She would not bring up her problems tonight. Not bout Roch, or her panicking. No, all of these would be shoved away to the back of her mind. Junko had invited her over for a sleepover, and Xiu intended on enjoying it, as sleepovers were meant to be enjoyed. Chatting, giggling...it was going to be fun, and since Junko had agreed to the dream diving, it would hopefully help Xiu learn how to expand her abilities a little as well.

She packed a small bag with her pajamas and anything else she thought that she needed, and then she headed out. Don't think about it, The Baku reminded herself, biting her bottom lip as she followed the path to the monster dorms, Not tonight. You don't need to bring it up tonight. Maybe later, at some point, she would invite Junko and Lizzy over to ask for some advice, but until then...

Xiu was so deep in her thoughts that she nearly walked right past Junko's door. Halting, she took a few steps back, taking a deep breath as she stopped in front of her friend's door. "Junko?" She gave a few raps, and then paused, "It's Xiu!"

Junko was completely unaware of Xiu's recent boil troubles. As far as she knew, the ghoul was completely in good spirits and just as carefree as ever. Junko herself was in the midst of getting things ready for Xiu's stay; this consisted of taking the minipets for a walk, feeding them and then putting them in their play pen for the night, cleaning up, reminding Seiji she'd be staying in her own room for once and other various adorable things couples talked about on the phone, changing into her pajamas and then finally setting up a makeshift bed for Xiu should she not want to sleep in the same bed. She wouldn't be offended if she didn't, it was hard to sleep with Junko and all this hair.

Though her hair was put up tonight.

Junko had finished earlier than she thought she would and spent the last few minutes of waiting playing a game on her phone. Angry Corrividus. They were so angry! Ahhhhhh! But finally there came a few small knocks at the door and she heard Xiu calling her name, turning off the game and hurrying to the door. "Hi Xiu~!" Junko was grinning as she opened the door, already standing to one side so Xiu could go right ahead and enter. She was so excited! It'd been forever since she'd had a friend sleep in her room! And this was a new friend at that. She was excited to get to know her better, especially if they were going to be doing the whole 'Love Squad' thing with Lizzy. She paused a moment, tilting her head to one side. Was Xiu okay? She looked..off.

Maybe it was her imagination!

Xiu had been a little distracted when the door opened--her eyes indicated that she was mentally off thinking about something--but she quickly snapped out of it at Junko's voice. The ghoul immediately dropped her bag on the floor in favour of giving her friend a hug, her expression lightning up with a smile. "H-hello! Thank you again for inviting me!" This wouldn't be any ordinary sleepover, however. Not with the dream diving that was going to happen. Ironically, her last sleepover had turned into a dream diving session as well, though that one had been...unintentional.

Shaking that memory from her mind, she drew back and picked up her bag again, slipping into the room. As it was her first time in Junko's room, Xiu did a quick scan of her new surroundings before turning back to the ghoul. "You have a lovely room!" She complimented, her tail giving a little swish. Of course, that wasn't very surprising--Junko seemed like the type who had good taste in designing things.

The Baku hoped that none of the anxiety she had been feeling would show on her face. So far, she thought that she was doing a fairly decent job at remaining cheerful and natural, as she would usually be under such situations. It was a sleepover with a friend! It was supposed to be fun!

She kept repeating this to herself.

The hug was eagerly accepted with a giggle and a returned hug of her own, still completely unsuspecting of anything that could possibly be wrong with her friend. That stuttered hello had been nothing. Clearly it had just been, like...nervousness or excitement or something, right? It couldn't be anything they had to worry about. "You're welcome anytime invited or not, silly!" Junko laughed as she released her friend, grinning with excitement. This was going to be great! They could talk, do fun ghoul things and have fun and then Junko would go to sleep and Xiu would do her dream thing. Honestly Junko had no idea what this entailed but she was curious to find out! Would she remember her dream this time? Would she feel Xiu in her dream? In her head? Would it be like having The Mistress there? It was all very interesting! She'd never met a baku before.

Once Xiu was inside the door was closed behind her. "Welcome! Make yourself at home!" Junko's minipets were all watching from in their playpen, eyes wide and tails wagging. They were at various levels of excitement from Sayuri who was...well...Sayuri, to Momo who was the calmest of them all. He was a rather mellow minipet since growing and Junko was just fine with that. She didn't need two Sayuris. She blushed and looked around as Xiu complimented her room, smiling bashfully and rubbing the back of her neck. "Thanks, it's nice to have my own room to decorate so I may have gone a little crazy. Though there's still lots I could probably do with it..." Junko was looking around now as if she had ideas. There really was a lot she could still do here...

Ah! But this wasn't the time to be thinking about that! She had a guest, and not just any guest but a friend! She could wonder about her room later. Junko watched Xiu for a moment, frowning softly. Now that she got a good look at her...she looked genuinely nervous. Junko recognized that look since it was one she had often; someone who was anxious but trying really, really hard to hide it. "...Umm! Let's see..well, we have the whole night! What would you like to do first? I have some movies.." Not as many as Seiji but she had a few she'd rented! And a few she'd borrowed. A glance was given to Xiu, pursing her lips a moment. How to handle her nervousness. Should she just ask outright? No, she couldn't possibly. What if Xiu didn't want to talk about it? She could understand why but...Junko had learned it was so much better to talk about things than to hold them in. Holding things back caused problems. Sigh.

"I-I know what you mean," She smiled, glancing around the room, "B-being able to decorate your own room, I mean." Xiu could definitely relate in that aspect! It was nice to have something a little more modern, as opposed to the super traditional room that she had back at home. Turning her attention to the minis, the ghoul's expression brightened slightly as she took them in. Almost timidly, she approached the pen, peering down at the pair of minis.

"And who are these two?" She smiled, fluttering her fingers at Sayuri and Momo in a wave. They...they were pretty cute! Crouching down by the pen, a small grin spread over her face as she regarded the minis. "H...hello there!"

She was oblivious to the fact that Junko had caught on that something was wrong. At the suggestion, the Baku turned to smile over her shoulder, giving an almost imperceptable nod of her head. "I, um...a movie sounds good with me! " Though...perhaps watching something other than...um, any movie that involved confessions. Because that would be way too awkward.

"What movies do you have?" Standing up, she moved away from the pen and towards the friend, head tilted with interest.

So much stuttering. She didn't take Xiu as someone who just did that, she always seemed so outgoing and sweet. What could have happened that would have her acting so...strangely? Strangely for Xiu? Junko watched as she wandered over to where Sayuri and Momo were sitting and smiled, at least until Xiu asked who 'these two' were. "...Two?" Junko walked up to the playpen as well and frowned, looking around. "The fox is Sayuri and the scareon is Momo. Seiji gave him to me while I was staying with him at his parents' house...where's.." She turned around, her brow pinched with concern. Where was Kuro? While Junko was wandering off to find the missing pygmy fox Sayuri had pranced and climbed on top of Momo to use the scareon as leverage to get closer to the visitor. Pet me! Yay! Pet me! And only me! Yay petting! Yay! Momo grunted and flopped over to roll on his wide, watching as he sent Sayuri tumbling head over tail across the playpen and wagging his ghostly tail with a sound that could probably be called an animal's idea of laughing. Sayuri had tumbled and rolled until she bumped against the wall of the pen, her back against the wall and her body upside down. The most important thing? Her tail. That pesky purple fluffy was in front of her face. The fox's eyes widened and the tail wagged side to side. Hi! Hi tail! How are you? I'm going to bite you now! She tried lifting her head to bite the tip of the tail, snapping at it as it wagged left and right. Nooooo! Foiled again!

Junko meanwhile had found Kuro, he had escaped his pen and was snuggled soundly underneath the blankets on Junko's bed. The ghoul giggled and turned back to Xiu. "And this," She flipped the blankets off the fox. "is Kuro. He's Sayuri's brother." Introductions taken care of she picked up the black pygmy fox and carried him back to the play pen, gently placing him down into it with the others.

"I have a few movies. Mostly romance, or comedy." Junko blushed. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy horror movies and stuff just...she really liked comedy and romance. She walked over to a small stack of movies she had piled onto the small table by her television. "The House on the Hill, a romantic comedy about the spirit of a doctor of an old insane asylum where some humans come in trying to have a party. The Living, a comedy about a group of undead who try to get by in a human city by applying for work at mall...Sixth Sense a heartbreaking romance about a ghost who thinks he's human and finds out his wife has found another man..." The list went on, but apparently those three were her favorite.

Aaah, how could the minis be so adorable? Xiu felt her mood lift slightly just by watching them and their silly antics. Immediately moving back towards the pen, the Baku couldn't resist the urge to lean over and flutter her fingers in front of the pair of minis, giggling as she tried to pet both Momo and Sayuri. How energetic the little pygmy fox was! And so friendly too!

When Junko brought another pygmy fox over, Xiu smiled and waved. "Kuro, hmm? That's a nice name!" For a moment, it looked as if her stutter had disappeared, fading away as she was successfully distracted by the minipets. However, once the attention was turned back to the movies--and more specifically, romance movies--she suddenly seemed to stiffen up again.

Now, romance movies were usually one of her favourite genres--she and Junko shared similar genre loves, it seemed--but with everything that had been going on lately, and the awkwardness...? "I-I, um...I don't want to think too much about...about romance lately," Her voice had softened, and it seemed a little sheepish as she continued, "Maybe The Living? I-I mean, The House on the Hill would be okay too, o-or if you prefer the Sixth Sense, then maybe..."

The stutter was back...

Junko frowned a moment as she watched Xiu, worry bubbling up for her friend. "Yeah, we can watch The Living. Anything you want, Xiu. You're my guest." And she wouldn't be a proper hostess if she didn't accomodate to her guest's wishes, would she? She put the other movies down and popped the DVD into the player, turning on the skelevision to let the advertisements before the movie itself play in the background for a bit. The ghoul was already ready for bed, having decided it would be best to change into her PJs and do her hair up now before she had a guest. It saved time and stopped from having an uncomfortable moment; Junko wasn't comfortable with her body enough to change in front of anyone but Seiji. She forced the frown away and hummed a happy little tune as she collected some pillows, careful not to step on the makeshift bed she had set up beside her own. It was Xiu's if she wanted it, or Xiu could share her own bed. She was fine with either option.

"I've never seen this one. Have you? To be honest I just checked them out at the library by genre, I didn't actually ask if any of them were good or not. I've seen The House on the Hill and a little bit of Sixth Sense buuuut only, like, ten minutes of it. Never seen any of The Living before." She sat down on the edge of her own bed and watched Xiu. How to go about finding out what was wrong with her friend. They were friends, right? And friends confided in friends when they were sad...and Xiu was clearly sad. She was trying to hide it but she wasn't doing very well at it.

She pat the bed beside her, suddenly looking very excited. "Can I brush your hair? It's so pretty!" Nothing was wrong with a little bonding over hair, right?

Why was she so nervous, anyways? Sure, she was a little caught up about certain things, but...really, she was here to enjoy herself, and Junko was being so kind to her! After a bit of mental scolding, Xiu allowed herself to relax slightly, directing a smile towards the fukutachi-onna. "I, um...I've never seen it either, nope! But it sounds like it's an interesting movie! The only thing I've heard about the Sixth Sense is that it's really sad."

There! Practically stutter free.

Xiu blushed at the sudden request, her eyes widening as she shyly ran a hand through her long hair. "Y-you...you think so? I mean, I was thinking of getting it cut, so..." Trailing off, she looked a little hesitant, but she nodded in agreement in the end. "U-um, if you'd like! I'm never sure what to do with my hair, so if you have any tips..."

And maybe, while they were doing this, the Baku could ask Junko a little about relationships.
