The tigress wasn't completely sure about this homework as she looked at the jar in her hands. The dust bunny seemed a bit unhappy about being in it. However, at the same time Willow wasn't about to let it out.
So she waited outside for Malodore, at least outside wasn't crowded and maybe it'd be easier to work. At least Willow had hoped so, since with the ruckus the bunnies had caused in the classroom she wasn't about to suggest the library. "Oh... I hope I'm in the right spot." She said shifting slightly as she waited.

It wasn't too much more of a wait before the plague doctor appeared, though its focus seemed to be more on the nearby Ghost dormitories than anything else. It had never been over here before - the Demon dormitories, yes, and the Monster ones to visit Hasuko, but never the Ghost or Reaper buildings.
Still, when it got close enough, it shived its gaze from the building to Willow. "Buon giorno," it said politely, bobbing its head. "Are you ready to... ah ... observe?"
Not that it really expected much out of this observation. The dust bunnies didn't seem too active now that they were in the jar.

Willow smiled when she saw Malodore approaching, ahh good she wasn't in the wrong place after all! She nodded her head softly, "Hello." She wasn't sure what Buno giorno was but she could only guess it was a greeting.
Her tail flickered as she nodded her head, "Yes, well the best that we can I suppose?" She paused, "I'm not really sure what we're suppose to be observing for. Just to see what they do?"
Her ears had fallen back in a bit of a worried stance as she spoke, hoping that the other wouldn't be mad at her. If Malodore had voiced it's thoughts she would've had to agree they didn't seem that active in the jars.

"I would assume so." Malodore sat down on the grass, sinking into a neat cross-legged position. It put the jar down on the ground in front of it, then stared into the glass.
....
"No. Ah, they don't... seem... to do much," it said, awkwardly, after a moment. Would Professor Savage really accept it laid around in the jar, apparently comatose?

Willow followed sitting on her legs, and after placing the jar in front of her, she placed her hands on her knees. Malodore was right, they didn't really do much at all. The tiger tilted her head looking at the dust bunnies and then back to it, "Do you think it'll be okay to take one of them out of the jar?"
It seemed like a risk, but perhaps a risk they had to take to get whatever Savage wanted from them. Willow curled her tail around her, "Hm... or maybe we could try feeding them something?"

"Ah! Yes, of course, feeding! An excellent idea." Malodore sounded pleased - it was a most scientific suggestion, applying different stimuli to the subject in order to get a result. "What do you suppose... more dust, perhaps? Dirt?" It sank its claws into the grass and scraped up a bit of dirt, just in case.

Willow seemed to ponder the options, ears flickering as she did, "Dirt sounds like a good option. Dust we'd have to go looking for. So maybe we should start with what's closest?" She watched as it sank claws into the dirt and grass.
The Byakko picked up a jar and slowly loosened a lid, keeping her hands solid before opening it enough for Malodore to put the dirt in. "Here you go. I guess since there's two we could always feed one dirt and find dust for the other?"

"Or not feed the other. Keep it as a control, yes..." Now that this was turning into an Experiment, the plague doctor was more interested in the proceedings. It quickly sprinkled some of the dirt into the opened jar, then sat back and peered at the dust bunny within. Hopefully something interesting would happen.

Willow nodded, that sounded like a good idea. "Okay" she said with a smile. It seemed Malodore had some experience with testing things like this.
She watched the dust bunny as it seemed to kind of just roll around in the dirt that was given to it. It seemed to be getting bigger some how. "I wonder if just adding dirt and dust make them grow..."
She looked at it curiously seeing what the plague doctor thought.

Malodore nodded, its gaze still fixed on the bunny within. "Probably a correct hypothesis. Ugh, what terrible creatures they are..." It could not make a disgusted face, but its tone made up for that. "I suppose I ought to add some to my own as well..."
It carefully loosened the lid, then quickly dumped in a few pinches of dry dirt before clapping the lid closed again. The dustbunny inside immediately rolled about, and indeed did seem to get bigger... its eyes seemed to get redder, too. Huh.
"Shall we try adding some more? That is a definite reaction." The plague doctor sounded more eager this time. This was proper science now!

Willow nodded, "Hm... I'm not quite so sure they're soo terrible yet. They seem to just like dust and dirt..." She was staring at the dust bunny in her jar, before watching Malodore add dirt to it's own jar.
Willow tilted her head as it's dust bunny started to have redder eyes, "Odd... I wonder if they'd bite us if we tried to pick them up..."
She gave a nod however when it asked about adding more dirt, "Hm... yes adding some more might be interesting. I just hope they don't get too big for the jar... I'd feel sort of bad leaving it all cramped up." The tiger added, as she picked up some more dirt and opened the lid so she could dump it over the dust bunny.

"I wouldn't feel bad at all," Malodore said, dryly. "Perhaps you are a better person than I, but I find it hard to have sympathy for animate filth..." It leaned in to peer at her dust bunny, curious how it would react to the new infusion of material.

Willow chuckled, "Mmm perhaps, but it's kinda cute once you get over the.... filth. Or I'm just odd." She shrugged and seemed not to have a problem with being the odd one.
She watched as the bunny grew and indeed it's eyes did get more red. The tiger paused and looked at Maladore. "Do you think it'd be safe to pick this one out of it's jar and see what it does?"

"Safe? Probably not. But it would be interesting." The plague doctor's eyes glittered behind its lenses. "For science!"

"Right for Science! And human studies.... which seems to be very science related." Willow was thinking about this for a second since Malodore said it probably wasn't safe. She reached into the jar to pick up the dust bunny when it suddenly licked her hand. "Ick... Dust bunny slobber..."
After it licked her hand she decided to grab the thing up by it's ears. Holding it for a second to look at it curiously, "It's not nice to lick ghouls." She said to it not really expecting it to listen as she sat it down in front of them. "Huh...."
The tiger looked a little confused as the dust bunny started to roll around. She let her hand that had been slobber on go intangible to remove the slobber.
