Matthew and Lucy sing to any song that came on the radio. Matt was driving his little sister to a friends house for a day or two. Matthew didn't mind her going to a friends house but from what has happened lately, she was only staying for a few hours while he went shopping for stuff they needed for the next month. And since they only had a truck, he needed the passenger seat for the bags. He promised to pick her up when he went to get Nuime so they could spend the rest of the day at the mall and go out to eat before heading home. Matt began thinking about his birth mark and his new powers.'I wonder If there's anyone else other then Nuime and myself In this city that have powers... Why do we have them In the first place and how are they connected to our birth marks?' He thought to himself before stopping Infront of their friends house. Lucy have Matt a hug before getting out and running over to her friend that was the same age as her, her name was Amy, the girls ran to the back yard were the puppys were. Matthew talked to Amy's mom to let her know he'll be back later to pick her up. After that, he said good bye and drove off. He began thinking again and decided to stop by Nuime's house to see If she wanted to go with him, he could always put the bags In the back of the truck and tie them down so they won't fly away. Matt listened to the radio before he got to Nuime's house, he turned his car off and got out. He went to the front door and knocked a few times before waiting.

It wasn't long before Nuime's aunt, Angelica, answered the door, smiling at Matthew. Nuime still lived with her rich aunt, who she calls Aunt Ange, though they don't treat each other like an aunt and niece. Instead, they almost got used to thinking of each other as simply roommate, or at least something close to it. Anyways, Aunt Ange smiled at Matthew and nodded as she recognized him before turning around in the doorway to yell up the steps. "Nuime! Matthew's here!" With another grin to Matthew, she left the doorway. Nuime slid down the railing and landed almost lightly on her feet before trotting over to the door, smiling as well when she saw Matthew. "Hi there, Matt. Long time, no see," she joked. Compared to Matt's mark, where his is just a rather small tattoo and easily hidden tattoo, Nuime's looked like black stitches that seemed to sever her body into pieces, almost like she was sewn together like a doll. There were a few stray markings too, including one that went over her left eye. For a while she had tried covering them, but she didn't mind them much anymore and was quite proud of them, at least until they found out about their powers. Having powers could only mean trouble was coming. "So what'cha doing today?" Nuime asked, leaning against the doorframe.

Meanwhile, deep within the city, Tsuki and Taiyou were simple wandering around together. They blended in nicely with the crowd, as they looked rather human compared to some of the Demons. They stopped at a TV store, seeing a bunch of TVs in the window. The TVs were showing a news cast, informing that lately there have been mysterious accidents in major city factories, causing them to explode. The cities have been forced to evacuate as the city was going into ruins with more destruction. They still don't have any clues to who the people/person responsible are. Tsuki and Taiyou merely smirked at the news cast and continued along their way. They came to this town next to destroy, but they sensed something different in this town. A threat, or at least sources of power similar to their own: Marked.

Matthew smiled and nodded In return. He chould help but grin when Nuime slid down the railing. "Not much, I just dropped Lucy off at Amy's house. I was wondering If you wanted to come with me, I have to do the monthly shopping trip." He said as he rubbed his head a bit. Matt hated shopping and always asked Nuime to come along. "And If you want, you can come over to day. Lucy Is looking for someone to teach her how to draw." He said before lowering his voice so only she chould hear him. "With them walking around I can't trust anyone but you."

Dante wasn't far from Tsuki and Taiyou, In fact. He was on the same sidewalk as them. "Amazing Isn't It? It only took one day to cause destruction to one city and kill so many gifted people~" He said as he pasted them, he had a wide smile.

Nuime sighed slightly when Matthew whispered them, nodding slightly. "It's alright. I understand your concern. And I'd love to teach her to draw. It sounds fun~" she said with a smile. She kissed him lightly on the cheek before disappearing inside the house again, returning this time with a small backpack she always carried around with her. After shutting the door behind her, she nodded to him again. "Ready to go when you are. We can have drawing lessons at either your house or mine, or I can enroll her in the Art Classes I'm taking. There's lessons for younger students or simply people who are just starting out with drawing. There's a few different classes of that, but I can make sure Lucy is in my sights all the time. I'll pay for lessons to if you want. It's not that big of a deal~"

The twins continued walking, their smirks growing wider. They easily caught up to Dante and walked by his side, Tsuki on his right and Taiyou on his left. "Of course, there wasn't any of the Marked where we attacked. Sad," Tsuki said softly along with a small giggle. "But don't worry, dear Sister. We can sense there's some here in this city. This one should be more fun," Taiyou said with a grin. "Now how about you, Dante?" "Find anything interesting lately?"

"As long as she's with you, I guess anywhere Is fine." He said before returning her kiss. "If you really want to pay for her classes I won't stop you, this Is something you two can do together while I'm at work." Matthew smiled and walked to the truck, he opened the passenger door for Nuime and waited.

Dante grinned. "Yes, I found two very Interesting people. Both Marked." He said before almost jumping with joy. "I can't wait to kill them both~"

kaede didn't like leaving his house but it was ether go to the store or starve so he slipped on his shoes and clipped the chain of his wallet to his belt loop then stuffed his wallet into his pocket and headed out but had to hurry to get home in time to take his pill,he use to take them three times a day but started only taking one a day which seemed to work,Kaede passed a few people on the street he knew but ignored them and looked at the ground as he walked.

Nuime followed Matthew to the truck and nodded, climbing into the passenger side with a small grin. "Of course. The next class is tomorrow, alright? I'll get you some more information on that later once I get everything set up with the office."

Tsuki merely laughed and rolled her eyes, poking Dante in the forehead. "You know you can just relax about that. All will be dead in due time... Mind giving me a preview on these two people that are Marked?... I want to see if they're really interesting as you say..." she said with a smirk. Taiyou only grinned, as he listened since he was the "servant".

Meanwhile, a black haired boy with a baseball cap wandered the streets with his hands stuffed in his pockets. Jakob kept to himself, his hat usually pulled over his eyes, but he hesitated for a moment in front of some houses. He suddenly vanished from sight and was perched in a tree, watching Lucy and Amy play together in the backyard. He bit his lip while his eyes were on Lucy. He shook his head and disappeared to the nearby park, sitting on a bench with his hat pulled over his eyes again. Jakob's face was slightly red as he sat alone.

Matthew nodded and closed her door, he went around the truck to the driver's side and got In. He started the car and drove off. "I can't help but worry about her through... I thought she would grow up like a normal kid but with everything that's been happening, she's gotten sucked Into It." He said as he kept his eyes forward. "Then again, I may be too protective of her."

"Well, I only know their first names. The male Marked Is Matthew, he's 20 years old and lives In a apartment with his younger sister Lucy who's a human. She's 13. The Female Marked Is Nuime, she's 19 and lives with her aunt who Is very rich. As far as I know, the boy can use water and the girl has healing." Dante said before glancing down at his hand which was a bit red, he opened his hand and a small flame appeared. "I want to fight the water boy."

Lucy and Amy were still playing with the dogs, both giggling and smiling. Lu-lu paused for a moment and glanced up at the tree Jokob had been In, she didn't see him but she did get a weird feeling for a moment. She shook It off and went back to playing.

Nuime shook her head and stared out the window as she rode in the passenger's side. "Nah. It's more than likely because of what has been happening. You have a right to be protective of her," she said simply. She started humming softly to herself, thinking about later in the day as well as getting the Art Class set up for Lucy.

Tsuki laughed a bit at Dante's flame and his desire to fight the water boy. "I don't see why not. We can use the healing girl or the human girl, or maybe both, for bait. Besides, I would love to take a bit out of that Marked Female... She seems interesting... Taiyou." "Yes, Sister?" "See what else you can find out about these people." Taiyou nodded and disappeared from sight, hurrying off to track down Matthew, Nuime, or Lucy.

Jakob still sat on the bench for a bit, sighing softly to himself. I'll never get her to like me if I just act like a creeper... dammit what the heck am I supposed to do?! He grabbed the sides of his head and gritted his teeth, feeling angry at himself for no reason. He had to keep control or else he'd go on a rampage again, and that wouldn't be good for anyone. Jake got to his feet and hurried off out of the park, running along the streets.

Matthew nodded faintly. "Hopfully, nothing will happen while we're gone." He said with a sigh. They arrived at a city shopping mall, Matt always came here for food, drinks, clothes, etc. He parked the car and turned It off before getting out.

Amy's mom came out side and get the girls together, once they packed a lunch, they left In the car and went to the park to play for a while.

Kaede hurried into the grocery store and got what he needed,paid for the items then left,Kaede pulled his phone out of his pocket and flipped it open to see what time it was "eight minutes...crap" he said quietly and shoved the cell phone back in his pocket and stared at the ground as he walked so he wouldn't make eye contact with anyone.

Nuime followed Matthew out of the truck, glancing around for a brief moment. She saw some people, probably tourists in town. She knew they weren't locals because the locals knew better than to stare at her strange stitch-marks that laced her body. These people kept staring and started to whisper slightly. Nuime bit her lip and out of instincts, pulled her hat over her eyes and zipped up her jacket, crossing her arms over her chest. Unfortunately she couldn't magically make her shorts into pants to cover the markings on her legs.

Taiyou had caught what Dante said before he left and made a mental note. His first target, Lucy. He dashed off to the residential area, finding the right houses, but then he spotted Lucy with her friend, heading to the park. A small smirk crept onto his face as he secretly followed them for now.

Jakob continued running along the streets, ignoring most of the cars that went passed him. One caught his eye. Lucy! Without actually thinking it through, he hurried off back to the park, hoping he could at least get her to say hi to him. He made it to the park before the car did, but now he was really thinking about it and his mind started throwing out the worst situation. Jakob went back to sitting on a bench, more or less collapsed on it, and holding his head again. Dammit! Why does this always happen to me? He wanted to hit something, anything, but he knew Lucy would be here any second. If she saw he was a demon, she would never like him, just like his first crush.

Matthew saw the people stairing and whispering he knew they weren't from around here, he glared at them and gritted his teeth faintly. He wrapped a arm around Nuime's shoulder's before leading her towards the mall. "Sorry Nuime, I didn't think It was going to be like this."

Dante grinned and began heading to the park, he took the long way through to by some time.

Lucy, Amy and her mom arrived at the park. They got out and found a nice shade tree to sit under. Lucy and Amy ran off to play, both carring a small bottle of water Incase they got thristy. They played for a little while before Amy went back to her mom, leaving Lu-lu for a moment since she was catching her breath, they had been running around catching bugs or playing tag. Lucy looked around once she had her breath, she spotted Jakob on a bench holding his heda. She became worried about her so walked over to him, she stopping just out of arms reach. "Are you okay?" She asked before stepping closer, she held out the bottle of water. "You can drink It If you want, It might make you feel better~" Lucy said with a sweet and warm smile.

Nuime shook her head and looked up slightly once they were inside the mall. "I-it's alright... I guess I'm not used to still being stared at... Your Mark looks like a tattoo, so it's not such a big deal. Plus, you can actually hide your's..." she said softly with a sigh.

Tsuki, not having much else to do at the moment, followed Dante closely and walked by his side to the park. She knew that when Taiyou was finished with his recon assignment, he'd find her rather easily.

Jakob froze when he heard someone talking to him. He hesitated but slowly looked up to see Lucy standing there, smiling back at him. His face turned crimson and he could feel his heart pounding loudly inside his chest. Did Demons even have hearts anymore? Apparently so. He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out, so instead he merely nodded and took the water bottle. His fingers brushed against her's for just a split second before he pulled back with the bottle in hand. He took a quick drink, handing the bottle back to Lucy with his hand shaking just a bit. "Th-thank-ks..." Jakob said softly, his face still red.
Meanwhile, Taiyou followed Lucy, Amy, and her mother into the park. He stayed off to the side, sitting on another bench and pretended to be watching the birds while keeping an eye on Lucy. He was surprised to see her talk to Jakob. Taiyou personally knew Jakob, since they were both Demons. What surprised him was Jakob's behavior with Lucy. He's so red... Is that blush?... Does that Demon really think he can find love with a mere human?! Ha! Taiyou couldn't help snickering a bit to himself as he continued his little assignment.
