 Zoomba headed out leaving the baskets safe with their mother. Shadow had taken the news differently then he had thought. After all Zoomba was not the leader of the pack and he had welcomed strangers to their home. She seemed curious more then anything which pleased Zoomba. He was worried about the caring male that had taken in the abandoned basket. Perhaps it was the thought of having to raise a child by one's self. The task was for a whole family not one stallion.
It was about time for him to meet with Recovery under the same tree they had first met. So Zoomba leaned against the tree to wait for him. Would the day walker even show, he knew how hard it could be to switch to the night.

"Tyler I said go home." he shouted nipping at her shoulder
She dashed away just in time to avoid his teeth.
"Hey I'm just protecting my future interests." she said quite cheerfully.
At this recovery became something he rarely ever was-furious!
"you keep this one out of your interests you devil spawn." he shouted knocking her to the forest floor.
"oof."she said but didn't try to fight back. She knew He wouldn't actually hurt her he was honer bound not to by the word of his mother to her mother.laughter almost lighted her lips. However His hoof rested rather uncomfortably on her neck.
"mind you manners." she wheezed with a smug secure little grin. Gods how he hated her hated her family.
He bared his teeth and pushed down a little harder until panic showed in her eyes, waited a little Then released her slowly.
"get out of here." was all he said before turning back to his path.
Tyler scurried away as fast as her tricksters legs could carry her.
He would no doubt get an earful from mother later and end up giving an apology but she was over stepping the boundaries and Besides he had shaken her confidence so it was worth it.
On ward he trotted to the meeting place a half hour later to find zoomba waiting for him.
"sorry I'm late I was a tad delayed in my travels the human who looks after us made a small fix to the basket." he said and turned to the side to show that it now had a handle for him to use to lift it about with more ease on his own. Another addition was his mothers crow familiar rodrick.
"my mother also sends her thanks and requests that she be aloud to stop by every so often. This is her. Familiar rodrick. He will be flying back home frequently to update everyone. I can't wait to meet your family. I hope your mate didn't throw to many things at your head on my account."
He finished giving the basket a nuzzle as it started to fuss.

Zoomba was starting to think about how long he should wait for the Stallion before he saw him head around the corner. He smiled in greeting lifting himself from he lean on the tree. "It's no worries, though I was starting to think you had changed your mind. Human you say? I'm afraid my pack is shy of them, though its only because our appearance can be mistaken for a skinwalker though, when I say we I mean my mates side. You'll see." Zoomba said with a laugh and an assuring smile not wanting to scare Recovery. "That handle is a nifty trick though....wish I had thumbs sometimes."
"Of course we can send escort for her to if she fears traveling a lone at night. Though I suppose you can have Rodrick let her know where we sleep and she can arrive before dark too. And no actually I think she is quite interested in meeting you. I think all of us can respect a stallion that is willing to adopt a basket. Anyways lets get going so we can get you set up in the den and get Nori used to your scent. He can be a bit of a prickly pear at first, but you'll see he is a son of mine before long." Zoomba chuckled again before turning round to head towards the den.

"it is rather nice to have a set of hands about. Don't know what we would do without her sometimes. Two of her group owe her their lives."
Takeing stride instep behind zoomba he kept a steady gait he wa a tad onguard about skinwalkers and their likeness but decided not to make any judgement untill he saw them.
"oh an escort won't be nessicary my mother is our collectives guardian. I actually trained under her in the ways of defensive battle. To be truthful she argued with me about not handleing this between just us but as I told her we know next to nothing of night walkers. It's best not only for us but for the foal as well to have someone with experience help at they very lest understand what to expect. While we are on the subject think me a tad dense but what exactly do you mean by night walker? Like a kolona or something of that nature?" he inquired.
(( has never even herd of a vampire or anything of that nature. Isolean is a regular soquilli just vampierised. )))

"I never thought all humans to be bad just some. " Zoomba commented though he didn't seem to be on guard his ears seemed to swivel they way and that. Looking for any sound that was out of the ordinary. Eyes weren't something one could rely on at night.
"Ah my mate is strong and well learned in battle as well. ....And you are not dense at all my friend. Its not a common term. It can mean many things depending on who is saying it and why. I'm a night walker because I live in the night instead of the day where as I was once a day walker one who lived their life in the day. I have also heard it used as a term only for less unsavory creatures of the night such as Kolona and Skinwalkers. Though as a night walker I have seen other creatures like a vampiric bat Kolona and creatures of fire and bone. If your foal is one of those I hope it to be a kolona they are easier to hangle.

"Oh-. . .I see." he said his eyes dropping to the ground for a moment in thought.
Kolona . . .were easier to handle Then whatever this basket could be? What had he found that could possibly be worse than a demon steed. Should he have just left it?
He looked back at it with that thought and swallowed a hard lump is his throat. The basket wiggled and made what he assumed was it's happy noise a sighing Coo with a hint of hiss.
He cursed himself for a moment how could he possibly think of ever abandoning it. this was a baby a tiny being meant to be raised and loved regardless of its breed. Conditions made a good being not breeding. No matter what this basket grew into with love and patience that could be a genuinely good being. Even If it were a skinwalker of the worst sort he was certain he handle it with the help and support of those he called friend family or pack everything would work out in the end.
"my mother will indeed want to meet your mate then she sounds like a mare most admirable indeed."

Zoomba looked back at his new friend and smiled. "It will be ok,
I promise. In a pack we take care of things together, be it bad, good or in-between." Zoomba lead the way deeper it seemed into darkness and yet as they went it felt safer at least to Zoomba. They were just reaching the pack's land.
"That she is but I am bias she is my everything." Zoomba said with a smiled before flicking his ears. There was someone up ahead for sure.
Moonshine was out collecting plants and other such goodies for him, his father and the guest he had been told about. He wasn't sure what the new member would eat so he was collecting enough to go around. Moonshine lifted his head as he heard a noise. He turned to the scent that he knew was he father and followed his hooves to him eager to see the new comer. "Hello." Moonshine called out to the two.
"Ah its my son, Moonshine...Hello Moonshine, collecting the next meal I see." Zoomba looked proud of his son for keeping up with his duties in the pack.

Shadow was in the pack's den looking over the children sleeping, Nori was close by on patrol however her sensitive ears picked up the faint pacing of hooves and she knew immediately one of them was her mates, the ones following it were foreign. Curious, she got to her hooves and peaked her head out. "Nori, keep watch." She commanded, the brown wolf gave a nod of obedience and took her place as she made her way towards the sound of shuffling hooves.
Taking cover behind one of the large pine tree's she spied the new comer and studied as she considered her next move; Moonshine was there too, with a cyan glow coming from the stranger almost blinding behind her mate. He was very different looking, with his accessories and large horn, unique tail. Feeling like he wasn't much of a threat, a friend of Zoomba's by the looks of things she stepped from within her blanket of shadow and tilted her head at the three of them... Plus one.
"Well, well what do we have here? Guests?" She spoke softly offering them a smile. "Welcome home dear, how about you introduce us?" She suggested, making her way to her beloved mates side.
