x KIRIGAKURE TRAINING CAVESxx↘↘ xxxxx
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

In the direction of the Temple lies a beaten path that veers off toward the right. This pathway is always covered in the heavy mist that clings to the ground. Walking this path you pass the outskirts of the forest that harbors the deadly animals and Temple at the back of Kirigakure. Eventually you reach a sort of enclose; dead end. Except for the opening where the path ends, this area is blocked off in a crescent shape, cliffs skyrocketing upward. Oddly enough, the mist that collects at the top of the cliffs falls over the lip and in it's collective and heavy congregation if falls to the ground, feeding the clingy mist that covers the area. For all appearances sake it looks literally like you were standing before a waterfall of mist.

For those who don't mind being misted to nearly sopping wet, you can continue walking toward the cliffs base. Obscured by view until you practically stand before it is a five foot opening into the cliff face itself. A breeze fed through some undiscovered exit point on the other side keeps the catacomb like caves free from the cascading mist. These caves were used by Nin who did not want their plots to be discovered or they were used by refugees fleeing Kirigakure law.

Walking further into the caves it branches off into many different directions, each leading into empty pockets. Some are larger than others and some offer entrance to other pockets in turn. Needless to say, without being native to Kirigakure, you could get lost very easily. In order to make things easier for Genin who travel this way to train, a path is marked by little Kirigakure symbols. They lead to main chambers where people can train in absolute privacy.

Sebastian Crane

You may think your special...

Sebastian used his predetory instincts to follow the Mizukage. He entered the area, mildly bitchin about the mist, but it was where he had lived forever. He prefered the sterile perfect conditions of a lab, and a testing facility. But field testing was another thing....and usually involved fear....

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMI YOUNG ROOxxxxxxxmizukage

Mi stood before the cliffs, looking up as the heavy spray of sticky mist cascaded over the lip and pummeled the entire area. If she hadn't known which way to go it would have been impossible to find the opening at the base of said cliffs but she did know. One problem less to deal with. "Stay close to me..." She warned, ghosting through the dense mist. After walking forward in a carefully picked out straight line she felt the cool air, different to the mist, blow at her. Turning her face in it's direction she followed it until she found that small entrance. "Over here." She said, in case she had any stragglers. Entering the cave her vision was instantly restored, the mist no existent inside this area. Her hair was matted to her face now and her clothes had a good layer of liquid on them now. Running a hand through her hair she shook out the worst of the water and tried restoring volume to her cropped locks.

She didn't wait for the group to circle in around her, she followed the small blue-grey symbols embedded into the rocks at each turn. They were the marker that would lead her to the area that was designated. After passing a few tunnels and empty pockets she found the one she had been looking for. Inside the pocket was huge. Stalagmites hung from the ceiling, looking as if the slightest pressure or shake would dislodge them. All around them were scattered pillars of rocks that shot upward. In all, this entire area looked like some grand training map. There were places to hide with it's highs and low points and there was plenty of room to run around. This was where she was going to have them working together.
"Depending on what type of Medic you become the area around you will be different. Some of you will go into the field, others will do something else. If you fight in the field working in pristine conditions is never going to happen. You are under the threat of assault while you are tending to your patient, in other words you are at your most vulnerable. I'll show you some of the basics and a few more of the advanced styles. After that you are going to complete a live exercise. Each of you will receive some type of injury. You are not allowed to treat yourself and must be treated by another teammate. You will be scattered in the room as well so you will have to find each other. I am going to go after you. In your weakened states it will prove critical to meet me in this area. So. Try to find and tend to each other before I find you. Any questions? " She asked, her gaze still on the large area.

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~

Chakra Pool: 280 ~ AC: 1800 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200

It was nice that Flou would allow him to study his body should anything happen to him. Of course Setsuna did not want the other to die and he did not want to slice into the male being a mere genin. It was merely something that would have to be forgotten for now. He carefully followed the Mizukage down and into the entrance on the side of the cliff. An interesting place for training indeed. Now he just had to wonder what sort of training exercise the Mizukage would put them through. There were plenty of rocks around and places to go.

Standing around the Mizukage, he waited patiently for the woman to speak up. This cave was a bit strange to him, with the symbols in the rocks and such. He trusted the Mizukage knew enough about the place though. Soon she began to speak, about the difficulties of working in the field. Of course Setsuna knew that there were plenty of difficulties working in the field, especially with the less than clean conditions. It was good that the Mizukage would show them some techniques and such. Yet to make it interesting, they would each be injured and placed around the room. They had to find and treat each other while the Mizukage came for them as they tried to get back to this area. When asked if they had any questions, Setsuna raised a hand "If you do find us... I don't suppose we'll be given a chance to defend ourselves will we?" Sure she was the kage but it was better to struggle and try to fight than to just give up.

--Don't Say a Word....--

Flou walked along until they reached a mystifying area. He looked up at the lip of the cliff that seemed to purge the mist into a thick wall. Flou was amazed a place like this even was around in the village, although it was Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist, there was mostly only rain. As Mi told them to stay close, she began to walk into the mist and Flou followed close behind. As they walked into the mist, Flou felt a sensation. As if his body was absorbing the water into himself.

When they got through he aw small symbols on the walls, he still kept close to the Kizukage as they got into the area that she wanted to train in. He looked around, amazed by the looks of the place. The Stalagmites reaching to the ground as the pillars reached to the roof, it was almost symbolic towards Flou... But he didn't know why. As the Mizukage spoke, Flou snapped out of his trance listening carefully. So that was the training schedule. Learn the basics and some advanced then take a training exercise for a spin. It sounded good for Flou, he smiled at her. When she asked if their were any questions, Flou nodded "I have learnt some Medical Jutsu, if we are learning a skill one of us knows already may we sit out and learn a different skill of another genre? I kind of wish to learn new ink mixtures." He said with a light smile. "I will be quiet, I'll try not to spit it out or anything..."

Looking over her shoulder, she stared directly at Setsuna. With a small movement of her body, she positioned herself so that she was facing them. She smirked a little bit, giving herself a smug air in the process. Compared to her usual efficient expressions this was a total contrast. It wasn't as if these kids knew her so she wasn't to preoccupied with keeping airs around them. "I would expect no less but. I will not allow you to continue the fight if you are at your limit. In order to become the best you must practice at your best." It was her philosophy and it hadn't let her down so far. Clasping her hands behind her back she looked to Flou as he brought up his question. Mulling it over, she coaxed her head slightly to one side. She did want them to complete this exercise 'together' in order to build that team feeling but they were already on their own teams. "You may but please keep in mind that they will depend on you as you will depend on them during the training area." Looking to Sebastian she tilted her head to the left this time. She has expected him to bombard her with questions and cryptic messages. So far he had not said a word. "Sebastian san, do you not have anything to ask?"

Sebastian could only offer a creepy smile, as the whole concept of "live training and tsting" seemed interesting to him. It was a test of him as well, to see how he would react to saving his "team mates." This was neccessary, as it would offer him a idea of their strengths and skills. This was all an ends to a mean.

"Well, wil we learn poison creation or techniques? It seems like if we could better defend ourselves if we are healing in the field if we could make the enemy drop, not breath, or even go delious from....fear....I dont know its just a thought...."

Sebastian has said very odd things to Mi and she had started to get used to his cryptic comments but a las, she was once again left in a slight stupor. It wasn't that she didn't understand what it was he was saying to her it was more along the lines of a misplaced time for such a 'thought'. She was right. This kid was not trying to become a medic for the greater good of others. He was doing it to hurt others. Her face blanketed of emotion as she responded to Sebastian, preferring to fall on her detached self when dealing with him. "You have enough things to worry about on the field rather than dropping your enemy. You first priority is to those who need your abilities. If you divide your efforts between healing and trying to take down an enemy you could risk the chance of losing your patient. Even a slight drop in success rate because of your distraction is a strike against a patient." Sadly she was sure he would miss the entirety of what she was trying to drill home to him. Either way, she didn't have time to worry about him just yet. As she had told Edegaru, she would try her best to make sure he was headed in the right direction as a medic but if he swayed off the path and became a liability she would handle it herself. After all, she was overseeing his training. Stretching her shoulders a little bit to loosen up she rolled up her sleeves. "Anyway. First is diagnosis. I'll walk you through the steps then, to make sure that you guys are doing it right, I am going to inflict an injury on myself. Find it." Mi had to fight back the urge to use her improved version of diagnosis. It took her a moment before she recalled the original way. "Basically you are going to probe me." Showing them her hands she only focused a few wisps of chakra into them. Taking a step toward Setsuna, she made an example by lightly passing her hands over his shoulder and chest. Personally, Mi hated this form of diagnosis but it was better to teach them this version first. "Now. Close your eyes..." She said, collecting her chakra in a different manner now. Her entire right hand was engulfed in black chakra that shimmered with silver sparks. The chakra was precise and molded to her hands. Once they closed their eyes, she bit down on her bottom lip and lightly tapped the area around her sixth rib. It was not even a nick but the resulting flash of pain let her know she had successfully scraped the bone. Any more pressure and she would snap it. The chakra Scalpel was by far the most useful and painful of her arsenal. "Okay. Now. Try it out." Mi said, keeping her voice even despite her discomfort.

Sebastian could only smile once again. it seemed her prenotions of him once again scewed her understanding of his statement yet again. With almost a laugh in his voice, the ninja spoke.

"It wasnt INSTEAD of healing, but meant as a deter int against incoming enemies to gain extra time, or even valuable seconds to heal those that i am apperently charged with healing. If I am to be concerned with healing the injured 100% then I can also be concious of my own health and position on the battlefield as a whole. There is no use for a dead medic....And seriously...do you hound Ninjutsu specialists about wanting to kill the enemy? If we kill the enemy first, then none of our village gets hurt...."

Sebastian closed his eyes, and began to focus his chakra. He needed to find her problem, and be the first to do it. He would make sure that he was not shown up.....

Kirigakure no Sato | Genin | Bukijutsu Class | Medical Ninja

--Don't Say a Word....--

Flou felt a presence within this being... Sebastian. Flou didn't like him, his advanced training of the Shigure Soen style allowed him to feel the intentions within others.. and he did not like the vibe that he got from Sebastian. It was a feeling that made Flou uneasy and made the ink in his gut churn, it wasn't fear it was disgust on this being. As he spoke to the Mizukage in such a disrespectful tone, Flou began to get angry, his skin made a rubbing sound as he made a small fist. Flou already knew the Diagnosis technique, he had plenty practice with him trying to find out what was wrong with himself in the year of him being sick. Instead he activated the technique, creating the Diagnosis technique on his hand and waved it around a bit on his hand. "Understood Mizukage..." He would keep quiet for now, but if this continued, he would step in front of Sebastian, his attitude and way of thinking pissed him off... and it was hard to piss off Flou.

Maybe it was because Flou was such a patriot to the Kirigakure village, that as he watched the mizukage, be almost insulted by one of his own ranking. Flou closed his eyes and began to wave his hand over her torso area, he would start there and move up... As he did he worked on mixtures in his mouth...

Flou felt a bit of ink in his mouth, bringing it up his esophagus, he put a bit of it in his mouth, swirling it in his mouth, and keeping his mouth firmly closed. He began t to stir the ink at first, At this point it was the first blend of ink, the Blinding Ink, he need to add chakra or something to the mix to add a sticking factor to the ink. This was Taffy Blend 013 and it would trap, encase and in some points, piss off people from it's purpose.
[1/3]

Flou first tried to inject more ink in his mouth to work with, as he did so, his eyes were still closed as he moved his hands around trying to find the wound on the Mizukage. The extra ink injected in his mouth was just what he needed as he added more and more chakra within the ink and creating bonds between the atoms within the ink, the bonds created within the ink began to give it an elastic property. This was good, now he had to give it, it's sticky property.
[2/3]

Flou injected his chakra into the ink once more and created a new set of atoms within the mass within his mouth. These properties would react with the ink and make it change its color to a deep pink. As Flou felt the mixture begin to form in his mouth and stick the the top of his mouth, he began to move his tongue around more to unstick it. He then brought it back and took out all of the properties and put the ink back inside the sack beside his gut. About at the same time he found the injury at her sixth rib, whether it was before or after another Genin, he did not know... His eyes were closed, all he did was release a sound from his mouth "Ah... There it is..."

If Sebastian had wanted some type of reaction or retort out of Mi she didn't oblige to his wishes. Instead, she merely stared at him, awaiting his move to follow through with the exercise. If he had explained it the first time in the way he just spoke then she would not have jumped the gun. Instead he played with his words; making them sound darker and more twisted. It was not her fault she had not understood him the first time nor was it her job to try and understand him. She didn't have the time for it and she most certainly didn't want to make some for him either. As Flou approached her, Mi studied his movements and watched carefully to pick out any wrongdoings of the technique he might be committing. Obviously he had already learned this one and was just humoring her by going along with her instruction. She noted that he was chewing on something? Or rolling something in his mouth. Mi concentrated on that as she stood there patiently, using that as a way to ignore her ache. "Setsuna, your turn." Mi muttered, her voice lower than usual. Being the practice dummy brought her closer to others, instantly making her uncomfortable. She would put up with it but would never get used to it.

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~

Chakra Pool: 280 ~ AC: 1800 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200

It seemed Flou was sure he did not need to learn anything knew and was more interested in learning more of his own clan techniques. That would undoubtedly be interesting to watch but Setsuna would probably need a proper demonstration later. In the meantime, the mizukage was staring directly at him and in the next second she was standing right in front of him. Instead of jumping back in surprise, the medic shinobi merely grinned to the woman. He could not of really expected anything less, right? Hearing her words he just had to say "At our best? But we'll each be injured in some way, won't we?" It was just something to point out and then he added "Besides, isn't it true that if cornered, one will fight on a level not yet achieved before?" Or something to that effect.

Then the Mizukage turned her attention to Sebastian and it seemed the male was more interested in poisons and such. Obviously his interest was more into the destructive arts of medicine. Not bad for an assassin but Setsuna was not sure just how trust worthy this male would be. Despite his thoughts, the male did not speak his mind and instead followed the Mizukage's orders as she said for them to close her eyes. Setsuna did so and waited patiently until told to open them again. Find an injury on her person? That would be easy enough. Setsuna allowed for the other's to go first, apparently they did not have any luck at first. When he had a chance, Setsuna moved in close and methodically searched her body. First her arms, it was the most unlikely spot and the other two had checked her torso, an obvious place. As he searched, he listened for anything, the slightest flinch, the barest intake of break.

From her arms, he moved over her chest but of course avoided her breasts, being respectful towards her as his superior and as a woman of course. Then he moved over the torso, feeling the areas of her back where Mi would be able to reach and then to her ribs. In all of five minutes, he managed to locate a spot that seemed off. "Got it." he said, taking his hands off the Mizukage and stepping back.

Mi stood absolutely still as Setsuna took his turn. She was not surprised that they all accomplished that one. Mi was a little hesitant about the next one. She wasn't fond of inflicting pain on herself but it was a lot more instructive to use a live dummy. Letting out a soft sigh, she reached into the pouch that clung to her thigh. In one practiced movement she retrieved one of the kunai that resided in there. Scowling now as she got ready to take the instruction further she carefully considered what she would guide them in next. "Cleanse and Blood coagulation are two important aspects of your Eiseijutsu arsenal, for the time being. Cleanse is simple. All you have to do is focus on burning away the foreign contaminates. With Blood Coagulation you need to get just enough chakra into the wound to begin staunching the torn blood vessels to stop the bleeding. It doesn't heal the wound but it stops the bleeding." Mi almost groaned allowed as she tightened her grip on the kunai and held her milky white arm out, the soft underpart up. Putting the tip to her skin, she turned her head in the opposite direction and applied pressure, dragging the kunai up along her arm until she reached two inches above the dip where her elbow was. The wound was not dire but because of Mi's thin blood she bled more than necessary. "Give it a quick clean, each of you and then combine your efforts to staunch it. I have Hemophilia so it's imperative you don't drag this one out too long. You can sit this one out if you have already done this Flou." Mi said, wincing a little bit. With her free hand she gripped the location where she had ended the incision, cutting off the circulation a little bit.

Kirigakure no Sato | Genin | Bukijutsu Class | Medical Ninja

--Don't Say a Word....--

Flou watched as the Mizukage pulled out a kunai, he didn't like where this was going... "Ah." Flou said wanting to stop the Mizukage. He didn't want her to inflict pain into herself, she was the Mizukage! A bit of sweat went down the side of his face as she spoke of the next techniques, Cleanse, one that Flou did know. But the other was Blood Coagulation. Flou had not learnt that one, and that worried him. When the Mizukage tightened her grip on the kunai, Flou squinted a bit, he didn't want to see the Mizukage do such a thing... When it was over he saw a huge amount of blood coming out, in the notice of her having Hemophilia. Flou's jaw almost dropped in shock and fear. When she told him he could sit out, he shook his head violently.

Flou quickly brought up his hand on the furthest part of her arm, he knew that if he blocked off the entrance, or at least the furthermost entrance point, it would slow the bleeding, even if it was by a bit. He put chakra into his hands, activating the Cleansing Technique, not touching her, his hands were sterilized, he then hovered his hands over the the area of the wound he would heal, giving room for the Two Jiongu's as well. After Cleansing of the area, he began to work on the Blood Coagulation Technique. He looked at his hands and looked up at the Mizukage. This was dangerous, some people that would do this kind of stuff did this type of movement [Old saying: Down the river, not across the stream] for killing themselves, and the Mizukage did it for training purposes!
[1/3]

Flou tried to understand the mechanics of the technique, as he thought of what was within blood, what was needed to stop bleeding and to Coagulate Blood. To coagulate blood, one had to produce plasma within ones body. Plasma was the substance within a human being that created scabs and covered wounds. Flou vaguely remembered his adoptive parents to not remove scabs, that it would take time for it to reform. Flou didn't understand Coagulation and such back then but now he understood quite well. Coagulation was the solidification of a fluid into a, well, solid. Flou began to think of a way to make his chakra, attract and, or create Plasma. He began to fiddle with his Chakra frequency and it's needs and quantities.
[2/3]

As Flou practiced it, the stress of watching the beloved Mizukage bleed on the floor made Flou on edge, he wasnt able to focus. Obviously, one of Flou's fears were that Kirigakure would lose a Kage because of the foolishness of a few Genin... The pain of being part of the group that killed, or allowed the death of the Mizukage would be horrible. Although that wouldn't happen though, Flou knew Healing Hands Minor, and he had a feeling that Setsuna did too... He had been around just as long as Flou, so it was likely. But Flou wasn't focused, it was a bit obvious that in a time of stress and danger to an importance or symbol of the Mist Village, Flou was unable to focus... this was one of his weak points... As Flou began to get the technique right, his area on the Kages arm began to slowly stop a bit of the bleed. Flou's face began to brighten as he saw he had achieved what was needed.

You may think your special...

Sebastian let out an internal sigh, trying to read into her eyes to see if there was fear when she struck herself. Allowing the idea to drop, the ninja walked over and performed the rather simple technique of "cleanse" to make sure the wound was clean. No use in letting her die on him from a simpel wound...she was his outlet to learning medical techniques. [cleanse learned]

The Jiongu began to concentrate his chakra flow. The next technique would require him to insert chakra into the vict.....patience body and aid the platelets in the blood to stop the bleeding. With a brief exhale, the medic in training began. [1/3]
