This RP takes place just after Sis miles magica!Avalon made it almost to her apartment building before she had to stop moving. It wasn't that she was winded, no; she'd run the whole way and felt just fine. She felt like her entire world had just crumbled around her ears, though. All the times she'd been researching, trying to find a way to stop powered beings, and now she found out that she was... something. Had she been wrong about the Negaverse and how they were awakened? No, she couldn't be. Zinkenite had all but converted her to whatever it was that night months ago when she'd punched him. Or stolen her starseed. One or the other. She'd just had an apple appear and now she was dressed in this stupid outfit with stupidly high heels and a stupid apple and she didn't know how to get back to herself again. She couldn't go home looking like this! But she didn't know how she could find Taranis or Wolframite--or if she even should go find Wolframite--to get them to tell her what had just happened. Oh, God. She wanted to die. She just had to wait. Something would pop up. She'd find a way to get information and also to stop being... whatever she was! It didn't fit the mold of a senshi, she lacked the bows, and it didn't fit the Negaverse mold because she had never seen one wearing white. That was the closest parallel she could find, except she knew that Negaversers were made, and no one had--but what if-- "Oh God," she repeated, putting her head in her hands and hunching over. Maybe she just needed a minute to chill.

No matter what happened in space, he had to keep in mind that there were still people that needed help on Earth, too.
It was a careful balance. One night in the surrounding, one night in Destiny City. Rince and repeat.
He wasn't sure what led him to his old apartment building - nostalfgia ? But nonetheless, Sailor Themis was there, and had just finished a quick leap on the roof before an aura caught his attention.
A page, in fact, and she... looked quite distraught ? Hm.
He jamp down, landing in the back alley before making his way out. "Hey." He called out to her. "Are you alright ?"

No she was not alright, she thought, looking up. She never thought she'd be so relieved to see a senshi, even one with ridiculously large wings on his a**. "No, what part of me looks alright," she asked, accusingly.
Just to impress the full impact of her predicament into this strange senshi, she launched into a full-length explanation: "I just got attacked by a monster, a ******** apple appeared out of nowhere glowing like it was made of god damn sunlight and then when I took it it turned me into this and then I hit the monster in the face with the apple and kicked it and it disappeared into dust." What part of that was normal! None of it was normal, that's what, you didn't usually kick giant wolf dog chimera things in the face and dissolve them, that just didn't happen.
She took a deep breath. "And now," she said. Another deep breath, and she gestured at the tunic and uniform. "And now I am stuck. Shouldn't it be simpler to stop being a terrorist? I just want to go back to being me so I can go home!"

Cranky much ? Really, a part of him wanted to leave her right where and carry on - the slight narrowing of his eyes would betray that - but Themis just didn't have it in him to abandon someone in need, sucker that he was.
She launched into her predicament and, well... That was fairly standard fare for Destiny City. This probably wasn't gonna be what she wanted to hear, through.
He had to admit he'd never heard of anyone using killer fruit before, through. That was weird.
"You're not a terrorist." He assured her. "You're a page. Earth Knight, if im not mistaken." He knew that symbol very well, now.
For the latter predicament... "Just think of, well, the normal you. You should power down." Hey... it had worked for Camelot.

Avalon would have been more circumspect, except no part of her was feeling polite. She was stuck, and didn't know what to do or where to go to, which was a profoundly unsettling experience for someone who was used to knowing the ins-and-outs of things she did before she did them.
"A page," she said, looking at him like he'd grown two heads. "I've never heard of those." And she knew a lot about the senshi and Negaverse, compared to most of the civilians. For instance, she knew an approximate death toll, she knew how they were doing it, she had an inkling of what they wanted. Also, she knew they broke into news studios while impersonating their enemies and threatened the lives of the people working inside. As Wolframite had done...
She took a deep breath. "Think of the normal me? While you're right here?" Whatever, senshi were the good guys and the a** wings pretty much promised her that he was a senshi. She'd never seen a Negaverser in such an unreasonable outfit. Avalon took another deep breath, and a moment later the uniform melted away to reveal--
Tate Konstantin. What, were you expecting a beautiful enchantress?

"They're pretty new. Only been around for... a few months, tops." Again, he was amazing at keeping tabs of time. And as always, this powered up s**t didn't come with an handbook, but thankfully he had some base knowledge on knights, but more importantly, he would be able to point her toward someone who knew more than he.
...Next step would be to power down a little more well-hidden, was Themis' first thought, until the obvious slapped him in the face.
Perhaps he hadn't been expecting a beautiful enchantress, but in a way the last thing he expected to see was Tate Konstantin. The reactions were instinctive and impossible to ignore - wide eyes, and the plain in simple "...Oh."
Yeah, he knew her. But she wouldn't know him, not like this. "Hm. Congrats on falling down the rabbit hole ?"
Yeaaaaah.

Pretty new? New factions were being introduced, what in the world... she scowled, and rubbed at her face. "I'm not that horrible to look at," she snapped, a mannerism that Themis would probably find much more familiar since he knew Tate. She pushed away when she ought to pull. It didn't make her all that many friends.
"Doesn't feel very congratulatory," she mumbled. The front of her slacks on her left thigh was ripped open in four parallel lines, exposing painful-looking scratches, and she pressed her hands over the drying blood. Her tunic had hidden the corresponding bloodstain from view while she was sitting, and now she just felt... hurt. And unhappy. And she wanted to go back to bed, right then. "But thanks, I guess."
Experimentally, she imagined being Avalon Page again--she guessed that was her name. Page Avalon just didn't feel right.
The green-clad page sighed and tapped her feet. "So. ... I'm Avalon. Avalon Page of Earth, if you're right. And you probably are. It feels right." Her gut had never been a particularly believable one, though. Maybe he was wrong. She wouldn't know.

Yep. Suddenly all of this made complete sense now that he knew Tate was at the wheel. And all inclinations to be difficult and let her handle herself had vanished.
He did like Tate, after all.
"Avalon..." That reminded him of something, but... He'd need to look it up. "Im Sailor Themis. I don't know too much about knights, through I know a few... If you have more questions, I'll do my best to answer them, and if I can't, I'll point you toward someone who can."
He paused. A part of him was conflicted at seeing Tate as a part of this war, but... perhaps being powered was the only true way to be safe. Sometimes he couldn't tell.
When he spoke again, it was in a lower voice - the air was clear of other auras, sure, but better safe than sorry. "When you're Avalon, no one can tell you're Ta- I mean, who you are." Crap. Cover blown. At least that explained the face he'd made.

She grumbled, scrubbing her palms over her head; dried blood flaked off into her hair, and she realized that she might not have had the best ideas there. "It's nice to meet you, Themis," Avalon said, possibly insincerely. With her, it was difficult to tell. "Thanks for that. I appreciate it." That was certainly sincere, you could tell because she was sincere because she said it practically into her uniform's high collar, and didn't make eye contact. Perverse, really.
During the pause, she adjusted the sigil on her boot. She didn't know why but she felt that marking was very important, on a level she could not quite articulate yet. It represented something important. It meant a Thing, in essence, and later she'd find out what it was.
Except then he slipped. Tay, he'd said, which she normally would have taken for some magical word except he did look sort of familiar... "You know who I am," she said, narrowing her eyes at him. "You almost said my name. Who are you? And how do you know me?"

...Whoops.
Superb going there, Themis. Completely superb. He liked to avoid revealing things like this, tried to keep his life and his senshi self separate, at least as much as he could. Two little neat separate boxes, in theory, which would have been much more efficient if he knew how to keep them separate and not let what happened in one affect the other.
Almost one year in the game, Themis still pretty much sucked at it. "I, um... Used to live in here." He gestured to the building. "Until recently. Saw you a few times."
Hopefully she'd leave it at that, but who was he kidding ? He was pretty certain that Avalon - Tate - wouldn't settle for that explanation alone.

Suspicion colored her expression like a particularly spastic three-year-old would fill in the pages of an activity book. She didn't believe him, that much was obvious; even more obvious was that she certainly didn't trust that he had her best interests at heart anymore. The auburn-haired Page of Earth got to her feet and staggered, then limped a few steps back, towards the building. "I never saw you," she said, accusingly. "I saw Taranis and I saw Leo and I saw Wolframite, but I never saw you."
Perhaps she shouldn't admit to knowing Wolframite, but she didn't find herself exactly caring right then. It had been a long day that had ended pretty badly, as far as she was concerned, with sunlight-filled apples appearing in front of her and then a monster attacking her and now she'd been a magical soldier of love and hope or whatever for five ******** minutes and already some stranger knew who she was! Great!
Avalon forced her voice to be level as she said, "So tell me the truth, how do you know how I am?"

"And that's actually a damn miracle in itself, when you think about it." No, really. There had been so many near-misses and Avalon certainly had no bloody idea.
They walked toward the building, and some more eloquent men might have worded their cases. Themis just leaned back against the building, powered down, and caught his pen in one hand before it could fall to the ground.
"This helps ? If it doesn't, my name is Xavier Avery, you brought me brownies after a negaverse lieutenant reamed a blunt object through my arm, and no, I don't have an evil twin." He offered, hopefully hoping this was gonna get Tate off the god-damn defensive, because it only really made him want to punt her. Pretty much the usual, really.

She hadn't often thought about it. Avalon's murky eyes narrowed as the blonde senshi followed behind her, and she bit her lip as she tried to decide what to do about it. The wingbow was a new thing, she'd never seen it before. What did it mean?
On another night, she would have asked. "I know who you are," she said, relieved; and she let herself be Tate Konstantin again, seeing that she did know this person. "You lived upstairs, but... then you moved out, later. And you didn't leave me an address! a*****e."
After a moment, though, the auburn-haired young woman ducked her head and mumbled, "Sorry." Though she didn't specify what for, Xavier could probably extrapolate that she was apologizing for snapping at him. Even Tate could recognize when she'd pushed too far.

Actually, Tate might have beneficied from looking at her facebook messages a little more often, but he figured now wasn't really the right time to point that out.
"It's okay. It's how the magic works." He said. "You don't know who's under the uniform... No one can guess, really, unless you show them. It can get confusing, sometimes."
He was probably glad the buttbow question had been avoided. Really.

She stopped in the doorway, holding it open for a moment but blocking the way inside with her body. "Well," she said, uncomfortably. "We should hang out sometime, then. You can tell me more about this... this whatever-this-is. And I'll bring muffins, or something. Does that sound okay?" It was unlike Tate to be conciliatory, unlike her to try to make up for the way she'd been acting. She generally believed that if anyone hung out with her, they deserved the sharper side of her tongue, but...
It seemed like she was trying very hard to ensure Xavier would still be willing to be friends with her.
"But... my leg really hurts, so, I'm going to go to sleep," she said after a moment, still standing in the doorway.
