Cameron had been exploring the Aquarius Outpost. He figured that if he was going to be stuck in some strange place in space then at least he would pick the one that felt most like home and this was certainly it. It had a huge library of books but he couldn't read any of them. He had no idea what language they were in and the pictures that many of them had could only get him so far.
So instead he looked around to see what else was here and eventually he found himself face to face with many scientific implements. Gizmos upon gizmos, come very familiar to Cameron and others completely new. This was absolutely fascinating and Cameron was like a child in a candy store. He was alone, idiot-free, and able to do whatever he wanted. There weren't even any terrorists, or as they called themselves, Senshi. At first he had wondered where such a name had come from, if it was some sort of abbreviation for something. Perhaps something like Soldiers Eradicating Naïve Humans Idea.
His hands brushed over some of the gizmos, and then some various papers that laid on the tables beside them. Dust flew up into the air, and Cameron couldn't help but take note of how dirty it was everywhere. It was like no one had cleaned the place in hundreds and hundreds of years. He couldn't help but cough loudly as it covered the air, his hands covering his mouth as he waited for the dust to settle.

Super Sailor Chibi Ixion had come to the Surrounding to help people. But rather unfortunately he didn’t exactly know how to do that. Unlike a few of the chibi girls, Ixion didn’t have a power that could be even remotely considered helpful. Hygeia could heal, Hypnos could … sort of help people to sleep, and Hug-Bell was in some ways, very comforting. But the senshi of coal was not inclined to sit around nursing people and tending to their wounds. The boy wasn't even 12 yet, he didn’t know how to care for an injured person. So instead, Ixion found someone to take him to a place where he could be somewhat useful; Aquarius Outpost. At least there Ixion could help clean up the place.
When he got there, he was surprised to find it full of books and strange instruments for experiments. He had wandered in behind a civilian, and got a lung full of the dust Cameron had disturbed. Ixion sputtered and coughed, backing away from Cameron.

The dust was settling but not before Cameron turned around on his heel to find the source of the cough that was echoing in the small area behind him.
He didn't exactly trust the senshi despite their "desire to protect everyone" because in the end they were just a group of people inflicting damage to society and harm to the people in their way. Sure, they were friendly enough with them now but tides changed and they were still treating everyone like prisoners. These were the reason why Cameron grabbed the first thing he could reach off the desk and held it in his hand to protect himself, rather then catch himself off guard.
"Who goes there?" He demanded.

Ixion was taken a back at the civilian’s grab for a ‘weapon’. “Just me! Sailor Chibi Ixion!” The boy continued to cough a bit, clearing the rest of his lungs out.
“What are you up to here?” It wasn’t an accusatory question, as Ixion was more or less trying to figure out where Cameron might need help with whatever his was going. Ixion sauntered up closer to Cameron and the desk. “That’s a cool thing!” He said, pointing at Cameron’s ‘weapon’.

The attempt at relieving any sort of danger Cameron was feeling was not successful when he announced himself as Sailor Ixion specifically. The chibi part had passed right over his head but the sailor part had not been unnoticed. He was one of those senshi, which labeled him automatically with suspicion. The suspicion didn't last very long though, quickly converting into disgust when out of the dust came a child. The terrorists were assimilating children into their cause!
The 'weapon' was raised into his hand and then set on top of the palm of his other as he held it out to the child to have a better look at it. He didn't have a problem with the education of children but he was feeling a bit confused when he looked at him. He was what? 10, 11, maybe 12? He certainly should be involved in the terrorism that the senshi took part in and the idea was quite disturbing. What had they told this child to get him to do such things? What exactly had they had him do? It was all very concerning.
"It is," he said. "We have all kinds of these at the laboratory at my school."

“I think I’ve seen something like that at my school too!” Though knightside wasn’t as advanced in their scientific equipment as Azure Academy was, being that their principle education was on creating the buildings blocks of knowledge and less so on expanding it, there were still a few basic things like telescopes and microscopes for the upper level classes.
“Do you know how it works?” Ixion settled in closer to Cameron, his eyes ogling the piece that he held. There was so much he could learn from space and the Aquarius outposts, he wondered if all the secrets of the universe might be explained here. Any trepidation that Cameron felt towards the young senshi, Ixion was mostly unaware of it.
“Keeping busy up here in space? Must be awful not to go home, but I guess this place sorta makes up for that huh?”

Cameron wouldn't have realized that Ixion went to Knightside, nor that Ixion was even from the same city as Cameron. It was more likely that he was from another part of the world than the same city as him. Really, what were the odds that both of them would meet in space and that they would both be from Destiny City? Well, Cameron wasn't positive whether the Senshi Terrorist group was all around the world (how ironic was that when they were in space), or just Destiny City. It seemed rather unlikely otherwise but Cameron knew that even elementary schools would likely have basic scientific instruments at them.
"I know how it works," he was proud to admit.
He wanted to tell the senshi that it was his fault that he couldn't go back home but on the other hand he was just a brainwashed child. It was never a fair to involve children and it just pissed Cameron off to think that senshi were so cruel and so stupid that they would need to use children for their terrorism. It was very likely the boy just wanted to do what all boys his age did: cool. He wanted to be a hero and be just like his father. He wanted to be acknowledged as a man and when thoughts and desires like that were brought to the open children were easy to manipulate into doing things that were wrong.
Cameron didn't want to imagine what they had convinced the child to do.
"At least it is not boring but even if they don't let me go home, you should go home while you can," he told him, a double meaning prominent in his wording. Surely he could use this time to escape the senshi's grasp on him and he if refused then he would just be another idiot. It wouldn't be very unusual since most children fell into that group.

For a minute, Ixion was excited to see how the object might work. But that moment was quickly passed over when Cameron mentioned let, and telling the boy he should go home. “It’s not that they won’t LET you. You can’t, for some reason. The zodiacs, they're working on it.”
Then Ixion backed up and folded his arms over his chest. Tell him to go home? What? Wasn’t he GRATEFUL that the young senshi stopped playing video games to come help out? “I don’t want to go home. Not yet, I came to HELP you.” There was a pause, and an indignant look cross the young boy’s face. “And I can go home any time I like, all I have to do is ask. You’re the one that’s stuck here for now.”

It was disgusting how deep the influence the terrorists had on this young boy, a scowl forming on Cameron's face as the thought made him want to throw up. He couldn't believe all of the lies that they had told him. Cameron refused to believe that all the terrorists could come and go but that the civilian prisoners could not. It was just too convenient that they could come and go but he couldn't. A prisoner in space. No one could hear him scream except the terrorists and fellow senshi, probably just what they'd like.
Certainly, was there no one who would rescue them? Unlikely. Cameron refused to believe in such luxurious things. Fairytales were far from the truth and no one on a gallant white horse was going to sweep down from the rainbow or yellow brick road to save him. In fact, it was quite likely Cameron would never leave this place, maybe even murdered by the terrorists to prove a point.
"Yes, I'm stuck here thanks to you people. Perhaps you should just go," he said sternly, finding himself disgusted the more and more the young boy spoke to him. He was getting tired of being a prisoner here and having lies spoken to him to try and cover their shame.

‘You people’ was the only word Ixion needed to hear before he acted. It was one thing to blame the senshi at first for the problem that had come up, but after all the efforts each and every senshi was making to ensure that the civilians were safe and comfortable . . . well that was just plain insulting.
Somewhere, in the back of Ixion’s mind, he knew that what he was about to do was wrong on some level. Surely an older senshi would chastise him for it if they found out. That ping of morality didn’t stop the young senshi however; his gloved fist still flew out and hit Cameron in the gut. Then he darted back, galloping to the door. Ixion didn’t want to stay in the company of anyone who thought he or his friends were jailers. “I will go, and you can go get eaten by my space monster for all I care. Doubt anyone is going to stop a brat like you from going out into the surrounding.”

The fact the little terrorist had attacked him sold Cameron's story as far as he was concerned. The fact he was a terrorist must have also been the reason that Cameron was hunched over with his arms around his gut. This child was such a brat and Cameron had no doubts that in a year or so when he was a bit older that brat would find himself as jailbait, labeled as a juvie and sent away to a Juvenile Correction Facility. How ashamed would his parents be? Cameron grunted, standing up. There was obviously no hope for that brat, and Cameron was done being nice to try and help correct him.
"Good riddance," he said in a whisper as he leaned up against a nearby wall with his arm over his gut.
If it had been almost anyone else that would have been the end but there was one final thought Cameron was lingering on. Not only did he have to be right, but he wanted to make sure the brat knew it as well. Super Sailor Chibi Ixion was already leaving but Cameron called out to him, "So how do your parents feel about your life? Are they ashamed they raised a hoodlum?" There was a brief pause and a smirk on Cameron's face as the realization hit him. "Oh wait, you haven't told them have you? Why don't you try it? Show me how right you are."
