Just over a week had passed since Mac last saw Mitsu. That lovely, charming, fateful day where the ghoul had, for really no reason at all, indebted herself to him. It opened up a world of possibilities, both insignificant and downright nasty and Mac being Mac, opted to take his time to think about it. Thus, after an extended period of time that was quite unusual considering Mac often cashed in favours pretty quickly, he made his way to the Monster Dorms once more, this time knowing exactly what he wanted from her. There was an unmistakeable bounce to his step, and a grin on his lips that suggested he really was up to no good, but then again...when did these things not occur where he was involved?
It seemed like a pretty short jaunt to Mitsu's dorm room. The Reaper had just assumed that the ghoul would be home, when he knocked on her door. "Mitsu? It's Mac."

As luck would have it Mac caught Mitsu just in time. The lycan had gathered her things ready to head over to Shun's dorm to study. Her backpack was slung over her shoulder and a couple of notebooks were in her arms. As usual her mask was in place as she reached for the door.
Mac barely got the first knock in when Mitsu opened the door to leave. Not expecting anyone to be there the lycan let out a yelp the notebooks in her arms flying up into the air before cascading down to gather around her feet. Heart racing she stood in an on guard position for a moment until she finally realized. "M..Mac?"

"Hi, Mitsu." Mac just smiled at her surprise, taking a step forward to make her back into her room. He was nice enough to nudge the occasional book with his foot to make sure nothing was left outside. He eyed the ghoul from the tips of her furry ears to her toes, and right back to the open door. She was packed to leave, she didn't hear him...
"Going somewhere?" He said conversationally, that little smile still playing on his lips.

Her path was effectively blocked and Mac was doing a fine job of herding the lycan back into her room. She wanted to lean down to pick up her papers but the reaper had nudged them into the door so they wouldn't be left in the hall.
A soft whimper threatened to escape as Mitsu looked up to Mac, giving a light nod. "I..I was doing to go study with Shun." It was what they normally did.
Mitsu didn't know what to make of the reaper's smile nor the way he looked at her. It was a little unnerving in a way. "I..is there something you needed?" She asked trying to help her tone open and helpful.

"I thought so." Oh, Shun. The other Reaper's name brought a bad taste to his mouth, but he did his best to ignore it. He wasn't sure what Shun would think of what he was about to do, but part of him hoped that he hated it. Though...really, there was no other logical reaction from the boil who claimed this particular ghoul.
"Ah, sort of. See, I thought of a way you can repay me, and it's kind of something I'd like to get now rather than later." He explained, sounding a smidgen apologetic, as though he felt terrible about making Shun wait. Spoiler: He wasn't. "Mind holding off on seeing Shun for a little? It won't take too long." Despite his best efforts to, you know, not sound ominous...well, he was pretty sure he failed. Still, the attempt was there.

"O..oh." Mitsu's brows quirked behind her mask, but Mac sounded apologetic about holding her up. "O..okay. I think it will be fine." Shun wouldn't mind if she was late. Depending on how late she could just give me a quick call, it just depended on what Mac needed but he said it would be quick.
Shuffling her bag off her shoulders for now Mitsu set it on the floor out of tripping range. "So what can I do for you?"

When Mitsu agreed to stay behind a little longer, Mac's smile grew for a moment, and he stepped back to close the still open door behind him. He was still very careful to keep himself between the lycan and the safest exit, and careful still to be within range to catch her should she try to flee elsewhere. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that and deep down he imagined it wouldn't...the ghoul tended to stay frozen in place, or so he realized.
The Reaper cleared his throat, checking the room for any crazy minipets before focusing on poor, timid Mitsu. "I want that." He said simply, pointing to the mask on her face.

At first Mitsu had no idea what Mac meant. He was pointing right in her direction. Slowly she turned her head....there was nothing behind her. What could he..? The wheels started turning and as Mac guessed Mitsu froze. "Y...you want t-t-this?" Mitsu stuttered a handing coming to her mask.
This was not the type of favor she had foreseen. The lycan kind of imagined when you said you would DO something for someone there would be more of an activity of some sort and it wouldn't involving GIVING them something. True there was no real clarification on this favor, not real stipulations, but what did Mac want with the mask and what would he do if he didn't get it?
Finally gathering a little bit of her senses Mitsu took a shaky step back further into her own room. "W...why do you want my mask?"

"Yup. I want your mask." Mac confirmed, saying it out loud so he was more than clear on what he wanted. Sure there were actual activities he could have asked her for - some he was pretty sure he would actually enjoy too much once Shun was factored in - but this was what he wanted from her. A small part of him was smug when she froze; he knew she would, and it was just...perfect. Beautiful, even.
"Because it's hindering you." He said, surprisingly softly. The smile he offered the ghoul was small, and it was an honest one. "You don't need it, I know you don't." Which was a lie, since he didn't really know her, but whatever, that wasn't the point. Shun had made a big deal about the mask, and after some thought he figured out what it was he had to do; he extended his hand. "So...your mask, please."

As the panic started to sink in Mitsu was in fight or flight mode, and because of the lycan's general demeanor it was mostly flight mode. There was a quick glance to the door as her mind started to calculate the odds of her getting around Mac and not getting caught. She was fast but she had no idea how quick the reaper was. The door held a fifty fifty chance in her mind, it could easily teeter depending on Mac's abilities. Not to mention if she ran and he caught her what would happened?
Option two, Mitsu glanced back at the window on the other side of the room. It was unlocked but it was closed. There was a fair distance to the ground but the odds of being hurt were slim. Time from her spot to the window would be seconds, pushing it open would take no time, but would it be enough? This route held a much high probability of success, some where around a seventy five percent success as compared to trying to maneuver around Mac.
Third option, Mitsu glanced toward the bathroom door. It wasn't a route out but she could always lock herself in. As with most things in the monster dorms the door was very solid, hopefully solid enough to keep a reaper at bay.
"I..I wouldn't say it's hindering me." But it was. That was the painful truth of the matter. "It's a keepsake from my parents." Her hand stayed in position over her mask as if she were trying to keep Mac from snatching it off her face. "W-what use could it be to you?" It was a curious question. One to buy her time until she decided what to do. It was hard to think when every fiber of her being said RUN. Her gaze turned to Mac's outstretched hand, the gesture making her take another step back.

Mac stayed still, but he was watching her closely. He saw the way her head tilted, and though the mask was in the way of her expressions she was fairly sure he understood what was going on. The ghoul might always freeze, but that usually happened right before you looked for a way out. He knew this tactic, he used it often...and he was hellbent on winning this.
"It's useless to me." Mac was point-blank, his hand still extended. He was careful to not shift his position if he could help it, as it would be a shame to accidentally trigger her flight response. "There isn't a single thing in it for me...you see, this is very unusual." No matter what he did, there was always that 'what's in it for me?' question in the back of his mind. "I promise to keep it safe, and to return it to you once you realize you don't need it." This little venture of his...really could do nothing for him. At best he would help the ghoul in his own terrible way, and at worst there would be a Shinigami breaking all the bones in his body. Twice.
Black eyes seemed to get darker, and never broke from her form. "And I'll warn you now; if you leave, if you go anywhere or to anyone until we're done here, I'll ask for something way worse than a little mask." The threat in his voice was thinly veiled at best.

Useless to him, well that's what Mitsu kind of guessed but it really wasn't what she had expected him to say.
It's approximately three point five meters to the window, to arrive there and open the window will only take three to four seconds. Distance to the ground is estimated at four meters, possible injuries would be minor at worst. Longer leg stride of the reaper could pose a problem, closing distance could be much shorter time than it takes to make it out the window.
As the mathematics went on in the background of Mitsu's mind she tried to focus on the conversation at hand. "I..I don't understand why you would use your favor for this if there is no benefit to you." Maybe if he thought about it he would choose something else?
Distance to the door is less than two meters with a slight detour to avoid the reaper. The door is open allowing a clear path once the obstacle of Mac is avoided. Again speed is an issue, this is likely the riskiest of moves.
Mitsu had nearly decided on a course of action when Mac ushered his sugar coated threat. Instantly that calculating voice in the back of her mind went silent. Mitsu wasn't sure she wanted to know what other things Mac could come up with but curiosity had her wondering. "Like what?" There were other options she might opt for if given the choice.

"Well who knows. Your boilfriend's big issue with our little episode was that mask of yours. So I guess there is something in it for me, in a roundabout way." He shrugged nonchalantly, slowly lifting a hand to scratch at his nose. "But there's nothing obvious in it for me." It was confirmed with a nod, and he lowered his arms to his sides, ready to move or reach out if he had to. If he had known about her calculations he might have been a little more worried or on edge, but from where he stood he figured he had this.
"Do you really want to know?" He challenged, that devious smirk of his returning. "Well, if you insist." There was a pointed silence for a moment, as he once more looked her over from head to toe. "You are cute, you know that? I could easily demand sex." For all intents and purposes, Lizzy's place in his life was tossed aside; this was all theoretical, of course. "Or I could forbid you from seeing or talking to Shun." With this he was grasping for straws and even then it was mostly to say a big ******** YOU to Shun, for everything he'd done. With a thoughtful hum, he shrugged, swinging his arms out. "Jack, or both -- Aah, there's an idea." That grin of his twisted, his head lowering to peer at her from under the brim of his hat.
"So, it's either your mask or your body, and if it's your body you're also never to contact Shun again."

That devious smirk did not bode well in Mitsu's mind, nor did the way Mac looked her over. "C...cute? I don't....S-s-sex?" W...would he really ask that of her? Mitsu had never done anything like that before. Mold. OH JACK, MOLD!
Sadly though, a small part of her was considering that option. It..couldn't be too bad right and she would get to keep her mask. Naivety of the situation kept her from completely fearing it. Maybe Ms. Cricket should have gone into more details outside of mold. When Shun had showed her the web page she only finally grasped what sex entailed. She...she could do it right? Just....get it over and done with and never have to think of it again.
Mitsu's only saving grace from this bad decision on the rise was that Mac mentioned Shun and added him into the equation. It sent a cold chill down the lycan's spine one that she could not over look. The thought of not getting to see Shun again, it made her heart clench up and a knot begin to form in her throat. Tears actually started to gather in her eyes realizing what she had been considering before.
The silence dragged on and finally Mitsu tentatively reached up with both hands to grab her mask. At first she pulled it away slowly, having a hard time with it not knowing Mac all that well. Her large crimson eyes were trained to the floor before she finally pulled the mask away and almost thrust it out with one hand for Mac to take before she changed her mind and decided to bolt. With her free hand she wiped at her face trying to rid it of the tears. "H-h-here."

The idea of cheating on Lizzy made his stomach knot; he had really only suggested it as a worst case scenario. He was putting all of his cards on the table with this bet, and could only hope for the best. The silence marched on and Mac was actually scared that she was going to do with option two...which meant his brain went in to overdrive, trying to think of something worse than not talking to Shun after having sex with him.
He was coming up with nothing.
"Ah!" The sudden thrust of the mask startled him, his arms flying up to grab onto it with both hands. He lifted it swiftly from her, relief flooding through him at her choice. As his stomach unknotted he tucked the mask inside his jacket, and reached out hesitantly to pat her head.
"There there, it's okay, don't cry. I promise to take good care of it." His hand moved, pressing gently under her chin to lift her head. "You don't need it, I'm sure you're a wonderful girl."
