I feel kinda cheesed off that Legendia is now coming to PS2, not GC. Anyone feel the same way? Also, are there any RPG's coming out for the Cube this year? (besides Fire Emblem, and Zelda does not count)

Its strange tho...

Namco bring out ToS on the Cube then the Ps2.
Namco cancel the US and Europe release of ToS on teh Ps2.
ToS sells well and has lots of fans on the Cube.

Now many people might only have a Cube ...so thinking about it Namco should give them the chance to play another Tales game.

BUT, not many RPG's are released on two home consoles...
And it might ToL might be for the Ps2 fans who didnt get ToS...

I dont know I just want Tales of the world: Narikiri Dungeon 3 which has the ToS characters and you can dress up as Mr Driller xd

Well, let's just say Nintendo has moved away from the RPG-filled days of the SNES.

Some RPGs are the New Pokemon RPG, Knight 'n' Knight, Advance Wars Under Fire and Digimon World 4. smile

It would be nice if Namco does produce onto the Cube.
PS2 has enough RPGs as it is.

the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean 3, Kingdom Hearts... They're just putting too many RPGs on the PS2 compared to GCN, especially since the majority of cube fans would actually enjoy having some good RPGs, because that's the only reason I am currently closer to my PS2 than GCN. I'll definitely be playing it non-stop once the new Fire Emblem and Zelda games come out, but that's about it as far as I can see... Nintendo just isn't trying like it used to. I looked in one of my magazines recently, and it says that there are hardly any games coming out for the GCN and GBA compared to the DS, PSP, PS2, and X-box (though nothing good quality on PSP and X-box). Even then, the DS isn't getting as many good games as I had hoped... Aside from SM64DS, the only good game coming out that I'm going to get is Sonic DS. Nintendo is just starting to slack with the increased number of haters, and the slacking could be a cause for all the recent hating Nintendo's been getting. I actually agree with people that the GCN is going downhill now since they're hardly coming out with anything good quality (kinda like how X-box has always been).

This could be a lot worse. At least if some people go and buy a PS2 for this game, they'll also have a large number of other good RPGs they can choose from. What I think is insane is that they're releasing Tales of Eternia, and I just feel hatred for this game now because for some reason they're deciding to release it for PSP!

I don't have any idea when, but I believe that sega is producing "Skies of Arcadia 2" I don't know ANY details. Skies of Arcadia Legends (basically Skies of Arcadia (SoA) for the GC instead of the DC) is the only true rpg that I have played for GC. (I only know of three, ToS, Baten Kaitos, and SoA) From people who have played all three, I am told that the order of superiority is SoA with ToS right after, then back a ways is Baten Kaitos. I think what dropped Kaitos rating was the fact that it was card based. Anyway, if you can find SoA I suggest getting it. It was, I have to say, the best purchase I've ever made. Better than Metroid Prime. Better than SC2. Better than SSBM. Better than Windwaker. Better than even Resident Evil 4. That game has changed the way I look at life. It teaches you to have fun. It teaches you to never give up. To never lose your dream. If you fail to accomplish that dream, replace it with another. Production was cut short, so it's a very rare game. If you can find it, get it. Oh, and my two favorite quotes from the game are "Where there is light...there is darkness." and "Impossible is just a word people use so they don't feel bad about themselves when they quit."

RPG's go to the system that has the memory to support it. In this generation, that would be the PS2. If RPG's do go on the Gamecube, more than likely the game will be on two discs.

That's kinda sad. The majority of games I play speak of things like that (especially the RPGs). I have SoA. I only had to pay $20 for it, so it obviously isn't too rare (this was from a store that had plenty). In my opinion, the fighting system could use a little work (its waaaay too slow). ToS is definitely a better RPG. If you think a story like that makes a game special, then you obviously haven't played nearly as many RPGs as I have, because almost all of them talk about such things. Even that first quote you said has been said in many of the games I have played.
