 Oh Davey wont go after her, comfort her, or apologize. The closest she would get to that is Davey was waiting for her again at the edge of the safe zone yet in the water this time. Well he was sorta waiting for her sorta half laying in the water his head slung on the shore looking like a squid that had washed ashore. He was depressed for the first time in his life, he wasn't used to any emotion other than anger...so it was making him some what pissy to feel other emotions. Davey was a failure at giving his mate foals, maybe he was to old or to much of a mutant. He also longed for the only thing that had ever soothed his anger, the ocean. Its salty breeze and calling freedom in the waters the push and pull, streams and lakes just weren't the same. Why couldn't she figure out he was trying to get her to take him there? He won't ask permission that's for sure he stayed cause he chose to he wasn't her slave and yet was he? Davey had to stay in the safe zone with the males and wait for her to get him when had he become so broken didn't he used to be a terror? Was this some form of love and what? He didn't know he didn't care to find out right now. He simply popped his lips in frustration and eyed the paths she normally used to come to him.

 Benn'joon was hurt and angry. She hadn't meant to snap at Davey like that. After all, it wasn't his fault they didn't have foals yet. It wasn't like he wasn't trying. He must've just been feeling grumpy, just like she was. She blew a few irritated bubbles and let out a sigh. She should go check on him. Make sure he wasn't tormenting the other males due to boredom. Letting out a soft grumble, she moved out of the water and made her way to the safe zone.
"Davey?" She called out as she grew close enough to see him. She didn't want to seem too concerned, it wouldn't look good to the other stallions if she singled hom out too often, not that she cared. Jealousy could be an ugly thing though. You could never be too careful.

Davey's golden green eyes caught sight of Benn'joon as she moved towards him. His tentacle tails slashed in the water as he tried to make out what he was feeling towards her right now. Could a beast such as he have a soft spot for a female? It seemed so, or perhaps it was easier to explain it as a lust? That seemed like a more believable answer, maybe?
"Yeah?" Davey said lifting his head to look at her. "I..didn't leave, iffin' that's what concerns yah." He sounded grumpy, yet even to him it didn't sound right. Almost as it was forced to cover something he wasn't even admitting to himself.

The naga mare shook her head, "No, I didn't think you would. I have faith in you. Um...would you like to come for a walk with me?" She had hesitated just a touch and cursed herself inwardly. Only this stallion made her feel weak and uncertain. What was it about him? Was it his sullen obedience or something else? It wasn't love, that's for sure. Well....at least that's what she was telling herself.

Davey raised a brow at her, she wasn't still mad for the way he had acted earlier? He lifted himself out of the water shaking off slightly before standing beside her. "Sure....be good to get away from the boys for awhile." Davey hated it in the safe zone he wasn't much for company specially not from males and the safe zone felt rather cramped to him.
"I shouldn't have spoke the way I did before I think.....I'm not apologizing don't be mistakin' dis for that, just no need for harsh words towards ya I think." Davey grumbled it was an apology saying it wasn't didn't change that, but made him feel better.

Benny nodded, keeping silent as she led the way to a stream away from her sisters and the other mares. She took the apology for what it was even if he said otherwise. After a few minutes, she asked him quietly, "Why do you stay if you're so unhappy Davey? You know you can leave at any time. Don't you?"
She had no idea that she looked as sad as she did. There was an odd ache inside her at the thought of this strange stallion leaving her side to go elsewhere. It seemed out of place to her feeling this way about any male and especially this one. Maybe it would be better for both if he left, but she didn't want to say so.

Davey followed Benny before noticing just had sad she looked right now. His head hurt slightly and the tentacles on his face drooped. Then she asked him something he wasn't expecting, how could he answer something he couldn't explain to himself.
Davey was silent as he followed along her side. If she looked at him she would see a blank yet confused stare. "I don't know...and yes I know I can leave when ever I like." He went silent for a time again before speaking once more. "I just hate other males, you know that right?....and the only thing that has made me feel before is the sea... and I miss my trips to it." This was is round about way of not saying the reasons he stays, but complaining about the reasons he wants to leave. He stayed because of her pure and simple he liked her some how she made him feel things again like the sea did. He wouldn't admit it, but relief from the hate was something he enjoyed.

The naga mare led the way quietly for a while until the reached where the earth turned to sand near the sea. This was where she had been leading them. She knew how much he missed this place. She wanted to do something nice and decided to surprise him with a trip to the sea.
"We're here. Come with me a little while longer Davey." She strolled slowly towards the edge where the sea kissed the shore and stood while the waves lapped at her hooves.
"I hope you enjoy yourself today."
