The blankness of being birthed in a family so lively. He once heard that he was happy along with them but somehow during the time he went in to the age of juvenile, something changed about him. Like he was something different than the 'Segue Segue' they used to know. Something completely opposite than the happy self he used to be. He couldn't remember how he used to be! How was he suppose to act happy if he... forgot how to be? He was tired of saying sorry- and they were tired of hearing it, he was sure. It was like he was walking on an invisible fine line that he carved himself to be, feeling comfort of someone looking over his shoulder to guide him but that felt empty to.. Cold.. Why Did Segu Segu have to leave?
Thoughs grown up thoughts were whispering in his ears and he felt estranged... Taking time to escape the hectic loud home and coming to a park of the rock hill over the pond.. Around him was like a golden field of the Savannah.. it wasn't too far from the green grass of the forest but he was lured to this spot only because where it seemed strange for a pond to surface.. Looking down at his reflection with a blank look. Begging it to reveal himself... so he could fit and belong again. Ears went back as he only saw his pathetic self. Someone whom wasn't Segu Segu.. Whom seemed not to be phased by this.. Exhausted as he laid on the rock, looking down and sprawled out for the most part..
He wished he could be like his father, brave.. maybe even learn to care for someone like he did Satomei. A female and her cubs that his father introduced him too which added on to the hectic den.. More cubs, and little by little he felt like he was being forgotten.. Maybe that was a good thing? Maybe if he couldn't be happy like the rest of them then he wouldn't disappoint them if he disappeared! If he lured himself away.. if he didn't exist..

Bashira was slowly hobbling along and quietly cursing to herself under her breath. Of course today would be the day that she got ambushed by a pack of hyenas that were feeling particularly bold. Fortunately, her strength, flexibility, and speed had gotten her out of more than a couple of potetially disaterous situations.
While she had managed to defeat them in the end, it had not escaped completely intact. The fact that she would be forced to stop moving for a while was irritating her. However, she knew that it was dangerous to keep moving before she healed completely, and in reality, she knew that it wouldn't take a very long time.
The most that she had suffered was a possibly sprained leg, several scratches and small bite wounds. Sighing deeply, she looked up into the sky and wondered where exactly it was that she so despereately needed to be. On days like this, she wished that she was already there and not continually search for an unknown place.
As she made her way closer to the forest, she came upon a grassy field. The moment the soft sun-colored grass pressed against her paws, she immediately wanted to do nothing more than lay down in it. Attempting to go a little further, she thoughtlessly put down the leg that she had been holding up and felt the sharp pain shooting up her leg and through her body.
Hissing at the pain, she gave in and limped to a thick patch of grass and laid down. "How am I going to get anywhere like this."

He wasn't at all able to track down gazelle yet nor move too far from home but he could smell, when his father was around but this smell was far too different. He was hanging his body over the ledge of the rock til the scent his nose. Blood. His ears moved from one side to the next as he lifted head in sync. The blank look of confusion before his body followed.. Jumping down the rock and sniffing out the smell. Blinking when he saw something in the grass.. Where the dried grass was- he couldn't tell where the lady was- not with the color but he smelt her out like a tracking down and came upon her when he almost stepped on her tail. Looking down to see something of grey in color he stopped. Then turned around too see what and who the tail belonged to.
'Woah..' He thought, but only opened his eyes wider. Then examined further to see the scrapes and the bite marks. Lowering his head down he circled the female til he got to her chest area.. wary if she would attack or not but simply starred at her. Astounded since he hadn't seen another cheetah for the exception of his family in these parts. He was sure his father marked this as their home-... But to see another.. Where did she come from? He almost had to many questions but not enough breath to voice them.
He remembered a lioness passing by that said medicine and sleep could heal wounds- whom healed his hurt foot last time but he wasn't to keen on moving.. for now.

She didn’t know how long she had been laying there. All she knew was that it felt good to lie down for once. As much as she tried to keep her eyes open and stay conscious, her day had already caught up with her. Not to mention that she had been traveling nonstop before she had even been attacked.
Heaving a deep sigh, she thought that maybe she would have to start traveling at night again. The last time she’d done that what when she was in much more hostile territory. As she stared blankly into the distance, she heard a soft sound some distance from where she was laying.
Immediately, she snapped her eyes closed and slowed her breathing as much as she could. In that state that she was currently in, she was hardly up to defend herself anymore, and she’d rather that whoever it was thought she was dead or dying.
As the other approached her, she held as still as she could. She listened closely, and whoever it was seemed rather small. Taking a slow deep breathe, she realized that whoever it was, was also rather young. Exhaling in mild annoyance, she opened her eyes, only to see a very young cheetah standing before her.
“What are you doing?”

The breath meant she was alive. That was good- he thought about maybe curling against to cold body to keep her warm til she woke. That's what one did when another was.. well asleep no? Tilting his head and leaning more forward til she looked at him. It felt like a piercing feeling. But he returned her with a mostly blank expression and almost astounded look in his eyes.
He simply shrugged in answer to her and lowered his body to the ground. Coiling in to a ball to stare at her yet still. He wouldn't move.. not til something was said otherwise or he was attacked.
Then his head shot up, and quickly his body turned 180 and shifted away in to the tall grass. Quickly he excelled in his speedy way before returning not even moments later. Quickly pushing his paws in front of him for a sliding stop before placing a carcass of a dead hare close to her. Then lowered his body a few paces away. Watched. Waited a few minutes before crawling up and pushing it forward before quickly backing away again to watch.. With big eyes to see what she would do..

Bashira kept her eyes closely trained on the young boy. What was he doing? As he stared at her, she gazed right back at him. Where had he come from? Watching him, she waited for him to say or do something like she’d expected him to upon being found, but he never did.
Despite her wounds, she had been ready to spring into a defensive position when he leapt into action. However, instead she had merely laid there and watching as he returned with the hare. Lowering her head down to sniff the hare, she looked back at him suspiciously.
“Who are you?,” she asked. Maybe she was being watched and the boy had been sent? Was she safe and just being paranoid? Whether it was or not, she would have to figure it out. If there were anything that she wanted, it would be to not get into anymore trouble for the rest of the day.

That blankness did not quiver a moment. Just merely watched and when she spoke he lifted his head in anticipation but she spoke only in utter disappointment for what he had imagined. Then his ears panned back in some sort of annoyance to his face.
"Eat."
With harshness to his voice in an attempt show her that what he was doing was his own doing. That look in her eyes- he read others.. their needs were his duty to archive and make true. Hers- were asking rest and a safeness from what he knew. Lifting his body and looking across the lands as if scanning.. Then sat down as he hung his head low to watch her- see if she would eat. After all.. it would get cold.
"My father's son." He finally answered. Then looked out once more.. If she would move.. he'd get her under the rock.. that would give her more protection than the outside grasslands.. But he wouldn't push it. She looked ignored or tired- one of the two.. He wasn't too trained on smelling blood just yet- his nose had to adapt still for a youth. Unlike most- he didn't ask her, her name- the why's. He just merely protected and served use for in an attempt to keep her here... What had this child put in mind? Only truth lies within the future.

Bashira raised her brow at the young cheetah. She stared at him for several minutes before tearing into the hare. What was this kid’s game? Why was he seemingly trying to help her?
If she didn’t know anything else, it was that help didn’t come free. However, the kid didn’t seem overly suspicious, so she relaxed a bit, but stayed alert.‘Really? That’s telling,' she thought dryly. Closing her eyes briefly, she did a quick assessment of her state.
Slowly, she lifted herself up so that she could take a better look at the kid that had come to bother her. She stayed trained on him, watching ever little movement.

Simply fascinating, the wonders of what females could bring- but unlike him to wonder any further than that thought. His mother, lived away from them and he had to understand this at a young age. What was she like- what were his other siblings like? But those things came with ease as he tried to make himself useful for whatever his siblings he did live with- needed. A shoulder to cry on- a tough face to keep them motivated. This began to shape the way he was. Talking, just wasn't nessessary as the extent as his siblings took it. Talking all day and never really getting their point acrosss.. Short- sweet and to the point. Listening was his ultimate tool- watching body language and understanding the hidden meanings to words. But there- yet again...
"Anything else?" He lifted his body, and exhaled as he went in a full bow to show her obidence to her needs. His tail didn't pad- his whole attention all the way to his toes were to her. As she watched him- he equally watched her. "There isn't anyone else around. If that's what your looking for. You're safe here- for the moment."

She stayed there for a moment, watching him, wondering about him. Sitting until her fatigue took over and she slowly sank back down to the ground. Well, if there was any a time that she'd be willing to down her guard a little, it would be now.
The boy before her didn't seem to present much of a threat to her. Still, what was he doing catering to her like he was? Bashira had noticed that he'd mentioned a father. Did he have family somewhere, and if so, what was he doing out here?
Oh well, today had certainly been one of the stranger days she'd had since she left there. "All right then," she began, sighing, if the kid was going to stick around then she was going to try him and see what he was really about. "I am going to sleep, as I am exhausted. Can you make sure I make it awake alive?" With a small grin to herself, she let her body fully collapse and become limp on the ground.
Bashira didn't know what she was thinking, trusting this random boy. Well, she figured that if she found herself slain, it would only be her fault. Closing her eyes, she turned her head slightly and said, "Thanks for the rabbit."

There was something not quite right with the boy. Though young, for some reason his morals growing up her slightly skewed. While his siblings learned to always help others and protect, he found himself sometimes watching as something else got eaten. Not with satisfaction, not even an inch to move. This would slowly get worse as he would grow without telling a single soul about it. He was quiet and serene for a reason.
Blankly he stared at her sleep. Til at least an hour before he went around scanning the perimeter. His ears went back as he heard the faint call to his father. Where she laid now, wasn't too close or too far but he wouldn't just leave her. Instead, calling one the 'animals' they had 'befriended' while living here. Watching them grow up. A bird answered his call and he made sure it explained to his father that he wanted to be alone for a while by the waters. Calming his mind in meditation. This in turn bought him more time.
He went back to her and started to examine her yet again. Noting the injuries as he passed her by. With that he went to work on what he was taught from his father. The tingling leafs with a little bit of mud. After that he circled and examined as if she were a work of art that he was trying to finish. After the many pass around her, he finally threw himself on the ground and rolled to look at the sky.
