 Mystique regarded the map of the academy grounds she held. According to the map she was not where she was supposed to be. She was supposed to be outside the building that held the main classrooms. She lowered the map and stared at the empty field she was standing before. Unless the buildings here could move she was definitely in the wrong place.
Turning around she began to trace her steps back to the dorms. Reaching the dorm building she held the map up again trying to figure out where she went wrong. She frowned at the map, as far as she could tell she followed the map exactly.
Balling the map up she tossed it into the closest garbage can. Apparently it was defective and she would be better off wandering around the campus blindly then trusting it.

 Kalypso couldnt believe that she woke up late and already missed her first class of the school year. Sighing she took a quick shower and threw on her uniform. Picking up her books and bag she ran out of her dorm as fast as she could.
"Umf" She had nearly collided into another student. "Sorry miss I didn't mean it." She got up and helped the other student up and started to dust her off. "I should have looked where I was going, I'm such a fool. Are you alright?"
My first day at school isn't really going so good. And now I have probably hurt this girl when I ran into her. Kalypso looked at the girl. Oh how cute. "Can I touch your tails?...wait ignore that I can't believe I just said that. "

Mystique stared at the student that had just knocked her over. Laughing at the tide of words she waved the girl off. “I’m fine and it’s partly my fault. I shouldn’t have been standing in the middle of the walkway.”
Her three tails moved in tandem as she waved them to get any lingering dirt off. Noticing the books the girl was carrying she raised an eyebrow. “Looks like I’m not the only one late for class. Do you know the way to the classrooms? My map was completely useless. ”
Shifting the messenger bag that housed her books to a more comfortable position she waited for an answer. If she knew the way maybe she’d be willing to show her.

Kalypso looked the girl over once more. "Sure I can show you to the classrooms. Oh I don't trust maps myself. I tend to get lost pretty quickly when I'm using them." Kalypso hugged her books to her. "Oh where are my manners? My names Kalypso nice to meet you."
Kalypso had never meet a Mononoke before she heard about them but had never meet one face to face before. The girl next to her seem nice enough.
So what are your goals for this school? What do you hope to gain? Sorry If I ask too much questions but I'm usually not this talkative. I just get a good vibe coming from you."
Kalypso looked around the buildings. They were so much more nicer in the sunlight then at night when she went exploring. She hoped she didn't get in trouble for being late and that the teacher didn't make a example of her. The least she needed was to be embarssed on her first day in class.

Mystique smiled softly she was beginning to like this girl. "I'm Mystique, nice to meet you as well." Her ears twitched as she listened for anyone else around. All she could hear was the small amount of wildlife that made this part of the academy grounds home. 'We must be really late,' she thought to herself starting to worry, she didn't want to get a reputation for being tardy.
"Lets see, my goal for my time here would have to be mastering my Illusions. That's my specialty," she held up the hand with her bell bracelet around its wrist, "I use these bells as the focus. Do you know what kind of magic you plan to specialize in?"
