 So far, the day had been rather good--at least in comparision to the last few months. He was back to his old self for the most part--for the most part. There was always that moment that brought anger, intensity, and a wave of emotions he didn't think he could ever describe. How could one love, hate, cherish, demolish and understand nothing and everything in one single thought? As he walked along, he saw a welcome view. A large female was standing a few feet away, Aponi approached her from behind enjoying the view, "Excuse me, pretty lady?" He tossed his hair.

 She'd been standing, watching out over the grassy lands waiting to see if she'd see a welcome view of her friends today. Nothing.. Not Amelia.. not even Cedric to be seen. A small sigh escaped her as she flopped down to the ground oblivious to the stallion behind her. He bell jingled as she flopped not really paying much attention other that to what was infront of her. Some times she cursed the loss of her hearing. It wasn't like she'd been born that way. No, a small mishap as a foal had left her this way and she's dealt with it remarkably well.. A tleast it was something that she gave much credit to Amellia for had she not been there she didn't know how she'd have taken it all.Binky was fast asleep tucked in a ball using her tail to cover herself making her a fluffy white and pink ball in the grass not too far from where Idonea was.

Aponi felt ignored. Most ladies didn't ignore him, they'd laugh--they'd flirt back, but never ignore. "Excuse me?" He offered tentatively. But still she didn't turn. Did she have no manners?
"To good to talk to me?" He was becoming a little irritated. He circled around in front of her. "Why am I so bad?"

As the green legs reached her view, she blinked and looked up in time only to catch the last of his questions. Blinking, she cocked her head to the side confused. Why was he so bad? how was she to know? she didn't even know this stranger and he was asking this of her? Had she missed something again? She figured maybe she must have and with a small sigh she gave a small pleasant smile and sighed lightly. With an apologetic looks she looked at him dead in the eyes and spoke bluntly. "How should I know? I know you not. And if you're referring to me possibly not responding.. if you spoke behind me I wouldn't know.. I can't hear anything." Her voice was gruff for a mare though it held a slight feminine quality to it.
Idonea's prattling stirred her. It wasn't often that Nea spoke being that Binky and she had learned to communicate without words. The ball of fluff stirred and looked irritatedly at the stallion. "You be nice to Nea... She deaf.. and if you don't like it you can just shove off and be on your way my pet doesn't need to be any more depressed than she has been!"

Aponi felt himself blush profusely. "I'm sorry...I didn't know. I thought you were just ignoring me." He felt stupid, and vain to say that. He had been hurt, because he felt so fantastically lonely when he was alone. It was like it was weighing on him, pushing him under--crushing him. The events from his past would just play over and over in his mind. It was easier to talk, to be around others---anything was easier than being alone. "I'm really sorry, forgive me?" He pleaded.

She looked at Binky and shot her a warning look that said the little raccoon was over stepping her boundaries some. Offering a reassuring smile she gave a small nod. she understood it wasn't his fault he couldn't have known after all. Some times it was a it of a hurtful reminder how she wouldn't be able to hear things like she once had. "Is fine.. No worries.. Life rolls on even if it tosses a log in your path you get over it with caution and never forget that you were strong enough to pull yourself over the log." She was speaking cryptically about her own trials of course having once been hearing and then lost that ability.

He smiled tenatively at her, as he bowed his head to her. "Has it always been this way? If it's not too rude to ask." He was genuinely curious. He was watching her, gently glad that she was accepting him for now.

She watched him speak and then shook her head. "I use to hear as a foal.. my hearing.. it went away one night... been deaf ever since." She smiled and let Binky cuddle up to her. She nudged the raccoon lightly to let her know that all was forgiven.

Binky's tail ruffled some. as she glared up at the stallion.
Frowning, she sighed lightly." Is.... difficult to explain. But I'll try.. When I was a filly I was found on the river bed and when I woke there was another filly.." She paused before continuing. She told him about Amellia and the bugs and fish and how she and Amellia had formed a way to talk through symbols. She told him everything about her deafness and how it came to happen.

Aponi nodded, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to touch on...such a subject. It's highly innapropriate and ungentlemanly of me." He cast his eyes down, "I really am."
He greatly dislike the face the little raccoon was making at him.

Binky shook her binky at him the little bell on it chiming some before she promptly stuck it in her mouth and fluttered into his face. Pulling out the binky once more, she stuck her tongue out at the stallion. "you better be sorry!"
Sighing heavily, she stood up and nipped binky's tail,dragging her back away from the stallion. "Binky.. be nice.. He didn't know and stop being so sensitive. it is my test in life.. be happy for you Have me little one. Like sippy." She shook her head ad offered a lopsided goofy grin. "All is well no worries... It's not touchy though Binky would have you believe otherwise."

"She's quite fierce, isn't she?" Aponi moved back a bit nervously. He was trying to skirt around to something more amicable, "What brings you to here? Do you live around here?"

She chuckled lightly after watching his words form. " She can be.. I wander.. I travel to see what I can but my home isn't too far off." She eyed Binky some before gently nudging her.
Grumbling till she'd been nudged, she scrambled up onto Idonea's back and curled into the fluffy comfort of her back.

"Oh very nice," he sighed as he looked around. "I haven't had a home for quite awhile. So I'm just everywhere." His eyes glinted sadly, there was a slight edge to his voice.
