appearance: To release his shikai, Tengo draws his zanpakuto if not already drawn and grips it outward facing his opponent with a one handed grip. The blade of the tanto is facing the opponent in about a 70 degrees angle. Shinegn's eyes suddenly gains a very strong intention to kill the opponent, this comes from his defensive change after his wife's death. He states in a strong and none lazy tone " Entwine, Baransupuren", his eyes then open wide with a very strong and defensive look in his eyes. The blade then is covered in a by a silver light and starts to change shape. The blade still is double-edged and gains a fine stabbing point, the blade grows about three and a half feet. The cross-guard then changes into what looks like two small stubby wings and curve in on each tip facing upward toward the blade. The handle the turns to a cylinder-like shape and kind of bulges out near the center, the handle of the blade is about five inches in length. The pommel takes the shape of a three pointed star with the points rounded out for balance, in the pommel is a small hole where two silver tassels hangs from by a silver small rope. The blade of the sword is so grey it almost looks black in color, while the stabbing point isn't just a sharp fine point but it is rather rounded out. The stabbing point is still able to pierce but doesn't look like it can. The blade closely resembles a Jian in appearance accept for one part of the sword, the blade of the sword has a slim oval-like center running from about a inch from the cross-guard to about two inches from the stabbing point.

Shikai Attacks:
Guretooku no Karanda Bainzu ( Entwined Root Burial of The Great Oak Tree ): Baransupuren is a plant-type zanpakuto by nature, this ability is what caused it to be classified as a plant-type zanpakuto. To activate this ability Tengo stands on his left leg with the while the right leg's foot is against his left leg's knee. He then holds his sowrd with his right hand and pulls it a little past the left side of his head, his left hand comes through the bend of the arm with his fingers forming what appears to be a half tiger symbol. He the lunges forward with great strength using his hips for extra force by removing his foot from his knee and adding the force of that onto the lung. The swords is lunged at at a fast rate into the ground completely concealing the blade into the earth. If Tengo is caught in areal combat the attack can not be activated, due to its nature of attack. Then huge thick and strong roots shoot out of the ground around the opponent completely wrapping the opponent in them. To give the command to finish the opponent Tengo twists the blade in the ground. The roots then crushes the entwined opponent sending blood and a terrible scream of pain out of open spaces in the roots. The roots then pulls the dead body underground to enrich the soil with the opponents carcass This ability doesn't always have to be used to kill the opponent and is also useful for capture missions. Another use for this ability is interrogation to get information out of the captured enemy by slowly crushing the enemy until they talk, or kill them if they don't.
Karanda no Idaina Okenshiruda ( Great Oaken Shield of Entwined Roots ): This ability Tengo perfected to balance his offensive and defensive powers when in his shikai state. To activate this ability Tengo slides his hand across the blade of picking up spore-like spiritual pressure onto his hand. Tengo then slams his hand on the ground with his palm as if he were striking a foe that was there, he hits the ground so hard that he forces the spore-like spiritual pressure about three feet into the ground. Then massive roots shoot up from the ground entwining together form a ten foot tall shield that is also ten feet wide. The more spiritual pressure he picks up from the blade the bigger the shield of roots. This ability is also utilizable from the air if he focuses enough of the spore-like spiritual pressure into his palm and then throws it at the ground hard enough. If times right this ability can also entwine the opponent if the shield for interrogation. This oaken shield can be strengthened by focusing more of his spiritual pressure into the spores to further strengthen the shield. Before the shield is strengthened it can resist up to the level 60 in the way of Destruction, when strengthened it can resist up to the level 90s in the way of Destruction arts. Before strengthened it can resist up to a gillian level cero, after it is strengthened it can resist a fully charged cero up to a segunda level espada. This is also one of the strongest defensive abilities in the Soul Society.
Bankai Appearance:
Bankai Release Appearance: To unleash his bankai, Tengo spikes his spiritual pressure to its max and gives of a loud scream that sounds like he just lost a loved one. He then elbows the blade of his shikai breaking it into two uneven parts, the sword then turns to spore-like spiritual pressure and takes root into the ground. Tengo then spikes his spiritual pressure again to feed the growth of the spore-like spiritual pressure. Then a forest of one-hundred foot tall oak trees sprout in a square mile radius, Tengo then spikes his spiritual pressure one more time to feed the trees making them hard as diamonds. After this all takes place in his hand he holds a dagger with a eight inch with a smooth sharp blade that lacks a stabbing point, so it is used no just for slashes and sneak attacks. Him and his opponent then appear on opposite sides of the massive forest, Tengo then states with a voice that echos throughout the forest "Bankai, Baransu no Toreta Futsubuh." Now no one is able to leave or enter the forest due to an invisible barrier that keeps anyone from leaving or entering. Tengo is now able to sense wherever the opponent is in the forest, he is able to control the growth of the trees making the branches grow and extend to sneer the opponent. He is also one with the forests root system, while all the trees are linked to the same system allows his to move through the trees. Due to him being linked to the root system allows him to sense whatever touches a tree so he can instantly know where they are. This is considered one of the more stronger releases also as the most trickiest bankai to fight against. The abilities from shikai are carried over.
Bankai Ability:
Guretooken no Ichimori ( One With The Great Oaken Forest ): This is the only ability that is granted to Tengo after releasing his massive bankai. This ability allows Tengo to become one with his bankai and its root system, by materializing into the gigantic oak trees and moving with the root system. This can be used for quick transportation throughout the bankai's forest range or for spying on the opponent to find out what he is planning. If there is many opponents Tengo might wait for them to split up and then pick them of one by one. Tengo has memorized where every root leads to over the years granting him easy control over this ability. It is said the Tengo can even out run a flash step master when moving through the root system. He can get from one side of the forest to the other in the blink of an eye. This ability also makes for perfect assassinations and as stated surveillance to gain the knowledge of the opponents tactics and easily out do them.

Mekkyaku juji (Quincy Cross) - The Mekkyaku Juji is a standard issue item that all Quincy possess. This talisman is used to channel energy from the surroundings and create a bow from pure reishi. There are two types of Mekkyaku Juji’s in existence.
The Cross – Used by low level Quincies and Apprentices
The Five Point Pentacle – A true mark of a Quincy, mostly used by high level Quincies and head of houses. A five point Mekkyaku Juji is given a name by their Quincy master, much like Ishida Uryuu’s Ginrei Kojaku. Each Quincy is given the Cross type Mekkyaku Juji but once they receive the right training, the Pentacle is then obtained.
Sanrei Shuto (Sanrei Glove) - The sanrei glove is a powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but requires difficult and dangerous training (wearing it for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows) to master. The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area. If a Quincy can summon a bow and hold it for the required amount of time, they will experience a massive increase in power.
The bow that the Sanrei Shuto summons is automatically in Overdrive mode and when the glove is broken off, the Quincy can use the highest level of the Letz Stile – The Master level. The only difference is that the glove will not allow the bow to enter its spirit form and stay materialised until sealed back into the glove.
Then the glove is being worn, the Quincy is not able to use any of the Mekkyaku Juji because it channels all the energy of the user into the glove.
Seele Schneider (Kon o kirisaku mono) - The Zeele Schneider is a portable arrow that doubles as a sword in melee combat. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles.
Hollow Bait - This item is a small coin-shaped disk that attracts hollows when crushed. Though the amount of hollows attracted vary, it is advised that this item be used with extreme caution.
Soushingu (Quincy Bangle) - The Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles. When activated, it forms a metal bow on the user's hand and gives them an appropriate Quincy outfit to match. The bangle is an unstable and delicate device, which eventually falls apart with extended use. The bow it creates has a huge drawback in that spirit particles must be gathered and charged to be of any use; doing otherwise greatly weakens the power of the resultant projectiles. The arrows also seem to fire erratically, sometimes curving away from their intended target. Furthermore, if shot at the time when the device is at its maximum power, it could explode, killing the user and destroying anything else nearby.
Gintou Silver tubes - Gintou are small liquid-filled capsules that are able to contain energy of the user. Though they are useless on their own, once they are used by a Quincy they can create an effect much like how Shinigami kidou work. Also, when using a Gintou, the Quincy must chant the incantation for the spell to take shape.
There is a set amount as to how much Gintou a Quincy can carry at one time. A quincy can carry a maximum of 20 tubes at once.

Reiryoku Absorption - Shika primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and has an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. He can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes.
Reiryoku Manipulation- Shika most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords (Seele Schneiders) or Silver Tubes. Shika has also found a way to compact Reiryoku over his body to create a temporary armor against other Spiritual entities.
Great Spiritual Power- Shika has displayed a great amount of spiritual energy. He has obviously mastered the Quincy ability of Reiryoku absorption, taking in spirit particles and spirit energy alike; This on top of his own energy reserves lends him plenty of strength in combat. Shika has at most fired 3,972 arrows at once.
Experienced Swordsman Shika is highly capable of fighting with swords, and mainly uses Seele Schneider's as a means for close-quarters-combat. He also uses the curved ends of his bows in combat.
Gintō Expert - He is able to use the spiritual energy stored in the silver tubes to create similar effects to Kidō; Shika can even use his own energy rather than the energy stored in the silver tube.
Seele Schneider Expert - Shika is highly capable of using the soul cutting sword with great proficiency, and has a high level of swordsmanship that matches that of most captains.
Ransōtengai - A high level technique known to be quite rare to ever be encountered. Shika is well versed in the use of this ability, which was not possessed by a good majority of the former living Quincy. He is able to use it to such an extent to be able to control other things, as well as being able to restrict other peoples movements and animate dolls or other inanimate objects.
Hirenkyaku- Shika is highly skilled in the use of the technique. He is able to move faster than most captains. Shika similar to Uryu, another Quincy, can create platforms to move across. He is not however as good as Uryu despite his age.
Sanrei Glove Master - After intense training, Shika mastered the Sanrei glove and it appears to be a sentimental object to him.
Quincy Final Form - Because of his mastery of the Sanrei Glove, it is possible for him to acess the quincy final form. This however would cause Shika to lose his powers. Shika has used this once time and almost killed himself in the process. Unlike Uryu he somehow multiplied his Reiryoku by 100. This caused severe muscle/tissue damage and many broken bones.
Quincy Bow Appearance: Shika's Spirit bow is called Dying Crimson Lotus, Soon to Reincarnate (Note: This is the longest known Bow name). It originally appeared as a mauve colored energy bow, until his mastery of the Sanrei Glove. With it, it becomes a dark red, almost crimson colored metallic bow. The ends are curved and resemble sickles. The thread gives off an ominous red glow. His Quincy Cross is a Crimson red with an eerie fire shaped glow.

Quincy Bow Attacks:
Drache Durchstößt Kopf (lit. Dragon Piercing Head)- Shika will pull back and a red arrow will form. As it is released fire will pour from the tip and shape into a dragon's head. On impact it will implode and burn its target to a great extent.
Dreizack-Speer Schlägt Mann (lit. Trident Spear Strikes Man)- Shika will create an abnormally large arrow. The arrow has a trident instead of a tip and a red glow. When fired it will soar through the air and will pierce the target. With good aim, a strike through the chest is a one shot kill.
Das Sprengen des Einflusses (lit. Exploding Impact)- He will fire a regular arrow with a large aura. When impact is made, it will explode and create a large hole in the targets struk area. This will cause extreme blood loss or death.
Rote Aura (lit. Red Aura)- Shika will bend the Reiryoku charged from the bow to create a thick barrier over his body. This aura will block most attacks, including sword strikes and simple Cero.
Overdrive Form Appearance:
Overdrive Form Abilities: He has a special ability that lets him further enhance his Spirit Bow. This evolution is equivalent to the Shinigami Bankai. It is renamed Bloom thy Lotus, Petals fall and Die. When it evolves it becomes a thicker version of its metallic form with ends. Shika's entire right arm gains a red guard and glove with white trimming. He also gains a broad shoulder guard with a white Quincy Cross on it. His Bow gains a cross hair that enhances the sight and accuarcy.
Overdrive Form Attacks:
Pyromane (lit. Pyromaniac)- When firing an arrow, Shika will release a Reiryoku burst that will create a trail of fire from the tail end. This will speed up the arrow and give extreme force when impact is made.
Blut Rote Lotusblume wird von seiner Basis Fallen (lit. Blood Red Lotus will Fall from its Base)- Shika will slam his Bow into the ground creating large cracks about 10 meters long. From the cracks heat will emerge and slowly react to any Spiritual energy in the area. The heat will slowly burn the other Spiritual energy in the area and slowly give to Shika.

• Gegenstrom ( Reversed Flow )
By countering air as it flows toward the user, a Quincy can expel a sharp gust of wind to the north, east, or west of itself. If thrown back at an enemy the momentum of their own attack adds to Gegenstrom's for a knock-back effect
Incantation: Counter reality, o shattered dreams – Uranagare Henshou!
• Gritz
A binding technique that creates a human sized pentacle that envelops the target and crushes it to death. This spell restricts the movement of all the main limbs of the target.
Incantation: “A silver rod strikes the five fingered stone bed, Quintuple Restraining Frames!”
• Himmel (Sky)
Throwing gintou to the ground, the user is engulfed by the energy of the tubes. As the energy dissipates, the quincy has wings of energy that allow him/her to fly for short distances at normal land speed and Hirenkyaku burst speed. Himmel lasts for only two rounds.(two rounds meaning two turns by the user in a 2 person collab)
Incantation: A white feather floats above, is it an omen or a blessing? Soar!
• Heizen ( Heat )
Heizen is a Gintou technique that creates a transparent rectangular beam of energy that can slice through an opponent.
Incantation: “Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice. Sacred Bite!”
• Hochofen (Blast)
By throwing the gintou towards the target, the user is ale to create a burst of flames that engulfs it and incinerates anything that it touches.
Incantation: A Lion’s roar echoes through the mountains, instilling fear to those who can hear. Disappear!
• Leere ( Void )
Extends around a physical or spiritual pressure, tightening to try and crush the object or energy source with a fierce gravity field. Ineffective against attacks valued higher than user's Ginkaihou stat; if valued higher, the attack reverses and explodes back out.
