For those of you who don't know, the Serenity/Firefly universe is set roughly 500 years in the future where man had drained the earth of all the precious materials and scattered to the stars in their primitive vessels with Terra forming technologies and managed to set up several groups of planets the inner most center of these formed the alliance and then there were the rim and border planets well things didn't stay nice and shiny for long, the Alliance wanted to unite all the people of mankind under one banner well the folk on the rim didnt take to kindly to that and so the war for independence began. To make a long story short the Alliance won and so Unification day was formed and life continued on. Now, where the rest of you come in Captain rellius galehammer is the captain of the Aces n' Eights a mid-bulk transport much like another famous ship (wink wink) but is not a firefly class instead it is a Bullfrog a ship used in the War for independence for taking out supply lines on both sides, But it has since been modified into a civilian vessel. Right now the Aces n' Eights is currently docked at Beaumonde (the place from Serenity where River starts the Bar Fight and mentions the mysterious Miranda) where hes going to refuel, restock, and recruit for his next job provided to him by old war buddy "Darith Orion"

Okay for the skills and Attributes these are just so that way we have a feel for you character and not power played, since your all supposed to be rookie crew you start with 48 points and each stat that is italicized text can go up by an even number (2,4,6,8,10,12,14) ranging from 2 being incompetent and 14 being godly and 6 being about average human.

skills are: (skills work the same as Attribute points)
Animal handling (taming an animal or riding a horse)
Artistry (Any form of art you cant think of from finger painting to sculpting)
Athletics (Specializing in an area of athletic ability)
Covert (sneaking, infiltration, assassination)
Discipline (Mental resistance, morale)
Guns (type of firearm your proficent with)
Heavy Weapons (Artilery)
Influence (Conversation, political, religious.)
Knowledge (you know something about ...)
Linguist (the ability to understand language)
Mechanical Engineering (fixing and tinkering)
Medical Expertise (patching people up)
Melee weapon combat (Pick a melee weapon from whips to clubs)
Perception (Hearing, listening, spotting, searching)
Performacne (playing an instrument or singing or dancign)
Pilot (land, air, space)
Ranged weapons (primitive ranged weapons like bows)
Scientific Expertise (you have ... scientific knowledge)
Survival (self explanatory)
Technical Engineering (Creating and inventing shiny new things!)
Unarmed Combat (Boxing, judo, brawling)
