Blood, dark in color and dripping off an old mafia mans desk, just a blue feather as the trace of evidence, no reason why, just that Memphis and Asmode's boss was murdered in his own office, face down with a petrified look on his face, laying there in a pool of his own dirty blood.
It's been weeks since Memphis took on any of his boss' assassination plans, all he got was a call and a few screams over the phone from the boss about 'he's going to kill me' this baffled him, but he didn't hesitate to contact Asmode to meet him at their boss' office to find what was going on, only to find that sight.

Asmode rolled over in his bed, that had some blond male asleep next to him. Pushing the male from his bed as he answered his phone he frowned at having to go see the boss. He didn't want to. But Memphis was right, they needed to go check in if they wanted to get some more money. "Yeah yeah be there in 5" He said as he dressed and pushed the cute blond from his home. "Get going will ya i have work to do." he said as he flew off after lcoking up and heading to the boss. Getting there and walking in to see Memphis and the boss...blood all over and dead across his desk Asmodeus frowned and looked at his brother. "Whats going on here and how come the boss is dead?" he asked not wanting to out right assume Memphis had killed him.

Memphis was looking around for clues as he stood back up seeing Asmode. "I got a call from our boss." He tossed his cell phone over to Asmode so he could hear the recorded call. "Looks like we'll need to find a new employer if we want to keep living the way we do." He knelt back down to pic up the blue feather, examining it some. "That's unless you want to find the culprit first."

Asmode caught the phone and looked at it and listened to the voice mail. He frowned. What was wrong here? "I know the boss man was dealin' with a lot of unsavery people but who would actually bother killing him?" he asked as he moved closer and sniffed at the feather. "Mmm smells funny. Don't recognize it though." he said as he looked over their dead boss. "I say we look for him. Whos to say he aint coming after us next? I don't want this coming after me. I'd rather go after it first." he said with a smile.

"True,..." He pondered as he got back to his feet and handed the feather over to Asmode and took his cell phone back. "We just need to leave the place as is though. We were never here or else we'd be placed as the culprits of this crime scene, and I rather not have my tail in jail, if you get my drift." Placing his cell back into his pocket, he pulled his lil brother out before he could answer so their scent wouldn't linger to much. "If you go after him, you need to be careful. This person seems like he or she didn't hesitate to kill our boss and I don't want you slipping up and getting killed either. So be careful. I'll keep an eye out as well, but if you find the person that did this, let me know right away and your location so I can give you backup."

Asmode followed willingly and pulled his phone out and turned it on. "Call you if i see anything or smell anything. Got it. I'll sniff out a trail down here if there is one since i have a better nose. You search the sky see if you find anything. Sound ok?" he asked as he set his phone to have Memphis's number be speed dial number one. "I'll keep my eyes open and i'll make sure not to get hurt or killed. Didn't think you cared that much if i did though." he said with a grin as he sniffed about trying to get the scent of what he had picked up off the feather.

Memphis' ear twitched at the caring comment, as he spread out his wings. "There's nothing wrong with caring for family." With that he flew up to search the sky's and get an aerial view if he spotted anything of suspicion.Zeek was in the nearest run down apartment building, making his way upstairs to his room. He was rather clean when it cam to finishing his job, he left no fingerprints and what he though no evidence as he pulled his key out of his pocket and started to get the door unlocked.

Asmode looked up at his brother and smiled as he walked along sniffing out the smell. The scent. He didn't know what this smell was and or who it belonged to. He crouched once when he thought he was losing it and flicked his tail about and folded his wings close against his back. He leaped on all fours over the grass and looked up at the top of the hill and saw a few buildings. Had he gone into one? He smiled and texted Memphis where he was heading and that he was going to scope out a few of the buildings over on this side.

Memphis was still searching above. As he got the test he responded back, letting Asmode know not to get cornered or trapped into any small spaces. Of course he worried, but that was only because his history before.
Entering his room, it was like any other apartment rooms, a kitchen, couch with a separate small room where there was a bed then bathroom. Just enough room for himself and maybe another, if he let any guests in. He was on the top floor, being the 3rd floor where a balcony came from the living room. A few small things like photo's of his old family, posters of rather dark and depressing things, he kept his room a dark color of paint and the lights stayed off mostly, but it was clean and it was home. Walking to his small kitchen, he started his coffee pot to make himself a couple cups of coffee to end his day. He never noticed as a smaller feather fell off from his one beautiful blue feathered wings, that not look like a mess of feathers and bones.

Asmode rolled his eyes and smiled happily as he walked along and sniffed out the scent of this male. His eyes looked over buildings as he found a building that had the smell coming out strongly from all over. He pulled his phone out to tell Memphis where he was but his phone fell and the battery popped out and the screen cracked. He frowned as he cursed it and put the bits in his pocket. He walked to a window and peeking in to make sure no one was there and to smell that the male he needed wasn't there he leaped up to the next window and sniffed it. Nope. he leaped to the third floor and sniffed at that one and smiled. This one. Keeping to the ledge of the building he looked around trying to see Memphis as he peeked into the windows trying to get a look of the male who had killed their boss.

Memphis was nowhere near th place as he was at the edge of town, standing on the roof of an office building, keeping an eye out as he rested his wings and checked his phone for any messages.
Zeek automatically smelled a feint familiar smell that he noticed was in the building where he murdered the main boss that he hated with every ounce of his being. He was quick to stay in the shadows and blend in with his surroundings. He left the balcony window open on purpose, for he loved keeping his room nice and cool. Inching his way quietly and closer to the balcony glass door, he swiftly reached out and grabbed at Asmode, hoping to get a good grasp of the intruder, so he could throw him down and pin him on the floor.

Asmode frowned as he looked around at everything around them hoping to see his brother but saw nothing. s**t. He didn't want to go in and try to get more info on this male till he knew his brother knew where he was. He tried to think of what to do but he was suddenly grabbed and pulled into the house and pushed to the ground. As he was moving he was able to pull his sword and put it between the two of them and growled as he looked up at the male. His ears were flat and he was growling. He said nothing as he growled and watched him to see what he was doing next. Damn it all and breaking his phone...

"Coming to take revenge, for a man who has more blood on his hands than I?" Zeek's tone was serious, he didn't have any weapon in hand, but his wings spread out, showing how serious he was. He wasn't surprised to see a male, that was a touch bigger than him, he had taken down bigger, but the growl that came from the boy made him smirk, almost into a laughter. Licking Asmode's sword he moved in closer so the blade was touching his neck. "Even in the position you are now, you would only be able to do enough force to nick me, how i have you."

Asmode watched him and when he licked his sword he growled louder. "The hell you licking my baby for!" he said with a growl as he snarled. "I'm coming at you cause i want to know why. And i want to know who killed him and that you were not going to come after me and my brother. Are you coming after anyone else i know?" he asked with a growl. He couldn't help noticing that the male was...attractive. He shook his head though and tried to ignore it as he pressed the sword up. "I don't care if i nick you or cut your ******** head off my baby just needs blood for you licking her." he said with a growl.

Zeek arched a brow then sat up on top of Asmode's stomach and shook his head. "I don't go after the puppets, it's not their fault they have a master that makes them do wicked deeds. Folding his wings back, another feather fell from them. "if it upsets you so much, take as much blood as needed, I won't stop you." He pushed himself up to his feet as he walked over to the wall and turned the lights on. With hie thin his wings were you could see almost all of his scars across his arm, chest and face, except the ones hidden under his clothes. It almost looked like he was bleeding tears, but they were actually birth marks he had since he was a child. "That man deserved his death, as so do more out there. I'm just ridding this place of those kinds to protect those who are innocent."
