Sara was worried, on edge and suffering from anxiety problems. Usually she would never dream of entering Noble territory, it was basically a death sentence, especially to such a novice fighter. If she was caught they would have her head, or worse, could they do anything worse? She did not know, but she sure as hell did not want to find out!
She was frightened and moving quite quickly, she wore a black cape, the hood covered her head and the material reached her feet, only a few strands of teal hair peeked from the hood and was her only feature on show. She was hoping to get by undetected, though the fact she was trying to hard to be a shadow just made people suspicious, she had gotten a few odd lucks but now, luckily, hardly anyone was on the streets. She was not here by choice, she had not planned this and right now wanted to be anywhere but here, on her own... in the dark.
But she needed to find him, she needed to tell him what was happening.
The conduit tried to control her breathing, holding her highly decorated prayer rod in one hand. She wanted to keep it close, just in-case. She might have come here with pure intentions but she knew that nobody was likely to believe that. If she was caught she could not even tell them why she was here, she could not let them know that she knew Bataar that she was close to him. There was only one solution to this - she just could not get caught. No matter what.
It was a full moon tonight, the soft glow gave everything a silver taint. She would usually thank the spirits for such a wonderful night, however it was darkness that she wanted, the cover of shadows to shroud her identity. She looked around, lost in the estates, she had never been here before and had no idea where he would even be. For such a large man he was hard to find, like a needle in a haystack.
She kept vigilant, a hour in and realizing that this was a bad idea she turned to head back but froze when she heard a noise. She held her rod up, close to her body, she was not a violent person but she swore if anyone tried to stop her she would make her way through them.
It was too dangerous to ask questions and make excuses.

Xiu yawned widely as he meandered down one of the estate lanes. He leaned a bit heavily against Bai Hu's shoulder, nearly asleep on his feet. He hadn't planned on visiting his friend for so long. One thing let to another though and there were tea and cakes, something Xiu was hard-pressed to give up easily. Not only that, the company was wonderful and he couldn't believe he'd spent nearly the entire day chatting with Huang. It was a bit silly, actually, but Xiu didn't regret it one little bit.
The darkened lane might have scared him a few years before, but not anymore. With a giant bengal tiger by your side, it was hard to be afraid of anything. As if reading his thoughts, Bai chuffed and licked Xiu's hand gently.
"I know, almost home, Bai," Xiu soothing, giving the tiger's ears a scratch until he heard a nice purr going. "I know that big hog was slaughtered for dinner tomorrow so you'll have a nice piece of rump, sound good?" At another chuff, Xiu couldn't help but laugh again. Turning a tight corner, Xiu nearly collided with someone in a dark cloak.
"Oh, I'm sorry," he apologized, his giggles choking off as he gazed at the cloaked figure in sudden nervousness. He fully intended to walk around the person, but that wicked looking staff stopped him as well as Bai's low, thundering growl. Knowing Bai was picking up on his nervousness, Xiu gulped and tried to calm himself.
"If you'll excuse us," he added, trying to sound firm, despite the fact that his voice was a little choked. Who was this person and why were they sulking around in the shadow of the estates? Was it a thief?? Tensing slightly, Xiu discreetly reached into his sleeve for one of his charms. He didn’t know who this person was, but he knew he didn’t want trouble.

Sara meeped slightly as she felt the presence of another spirit in the area. When the man almost collided with her she backed away, her pale eyes looking down to...
HOLLY HELL WAS THAT A TIGER!
She was shocked, she would have never thought she would come in contact with a large cat today, she had never seen one before in her entire life for that matter! She wished that Ghost was here. The wolf would have jumped to her aid despite the obvious advantage the cat had with its weight and size, however he was not and Sara was made to stand on her own, the growl the best let out sending a cold shiver down her spine. She did not want to become a tigers meal! Being eaten alive was much worse than beheading in her opinion, far worse.
When the Noble apologized she gave a nervous chuckle, shaking her hands in front of her as if to tell him not to worry, the staff clumsily flapping about between her delicate fingers. "N-no, it is fine. Really, there is no need to worry." She stuttered out sheepishly, with any luck he would just let her go by and then she could continue on with her escape plan. He seemed nice enough and she had given him no reason to suspect her, however she was sure the beast could sense she was a intruder, animals picked up on those things a lot quicker than people did!
For a moment she actually believed he would let her go.
However when he reached for his sleeve she panicked. She raised her staff and swung it, blue lines of glowing blue ribbon appearing to flutter from the orb in its center, before long the streams came together to make the shape of a wolf pup. Sara had become gifted with the ability to summon spirit familiars for a short amount of time. Manipulating pure soul energy from the area around her, she molded it into any shape she wanted. Though the wolf was always easier for her, maybe it was because the animal was so close to her heart. It seemed to be a constant symbol to say the least.
No way was she letting him get the first attack in. The wolf ran towards the stranger, leaping at him with its teeth bared. It was not physical, if he dodged it would hit the wall and fade back into nothing. It it hit it would fun through him sending a cold shock through his muscles before disappearing. It might just give her enough time to run away.
