It was near just before dinner time, and Millicent was still outside her house, in the park across the street in fact--playing with her lightsaber, practicing for her next fencing lesson.
The child seemed completely focused on it, complete with an ipod and speakers, blaring out different songs that were played during the movies, during the really good fight scenes. Millie swung her blue saber and laughed as she nearly toppled over with the force of her thrust.
Yeah. Lightsabers were completely awesome. But it was always more fun when you had people to battle you.
It was getting late, though, and the girl wiped at her sweating brow. Mmm. Maybe mom would give her some lemonade with dinner tonight!
She skipped over to the iPod, intending to turn it off and pack up, though swung her saber still, laughing.

It was a little early to be powered, Zippeite was sure, but he just felt so awesome in full uniform, and he like lurking around the parks and arcade. Maybe because a little part of him was hoping he'd bump into one of his brother's older friends and show them the awesome power of the Negaverse. Yeeeah.
But it was a slow evening and he was mostly just killing time until the stragglers started roaming around in the dark.
But then he spotted something. Or more like he heard some music that drew his attention to a redheaded girl maybe four or five years younger than him swinging a lightsaber in the park. It was a toy similar to the one clipped to his belt, with the exception of being blue where his was Yoda green.
He jumped off the cinderblock wall he'd been lurking on and made a quick jog over to her, slowing to a casual walk as he got closer. While he had no real malicious intent, he did grab his weapon and give it a quick flick to extend the clear green plastic to it's full length and used the end of it to tap the younger lightsaber wielder on the shoulder to get her attention, and then made a dramatic battle ready pose waiting for her to turn around.

When the child did turn around, it was clear she was excited, her wide brown eyes lit up with delight and she extended her blade once more, then hesitated, looking at it's vivid blue color. "Ah! One second!"
She ran back to her bag, placing the blue lightsaber inside and drawing out another, this time extending it's blade. This saber was red.
Millie ran back over to the stranger and laughed, playing her favorite battle song before getting into her fighting stance--surprisingly formal for one so young. "Aha! Now Jedi scum! Prepare to meet my sith blade of awesomeness!"
She laughed, then lunged at the male, seeming so excited to finally have someone to spar with.

Zippeite couldn't help but laugh wistfully at her reaction. Enthusiasm ahoy. He was especially delighted when she actually produced a second lightsaber of a more appropriate color for their impending duel, and preparing himself by pulling the hood of his uniform up over his head.
"Ah, don't be so sure, dark one. The Jedi are still very strong," He said in his deepest most serious voice as he pulled his lightsaber up over his head in a dramatic pose, only breaking it to perry her attack. And yes, the irony was not lost on him, given that he was currently in nega uniform.
He had a strength and speed advantage, being powered up and older, but he wasn't trying to beat her, it was all in good fun, as evidence by his goofy attempt to swing at her arm complete with a purposeful miss and an over the top "Graaaawgh!"

Millicent grinned and shook her head, eyes narrowed. No way! “You foolish boy!” The child did her best to make her voice older sounding and crackly. “The Jedi will never be able to stamp out the awesome power of the Dark Side!” She contorted her face into an angry look, then jumped back at his swing, unable to stop a laugh from breaking free.
“You see! Good will never beat Evil!!! We’re just too powerful! You will fall to the Dark Side! I will make sure of it!”
The child moved and began swinging her plastic saber in time to the music, even going so far as to make her own sound effects each time her blade bounced off of Zippeite’s. “Bahahahahhaha! Give up, Jedi Scum! You cannot beat me!!”

The irony of her little play speech was definitely lost on Zippeite, but he was too busy shifting from laughter to a comically over-serious face to ponder the darkness of the Negaverse.
"Your anger will destroy you," He said in his best zen master voice before he failed to move fast enough and her blade came down on his wrist. Instantly, he dropped his lightsaber and sent it away to subspace, retracting his hand in his sleeve while making a weird noise that supposedly meant he was in pain.
"My hand! My hand Aaaaah!!"
