The Eximo Espada (十刃, (エスパーダ), Esupāda; Spanish for "removed sword", Japanese for "removed ten blades") were a group of Arrancars that served Término Muerte, a powerful hollow whom was sealed within the deepest part of the Forest of Menos by the Gotei 13 captains over 1000 years before Bleach: Brink of War takes place.
Los Cinco Dios (Lit. The 5 Gods) are the 5 Arrancar Leaders of the Eximo Espada. They are fiercely loyal to Término Muerte and serve him as their god. They release Término from his imprisionment and follow him in the War against the Shinigami. These arrancar serve as the Término Muerte's elite soldiers. Each of them possess a terrifying ability known as the 'Segunda Etapa', literally meaning 'second form' beyond resurrecion.

He was sealed away over 1000 years ago by the Gotei 13 due to his the threat he posed against it's foundaiton. He is soon revived by Los Cinco Dios, the leaders of the Eximo Espada. The one of the main principal antagonists of Bleach: Brink of War, he currently resides in Hueco Mundo, commanding an army of Arrancar known as the Eximo Espada, his ultimate goal being to overthrow Soul Society along with the Soul King and take his place as god of the world. The Arrancar, and by extension Término as well, is currently at war with the Shinigami.
