Kuro a father now and protective out only over his daughters but his lover who is his lifetime mate. His eyes scan the area as he watches his lover Amu. Seeing their daughters are adults now and off doing their own thing. He stretches out his wings as he then rears up to stretch his front legs. His self still alert and on guard of the area they are in.

Amu had been grazing on the grass but was distracted when she felt him staring at her. "What is it Kuro?" She asked him as she turned around to face him, her soft pink eyes a little pale. The pink mare was a little more tired than usual but it didn't change the fact that she was happy.

Kuro looking at Amu "You look paler then normal and I am worried. So will you tell me?" He wondered as he still watches her a little more with love in his eyes. He then smiles as Kai flies around Amu also worried about her. "My love if you need anything tell me Please."

Amu smiled at her love, she couldn't believe how things worked out for her. "I am just a little more tired than usual." She told him the truth as she walked over to him and laid down beside him. The pink mare loved to lay beside her mate, it brought her warmth to her heart and she couldn't be any happier. She watched as the little bird continued to flit around their bodies, she had grown used to the little thing.

Kai lands on Kuro's back as Kuro lays down by this mate and stretches a wing out over her to shade her a bit. He loved to things like that to her. "Aww I see. So just tired." He wonders a bit as he looks about and scans the area making sure no danger in near them.

Amu watched as Kuro scanned the area, she had no idea what he was looking for so she decided to ask. "Honey what are you searching for?" She said the words in a normal tone, there was no sense of urgency or fear. Her eyes glanced over at Kai and smiled a little at the bird, she remembered she hadn't introduced Ikuto to him yet and she wandered if maybe her mate had seen him sneaking around.

"I am making such there is no danger in the area. That is all." Kuro-Yume smiles as he looks down at his lover. He then goes back to scanning the area. "Why is there something I should be looking out for more then the rest?' He wonders a bit.

Amu figured it was time her lover meet her familiar before something bad happened that couldn't be reversed. "Ikuto." She called out in a sweet voice, she hoped the black and blue little lion would obey her and appear. With luck, the little lion appeared and tensed when he saw that Kuro was in fact around. He started to turn and run but it was too late, Amu stood up and walked over to her familiar. "Kuro this is Ikuto, my familiar." She introduced the little lion and hoped that Kuro would be accepting.

Blinking Kuro-Yume looks at his lover then to her familiar. "So he is like Kai." he points out as he smiles a bit. "That is a good thing. Familiars are great to have around and very helpful. So now I don't have to worry so much about you."

Amu got a little flustered at the thought of him having to worry about her all the time. "You never had to worry about me that much before!" She got a little upset and her voice cracked when she spoke in her loud voice but she didn't care. She glared at Kuro, it was stupid, she knew it in the back of her mind to be upset at him but she couldn't help it.She walked away from him without another word, knowing Ikuto would follow her.

"But I love you more and more now so I can't help but to worry about you." Kuro points out as he watches her a bit and then sighs. He prances up to her then dances about her. "My love I know you are upset. So without another word. Yet me make it up to you. I will do whatever it is you ask of me."
He is hoping that she will allow him this and that maybe they can fix this together. He isn't sure how worrying got him in this mess but it did and now he needs to fix this another all Amu's happiness is the world to him.

Amu sighed heavily, she knew it was really silly and ridiculous for her to get so upset just because he worried about her. But it was more like she was less independent somehow? If he worried about her all the time, she had to watch what she did more often now then not to soothe his nerves and she realized how tied down she was now than before. Her frown deepened at the thought but at the same time she knew that it was no mistake that she settled down with Kuro, she really cared for him a great deal. It should be no problem for her to slow down and set her pace with his right?
"I am sorry Kuro, it is just that I wonder if you worry too much for nothing I guess?" She tried to choose her words carefully, she smiled at him as she nuzzled him. "I love you more then words can express my Kuro, it pains me that you felt like you had to worry all time about me?" She posed her last words as a question because she was not sure about them herself but they felt right on her tongue. Her heart and nerves began to ease as she continued to show him her affection by nuzzling and nipping at his ear. She didn't like to see him upset, specially after it was because of something she did, foolish or not.

Nuzzling her back as he smiles a bit. "It isn't that I have to worry about you. It is that I want to. You aren't doing anything wrong. And I don't wish for you to change for me at all. I love you the way you are. But there will be times I will look out for you more then my well being. It is out of love. There is nothing you are doing wrong my love." He points out as he nuzzles against her again. She was his love. He would die for her if he had to.
He stays close to her. Loving on her. Something he doesn't think that he does enough. He rubs his head against her neck showing her love. "You are my world. You make me happy. With you I can over come all odds."

The soft pink mare smiled softly at her lover, she nuzzled him back as she listened to his words. "That is very sweet of you my sweet Kuro, I love you as well." She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of him against her body. She missed the days that they would do things like this, perhaps they just needed to get away. "Kuro, I miss the way you would touch me." She grinned at him, a spark forming into her pink eyes, she turned her head and nipped at his ear.
