Cloud had threw his bags on the bed. His drive up took very long, which caused his legs to be very sore. He took one look at the decorated room. Its Victorian era style reminded him of his Grandma's house back home in Yorkshire. The bed looked extremely comfortable and he decided to lay down. He hopped onto the bed and turned his Ipod on. He would lay there till he fall asleep.

Kali entered. Seeing a boy she kept quiet. Dragging her bag in she just put in a closet. Hello Kali managed to say to the boy. Her tail flicked slightly in excitement. A real school! It was so exciting! She could talk to others, it was amazing. She straightened her pleated white skirt slightly.

Cloud, still laying on the bed, heard a door open. The slight creek jarred his eyes open quickly. He looked over and caught sight of a woman coming in.
She's pretty, he thought to himself. He heard her greeting and decided that it was proper to acknowledge her.
"Hello, my name is Cloud. May I ask to know your name?," he said sounding as polite as he could. He always tried to give a good impression to people when he first met them.

Kali smiled slightly. Her ears flicked slightly in acknowledgement. Kali and you? she asked in a soft spoken tone. She smiled at the boy. She wondered if every school like this roomed boys and girls together. Her white tipped tail flicked again slightly. She looked around the room already getting distracted.

"The name is Cloud, Cloud Davis. Well it is nice to meet you Kali," he said cheerfully.
She has a tail? He asked himself. He watched her for a quick second then went back to listening music.
This school was different to him. He was not used to being paired with women. Now, he has to be as neat as possible.

] Kali smiled at the boy. He seemed nice. Kali grabbed her tail and twisted it nervously in her hands. What it that? Kali asked looking at his music player. She never really had contact with outside world before so she was confused about technology.

"Oh this… it plays music. I usually play it myself with that guitar over there," he pointed to his guitar sitting in the corner. Cloud really wondered where this woman Kali was from. She doesn't even know what a MP3 is. This is the statement that ran through his head. It wouldn't bother him too much however. He did not let things like this get to him.

Kali blushed deeply. She felt so stupid. Stupid enough to have to explain herself. My parents didn't allow technology in the house...or me out of it Kali said sitting on the floor. She liked the floor it was always comforting.

Cloud laughed,"Don't worry my parents didn't let me go anywhere. They abused me and my powers quite a bit. It is kind of why I'm here. Everything here, I bought with my own money." Cloud looked down showing that he was sort of embarrassed by his past.

Kali smiled brightly at him. She took out her prized possession. A darkly stained fiddle. It's the one thing I've ever wanted that my parents have gotten me Kali said opening the case and showing him. What race do you think I am? she asked looking at the boy with hoping eyes.

"I would say a Neko but you're different. As in, you are more of a feline so that would rule out Neko. I've heard of some kind of genetic mutation but I don't seem to remember what it was called. I read about this kind stuff all the time. Can you tell me the proper name for it?" he really hoped he was correct. He did not want to disappoint her already.

A catish smile went across her face. She couldn't help but give him a hug as she said Kittymorph. Kali was excited. SOMEONE WHO KNEW WHAT SHE WAS FINALLY! She released him from the hug. Thank you thank you thank you she repeated rather quickly.

Cloud laughed at her reaction. She seemed so happy and the funny thing is; he had no clue what he did to bring on the reaction. He just graciously accepted and returned the hug. He looked at her and decided that he would ask his own mind boggling question.
"Ok my turn now. I want you to figure out my power. It has something to do with these rings. Although, the ring itself does not bear power." He flashed his rings up. There was one for each finger on his right hand. They all bore a distinct symbol written in Japanese Kanji.
"Also, the colors correspond." He knew she was smart so she could figure it out. Kali honestly just looked smart. He chuckled at the thought.

Kali smiled. She quickly took his hand and looked at the rings This is actually very simple Kali said smiling at him. One for each of the five elements being earth, water, fire, air and lightning although you can't create them yourself She said smiling at him with her golden eyes. Looking around she decided to go for a walk Anyways it was nice meeting you she said before walking off.
