Hello, my fellow bibliophiles,
I've come to what is, for me, a sad announcement, but hopefully a good decision for the guild.
Those of you in the recently re-started book club may have noticed that I've been extremely absent from that (and the guild in general). I've had many all-consuming real life issues (some very good, some very bad) going on lately, that have kept me away from Gaia. Well all do, every now and then. But my latest, three-month absence forced me to finally admit something I'd been denying for a while now: I don't have the time to be a proper guild captain anymore.

I love this guild. It means more to me than I ever thought an online meeting place ever could, and the last thing I want to do is give it up let it rot.
So, I'm finally saying it. I know I need to step down, and I intend to do so.
I'm discussing this with our vice captain currently, and will notify you all again when the change is made.
I'll certainly stick around, but I want to say now how very grateful I am to everyone for making this guild so cool. I've never been in another semi-active guild that needed virtually no moderation. You, readers, are the best. The book discussion that has gone on here is exactly what this guild was founded for.
