User ImageDvija rose as he normally did, the sun barely peeping up over the horizon. His Tempest was warm against his side and with a sweet reluctance he peeled himself away from her. She was such a lusty nymph, he grinned to himself in remembrance. Fiesty and sweet. He'd not been able to get enough of her, in all honesty, and because of that he was still here.

Making his way out to the gently lapping waves of the sea, Dvija buried his toes in the sand and stared out at the endless ocean with a clarity that he'd not felt in a long, long time. He couldn't really even remember when he'd last felt this keen and sharp.

With a happy sigh, Dvija closed his eyes and inhaled deeply of the briny sea air.

She didnt much like the day. It was always way too bright for her. But she felt the warm fur of the male leave her side. She blinked her eyes open. Then lifted her head to watch him walk out into the day. She wasnt sure what exactly he was doing, but she watched for a few minutes more.

When she had looked him over enough, she stood from her resting position and stretched out her legs, toes stretching as well. She loved a good stretch in the morning.
Shaking herself off she began slowly padding out towards the little cave they had made their own for the time being. He as fun, and every bit as good as he looked. She found herself choosing him as her consort for right now. She had decided he would be who would give her cubs. There was no feeling there, not really. Or at least not from her. The most she was having was a bit of fun. But feelings she never invested in.

"You wake...early." She said, looking over the ocean and then to Her ocean.

Dvija turned as he heard his nymph speak, the smile already stretching across his face broadening. He watched her approach him, his pale eyes heavy-lidded and intense. She was beautiful in the pearly-pink light of the barely-there sun, and Dvija took a moment to admire her form and her beauty.

"Did I wake you?" He hoped that he hadn't, but then again if he hadn't, he wouldn't be able to enjoy the sight of her as she drew closer to him. His nostrils flared as he inhaled her special scent, an almost spicy and completely feminine aroma.

Dvija buried his nose in her neck when she drew close enough. He was convinced that this was what true happiness felt like.

When he turned to look at her, she took her own moment to look at him in the sunshine. He almost sparkled. He was simply a beautiful creature, and she had been looking for someone to father a perfect litter. She was positive that he was that someone. She almost wished that he could stay with her. But that was a silly wish and she shook her head. It wasnt wise to start trying to wish for things that could never happen. Not even to entertain the notion.

"You did. Though only because youre incredibly big, and incredibly warm." She said with a wink. Without his body behind her, she had instantly been aware from the moment he stood.

When he buried his nose into her neck, she grinned and purred. Though with a chuckle after a minute, she pushed him gently.
"Oh stop." She said, but was smiling, and looking at him with a teasing gaze.

He grinned at her, shaking his head. His voice was tinged with slight amazement when he spoke, "I can't help myself. You've cast a spell on me, my Tempest, and I cannot think clearly when you are so close to me." His smile grew a little shy after that, a little pink tinting his nose even pinker as he blushed.

Honestly, shy? Now? With that realization came a few others -- he didn't yet know her name, he didn't know where she called home, and he.. didn't really know anything about her.

He really didn't care, either.

He liked this relationship they had. Mysterious, passionate, sweet and tempestuous. Volatile. Real.

"Would you like to swim with me?"

"Of course I did." She said with a purr, a chuckle emitting from her thoat. She looked at him with halflidded eyes and winked.
She knew that she liked the feeling of having seduced him. It hadnt taken long for her to seduce him. No, it had been quite simple. But then again she felt seduced. She felt like he had completely overtaken her senses. She just wanted..more. The feelings for him if she harbored any, were passion, and lust. She wanted him, and he wanted her. It was a pretty pleasant match.

She thought of the words he said and with a grin she nodded, and stepped one foot first, then another, slowly. She turned to look at him, swaying as she walked into the ocean. She knew the effect she had on him, and she wanted to use it to her advantage.

Dvija paused for a few long moments, watching her wade into the surf. He liked the way the waves swirled around her legs, seafoam clinging to the darkness of her midnight pelt. The foam mingled with her own markings, making for a whimsical scene that he allowed himself to enjoy.

His eyes met hers and from that moment he followed her into the sea. He was captivated and there was no denying this. To deny it would make a fool of him when his desire for her was so obvious. She was a masterpiece and he was merely a fool that appreciated her beauty.

"This is nice," he whispered softly.

"And you are so sentimental." She chuckled, and used her front paw to send a splash of salt water his way. She wasnt really one that liked to play around very often, but she just felt like doing it now for some reason.

She smiled, trying to make sure she didn't blush. She didn't want to blush. She was Lady of the Paw for crying out loud! Her tail fluff floated to and fro with the water, making it look like it was a fish all its own.

She could feel the little fish darting and nibbling at her toes and she continued to wiggle them to try to keep them off.

"When it's your time to leave, where will you go?" She asked curiously. Not because she wanted him to stay, but maybe to remind him that, eventually, he would have to go.

Dvija laughed at her playful antics, shaking the water from his pale mane as he watched her warmly. The childish action suited her well. He liked that she could make him laugh so easily. He wasn't well-prepared for her next question, though, and the smile that had come so easily to his muzzle left with heartbreaking slowness.

He hadn't given much thought to leaving her, in all honesty. It wasn't something that he would willingly admit to his Tempest. He did not want to seem as if they would spend the rest of their lives with one another, enjoying the ocean and the company of one another.

He knew, more than likely, that she was gently telling him that their time together would have to come to an end.

"Back to my pride, I would guess," he said, averting his gaze so she could not see the emotion that filled his pale eyes. She was right, he was sentimental. It was the way he was built.

She smiled, seeing the pain on his face and walked closer to him. Headbutting him gently, she licked his cheek. Pulling away, she winked at him.
"No need for goodbyes yet. I plan on keeping you around at least a bit longer." She chuckled, not lying and still acting as if she was teasing. She stepped around in the ocean, pawing at the sand.

Her bright eyes sparkled as she flicked her tail at his haunches, stepping back onto the shore. The water dripping off of her made her look graceful, and and the sunshine beamed off the droplets making her almost sparkle.

"Come on, my Wild Ocean. Im feeling a bit.. needy." She grinned, and then turned to walk back to the shadows of the den.
