Wyn'tr was finally settling down in Peke'Na lands, her first few days were a bit shakey as she did almost die from overexposure to the winter elements. The pekena seemed to be a very friendly and giving bunch but that could be just the ones she met so far. Her very pale eyes looked around for something to do as her breath smoked the air. It finally took a break in snowing and she used that to her advantage. Though there was some tale of more snow on the way not that she minded now as she had a home to stay warm as well as safe in.
Wyn'tr more known as Snowfall now-a-days watched her adopted family from a far. Ancientheart had taken the pups out for some play before the storm that was said to approach within the hour. Snowfall shook her head at the thought of those pups being couped up for a long time period with no execrise. A soft laughter escaped when a mound of snow fell on one pup from the tree branch and then she turned her head towards the bussel of the pack trying to getting ready to hunker down again. More food and shelter was needed as the food was fastly being eaten and the shelters were somewhat falling apart from the heaviness of the snow.

Silverleaf came from the southern roguelands where the touch of winter was barely seen. The wild dog often left his pack in order to explore the lands always searching for new plants and new ways to bring life into the lands of the Peke Na. As it was he had roots of new plants tucked safely away in a pouch of rabbit hide which hung from around his neck. He was hoping that once spring came he could coax the plants into growing in a new home. If not he at least had learned the ointments which could be made from them.
He knew it was winter, but it was still a shock to see it.
Snow. White and brilliant it littered the usually dusty earth, covering any life that might have once grown from it. Still Silverleaf couldn’t hate it. Nature in any form was beautiful and the dog had to admit that the brilliance was snow was stunning. His thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of life, however, and the dog perked up immediately at spotting the familiar boundaries of his home. Grinning he started to move again. How much had changed this time since he had left on this journey?
Only one way to find out.

Snowfall had wander a little further out than usual, the tanner usually stuck closer to the burrows incase there was danger a foot. But today she felt the need to just explore before burrowing down again. The further she got out, the softer the pups laughter was heard. Her ears flickered this way and that as she smelled the air. Life was great here though at times she missed her family, her siblings back in the rogue lands.
A sound far off stole her attention and she froze incase danger was afoot. A light snow fall suddenly had begun to sprinkle her coat with a light dusting. Snowfall thought about calling out incase it was someone that needed help, but then thought it could be a hungry lion come for some food. She did not want to be a lions supper thank you very much.

Silverleaf nearly didn't stop as he ran past another wild dog. Who? He didn't recognize the scent either. Was it a stranger? Stumbling to a stop the male turned to look back. "Hey." He called out with a smile, "Sorry to nearly plow into you like that." Even if it was a stranger the dog held no fear. He was just open like that.
"What brings you to these parts?" Walking closer Silverleaf inspected the female. She didn't look familiar, but now that he could actually stop to study her there was that familiar scent of home about her. Was she a visitor to the Peke Na or a new dog here? Silverleaf was suddenly amused by the thought. If she was then she probably thought he was the stranger! Especially since he had been gone into the roguelands for so long. She probably smelled more of home than he did at the moment.

"O-oh, that's okay. I wasn't hurt none." Snowfall stuttered out shyly as she watched the other male cautiously. "Hello, I-I live he-here now. Another female canine by the na-name of Ancientheart we-welcomed me into her home. I used to live wi-with my family in the Rogue Lands before I wandered here in a hu-huge snowstorm." She moved her ears this way and that picking up all sorts of sounds. Then she took a deep breath and smelt something... lovely...wild and foresty. She assumed it was the male that stood a few paces away.
"M-my name is Snowfall, that was the name given to me." She eyed the male with interest. "A-and you are?"

He smiled. "Well that's good." The wilddog nodded as he looked over her, "Oh, so you are new!" He grinned before pulling back a bit, "Sorry. I'm Silverleaf. I actually come from here believe it or not." He laughed softly under his breath, "I travel a bunch though to gather more knowledge and plants for the pack lands."
Standing he took a step forward. Slowly though as not to scare her. He had picked up on the faint wariness coming from her. He was a stranger after all. Silverleaf silently reminded himself. Not everyone was as open and trusting as him. "I suppose we should walk towards the pack now?" He smiled, "I'm eager to see home now. Has anything changed or any interesting news at least?"

"T-that's nice, it sounds like a-an interesting job. You must see all kinds of interesting things." Her stuttering was slowly disappearing as she became more comfortable in Silverleaf's company. She watched as he stood and offered to walk her to their home. "Well," She started off slowly as she was trying to think of anything new. "Not that I know of, well unless you called getting sprayed by a nasty small creature.. it happened to one of the leaders three weeks ago." Her nose crinkled at the memory.. it had been hellish to be around the leader especially at meetings.
"So did you find anything interesting on your journey?" She was curious by nature and she look over at the male before sinking into the ground as the snow couldn't hold her weight in spots.

Silverleaf smiled at the other dog, “Yep! It’s very interesting to see how different every place can be from the last. This place though…” He looked around at the winter scenery, “Definitely is one of my favorites.” Looking at her he laughed at her comment about the leader being sprayed. “Well! Guess it was unfortunate for them then.” His gaze danced with light humor. Hopefully someone had remembered the best way to get any stink out of fur. If not well then…he just shook his head.
“Did I?” Blinking in surprise the dog nodded slowly, “Several new plant species and some new herbs for healing. I saw some really interesting other things as well, but couldn’t really drag them back here with me.” Watching her sink Silverleaf paused to wait on her. “Careful now. No telling how far down some of those spots will take you.”

"Oh I c-see," She made her way around the snow. "That's t-to bad, but there is a-always another ti-time." She smiled at the male wild dog next to her as they continued to venture out. The snow was coming down even more now and she shivered lightly at the feeling of wetness beginning to seep into her fur.
Snowfall was having fun with her light hearted friend, but like all things they weren't ment to last. Soon she would have to go home to rest as night was falling in the sky. The temperatures would drop and it would be unsafe for travelers to wander around unknown as well as know areas. "Well, Silverleaf it w-was a pleasure to meet you and I am sure that I will be seeing you around many times. I mean you do live i-in Peke'N-na after all."
END.
