Rose smiled and gently held Melody close to her breast so she could nurse as she sat down on the cold floor of the cage and kissed her head happy she was alright for now. She sighed and leaned against the bars of the cage and held her little one close to her and growled as the guards came near her

Melody was nursing from her mother and was perfectly happy being in her mother's arms. She then finishes. She was sick and didn't eat that much. Her belly was also smaller than it should be since she was a premature. She then started to fall asleep in her mommy's arms and listens to the sounds around her in the cold, dark, scary place she was in. The lights were dim but they were brightened whenever a master was in the shop.

Rose sighed and wrapped a blanket around Melody and kissed her forehead as she gently rocked her and stroked the small hair out of her eyes and sighed as she looked around the shop in a nervous manner. Rose leaned against the bars and soon fell asleep holding her little one close to her

Melody then grips her mommy's shirt and stays close scared of her surroundings. She was so young and small. She then started to have a coughing fit.

Rose sighed and gently rubbed her back helping her soothe coughing fit down and wrapped the blanket a bit tighter around her and kissed her head " Mommy's here little one.." Rose said softly and rocked her in a soft light way

Melody'a coughing fit then calms down and she goes back to sleep. She lays her head on her mommy's shoulder and stays close scared and unsure of the world around her.

Melody was sound asleep for a bit but was awake when someone looks into their cage and cooes at Rex and giggles as she reaches for him thinking he was her daddy.

Rex barely touched the pup's hand. He looked at the mother then he looked at the guards, "I want these two." His voice was soft but it held power. He watched as two guards ran into each other then he shook his head. He looked at the female and asked her, "What is your name?" This time it was soft and held little power.

Rose blinked and opened her eyes and looked at Rex and smiled slightly as she held Melody in her arms and kissed her forehead happy that someone had seen them " My name is Rose Valentine."she said and smiled slightly as she looked at Rex and stood up carefully

Rex didn't want on the guards, he grabbed the lock and broke it. He opened the cage. A girl was signing the papers. Rex held the mother out from the cage, "My name is Rex." His eyes changed but to fast for human eyes. He watched the girl leave and he lead Rose out of the shop.

Melody then looks up at Rex and cooes. She was so cute and looked so fragile. She then looks up at Rose and then back at Rex. She cooes at Rex wanting him to hold her.
