Sonnet Sonnet sat watching the 3 baskets, his gaze drifting to Chan occasionally. In truth he had no idea what to do, watch the baskets, watch his resting mate... Baskets... Mate... Baskets... Mate.... He was feeling a little overwhelmed. Then again he had never believed that this was easy, all he could think of was to do his best and hope that was enough, and the right thing to do. As it was the baskets seemed happy to wiggle around, none had tried rolling off.... Yet....
Chandra Chandra smiled and nestled into her mates side, the warmth from Sonnet seemed to comfort her. Although this was exactly what she had wanted she couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed... three baskets... three babies... three mouths to feed and to look after, it was hard to even contemplating coping, yet with Sonnet by her side she knew she could do it. The birth had been... painful and tough, and although she had tried to use her healing magic the same way she did for the ladies she tended she hadn't been able to focus on the two things at once. In the end her natural instincts took over and things had just happened, three beautiful little lives being brought safely into the world. Closing her eyes for a moment she took a moment to simply enjoy what she had, soon the baskets would pop, they were wiggling and chirping more each day and soon their secrets would be revealed. Chandra had tried to sneak a peek at her children as they had been born and placed into their cozy homes, wings, flashes of purples and black... but nothing more. She murmed softly, "Thank you Sonnet.... what.... do you think we should call them?" She had been contemplating names for a long time, but none had really stood out so far, perhaps she needed to see her little ones first?

Sonnet Sonnet looked round, having thought Chan was sleeping, but she was awake enough to talk it seemed. "One, Two, Three not really an option I suppose." His tone joking tohugh it was how he had been keeping track of said baskets in his head, he had numbered them in order of their arrival, but they needed better names than just a number. Sighing and looking back at the baskets, he had never had to name anything before, how did you choose a name? He looked skywards hoping for a bolt of divine inspiration to at least kick things off.
Chandra Chandra found herself chuckling, she couldn't help it. Nipping Sonnets mane playfully she shook her head, "I don't think they would like one two three as they grew up...." The smile refused to move from her lips as she watched her three little wonderous miracles. "I...." She sighed, noticing his gaze had changed to look at the sky so she followed, "...have no idea."

Sonnet Sonnet smiled softly. "I guess the star's can't provide all the answers, though a little bit of a guiding light would be nice." His tone was serious but still light, Sonnet was rarely not light of heart. Looking to Chan and nuzzling him. "Maybe its because the northstar is hiding in the clouds, the other stars have no answer for us it seems." Looking back to the baskets, not sure why but he had somehow expected thme to show much more of their mother.
Chandra Chandra nodded and returned her gaze back to the innocent little baskets before her, she loved how they were mostly purple, taking after their father. When her father had first seen the baskets he had been drawn to the one with a splash of black upon it, she imagined it was because he couldn't deny the evidence that this one took after both her and him, of course he had loved them all, had sat talking to them and singing to them.... his grandchildren. Everytime Maion had come to visit it had made Chandra smile, her father had accepted that she was growing up, had accepted that her mate of choice was Sonnet..... she felt complete. Not really sure where the idea came from she said, "What star season are we in?" Chandra knew a little about the stars and the names, mostly it was about constallations and the patterns of the stars above them... she had grown up in a world of twinkling darkness after all.

Sonnet Sonnet looked surprised by the question, but thought about it a moment. "Umm... Virgo.... I think... Why?" Tilting his head, having brought his father to visit one of the days, not having left Chan till Maion had come by. He was aparently a overprotective worrywart of a father... But his dad had been overjoyed, and while his stay had been short he had no doubt the older stallion would be a more than willing childminder.... Though he hoped that his father left some of his stories at home... Esecially about his young days... his father had been a bit of a casanova after all....
Chandra Chandra lowered her head and rested it on the ground, her mind thumbling over different ideas. "Virgo...." She took a moment to contemplate the names, "Heze..... Auva.... Zaniah ... Spica.... Awwa...." The names she could remember stumbled forward, and she frowned as she tried to consider gifting them to her children. Would they grow to suit the names? Or would they hate her for using them? She wasn't sure.... Chandra knew her name was after the moon, a goddess of moonlight, but it had never bothered her what her name was, she supposed it might have had her parents called her 'poop' or something riddiculous like that.

Sonnet Sonnet watched chan, half an eye on the wiggling baskets, it seemed they had woken up too. Letting her work out whatever it was that she was thinking. Distracted as one of the baskets rolled into his side, this one was number 3, and oddly it already seemed like it was trying to proove being the youngest didin't matter. Chuckling as he set it on its base again.
Chandra Chandra found her thoughts distracted as a giggle erupted from her lips, one of the baskets had 'attacked' its father, rolling over in its enthusiasm, she was sure they were getting ready to pop from their cozy little homes, ready to wake up and become part of the world they had been brought into. "I think that one likes you," She chuckled nuzzling her mate as her eyes watched the other two, they were hopping and wiggling together but nothing as dramatic as the little basket beside it's father. Unable to stop herself she reached out and placed her hoof on the side of the basket with the black streak. It felt so warm, the life within it so obvious as it chirped loudly at the contact. It always suprised Chandra how they seemed to know when they were getting attention.

Sonnet Sonnet looked from one basket to another, glancing at Chan beofre following her gaze. His attacker was rolling like a spun penny on its last legs and cherping.... At least it was till it topled onto its side and rolled into its father again, a little nose appearing with a humph kind of sigh, clearly not having planned the falling over part. Sonnet trying not to laugh at it, but humpur in his voice was clear to hear. "Heze is a mini me it seems..." After all he had been awkward and a klutz as a foal.
Chandra Chandra smiled and nipped Sonnets mane, "You were adorable as a foal.... I knew you - remember." She said with a wink, remembering their adventures together, the truth was that they had such fun as children, learning to fly and playing together. Yet her attention was back on the baskets before long, "I think Heze is a beautiful name." She said, happy that one of the foals had been so excited about it. "Awwa." No one moved or chirped so she tried the next name, "Auva." She rather liked this name, it was soft and gentle and rolled off the tongue. For a moment there was nothing, no movement or chirping and then.... the quietest of the three baskets started to wiggle softly, almost not noticable until a strong little chirp erupted from it. Chandra blinked, not expecting the sound from it.

Sonnet Sonnet nodded and sighed, they would be harder to corral when they were out of the baskets. Then again he was rather tired now as there always seemed to be someone awake, he had been trying to give Chan all the rest she might want or need, but when that had him playing quiet silly little games with baskets in the middle of the night.... It could be draining, they had yet to have a regular sleep pattern.... As it was it left him with very little sleep, but he didn't mind. Resting his head down, finding one of the baskets snuggling up at him, surprised that it was Heze, but then it seemed 3 assassination attempts were all it could muster in one day.
Chandra Chandra snuggled into Sonnet, being carefull not to squish the little basket that had been snuggled up between them/ Her eyes felt heavy and she was sure she would drift asleep any moment. She did feel guilty that Sonnet had been taking up the slack that she had been leaving.... the birth had taken a lot out of her, and Chandra really wanted to be well rested for when her little angels popped, sure that she wouldn't getting the chance once all three were able to explore the wonderous world around them. "I love you." She chirped, before adding in a soft sleepy voice, "...I love all of you."
